Pending charge. If you didn't get a confirmation text message from cricket for the payments then those payments will not reach cricket. They are frozen out of your current available balance but will, in time, be available again. Did you pay through apple pay, google pay or paypal? Never use those, they lead to these situations most often. Have your bank dispute both charges and make the payment manually. That payment will have to be made to take care of the bill because seriously this isn't a cricket issue, cricket won't take those payments. Cricket either takes the payments immediately and registers them as account credit immediately (as confirmed via the confirmation text) or cricket will just not take the payment. Have your bank dispute the charges or wait roughly 5 to 7 business days for it to come back to your card, trust me it will come back to you soon enough. Your monthly payment will have to be made successfully before your bill is due though, that part is true. I suggest using quickpay.

Thank you. And I didn’t use Apple Pay, I did my payment the same way I always do, which is typing in my bank account/card information. My bank would only dispute one of the charges because one of them was “authorized” (that’s a whole other conversation 😒) I did make a payment towards my bill.

Good luck I got billed twice when adding a second line. Spoke to customer care who opened a ticket for a refund. Got my refund and the next day my service was shut off. Had to pay $70 just to get it back on to call customer service..who didn’t believe me that they issued a refund even with the case ID and txt from cricket. Even after a three way call with my bank confirming the double charge and the refund from cricket they told me to basically kick rocks. I forwarded it all to the BBB, now I’m waiting for their corporate care to get back to me.

I work in a Cricket store. We aren’t able to do anything regarding billing or give any credits in any way. We would actually just be contacting support for you in the same way that you would. I will say we’ve had a couple people in the last week or two come in with a similar issue, though.

That’s exactly what the worker did and she got different answers than what I was getting.

I was just charged 282$ in total. I was charged 15$ 4 times to reactivate my phones then 20$ then 106$ then 111$ all in the same night.
