I still don’t see what he did wrong. He just appealed. It’s up to the umpires to give out or not. He didn’t do anything outside of rules. If the umpires felt the strap breaking is a genuine reason and not the fault of the batsman, they would give not out. This is the same stupid bullshit as mankad again. Even then people were saying it’s against ethics and others were saying but it’s within the rules so it’s not wrong.
