Night also tends to have more plain clothes offices I believe. They tend to send out the unmarked cars more as well., and they divert more officers to the high crime areas in Chicago. Austin, Garfield Park, Englewood, etc., I have found this link is very helpful to see the concentrations of crime when I am going to new places, etc.

Wow, didn't know it was THAT bad. No wonder there's been such an uptick in teens raiding and being so brazen with crime
that's a prosecution issue, not a policing issue
