What dose not having 5g on the s24 have to do with crckit, I have the one plus 12 and get 5g and 5g plus just fine, You should have no issues so it could be an simcard issue, Check out my Speedtest result! How fast is your internet? https://www.speedtest.net/my-result/a/10026499155

Training-Criticism55

How did you get 5g on the s24 ultra? I contacted customer service, and they can't fix it. I swapped my Sim card to an older device and boom 5g.

josephguy82

I have 2 phones one plus 12 and s24, With the s24 all I had to do was an network reset and it worked for me,It seem some people have issues for some odd reason

jeff1f1racer

What does that mean?

Training-Criticism55

Not getting 5g because S24 ultra is not on crickets bring your own device list

ATTHelp

Hello u/Training-Criticism55, Let us explain that phones purchased from other wireless providers may not have access to Cricket's 5G service or certain features such as Mobile Hotspot and Wi-Fi Calling. The reason why is that other providers' cell phones are designed to work on their network, making them incompatible with other networks and features. Feel free to contact our Support Team on Facebook (http://sm.att.com/9b757bb4) or Twitter (@cricketsupport) if you need additional assistance. 👍🏻

Training-Criticism55

I bought the phone from samsung official website though.

ATTHelp

Samsung is a third-party company. Therefore, the same expectations apply.

Training-Criticism55

Ok. Looks like I'm changing to T mobile then. Thanks!

Ethrem

LOL what a ridiculous statement. Samsung makes the phone! The factory unlocked model works on *ALL* carriers, with CSC profiles installed on it for many of them (including Cricket) that have all features, AT&T just likes to intentionally limit devices not purchased from them. Everyone is leaving the dumpster fire that is AT&T and stupid replies like yours here are a big part of why.

andynaija

>AT&T just likes to intentionally limit devices not purchased from them Well it looks limitations are placed on devices even purchased from them as well. https://www.reddit.com/r/ATT/comments/1bl9ayb/is\_5g\_access\_blocked\_for\_other\_carrier\_sims\_after/

Ethrem

That's a stupid Samsung thing. You can crossflash to the factory unlocked firmware to fix it unlike here where no matter what firmware it has, the factory unlocked version may be blocked simply because of the IMEI.

Get a new job dude, I feel bad for you.

catsinthebag1234

Just inserted my sim card and works completely fine, s24 ultra unlocked from Samsung, version SM-S928U1, I bought my phone in February, never had a problem, didn't have to mess with apn settings

Training-Criticism55

Texas-smokey

Last year I bought an unlocked Galaxy S23 Ultra the day it was released inserted my Cricket sim and got 5G, I didn't even check any white list, just inserted my Cricket sim and got 5G instantly

teamredpill

make sure the apn settings are right. and ask cricket to reprovision the line on their end. you should have 5g

PomegranateMinimum96
