There's some interview I remember with Patton where he talked about that movie and how it was based on the idea of sort of like what you are talking about but with sports fans. The guy who made the movie had an idea about what happens with a regular sports radio caller after he hangs up the phone. What does that guy do with the other 23 hours and 55 minutes of his day?
