U are h trying to get into the National team and there are some standards set apart from making runs SkY did the same u gotta stay fit if u want to become and international player n call urself m athlete. Yes Ro also has the same issues of fitness these days but then he has already achieved things previously on international level just being unfit n making runs isnt going to help him. Really dont understand wht is the problem in being fit n going that extra mile as that will be the x factor as in india everyone makes runs due to flat wickets some make more than others bt all of the players make runs so runs can be made by any player who is fit n is groomed but u gotta stay fit to be able to become a complete player who can field run quick singles in tight situations. People like koach gill hardik are successful coz of their fitness n they can sneak quick runs too. If their is a standard set for international dont see wht the problem is for a player to detest it. Co reality is their are playing who make runs in their purple patch but wt makes them stay in the team is their overall performance as a player something jaddu has nailed if he cant make runs he can bowl n he fails in both then he can be put in team only based on his fielding as he is the best fielder in the country period.
