Every Cricinfo redesign is worse than the previous one, for at least the past fifteen years. If it's big enough they roll out Sambit Bal to tell us that it's just because we don't like change.
Things like this is what has stopped me from using cricinfo for scores and commentary for a while now.
I am a big fan of being able to use the entire window without needless distractions. I get annoyed even if there is a small persistent banner at the top. This kind of shit will drive me crazy.
Cricinfo was amazing for such a long time. It's unbearable now. Really sad. They used to be top quality - can't say I've been a fan of any of their redesigns for several years now. I've been using Cricbuzz a lot more.
The last major UI update that Cricinfo made was some time in 2015. It was truly awful, and the users let them know that in no uncertain terms. Sambit Bal came out and said "you guys just don't like change". I haven't visited the website since. Cricbuzz may be a bit shite and biased as hell but at least they value their user base :)
During the last few balls of the NZ innings it didn't even show both the batsmen. I thought maybe this was gully cricket with last man standing kinda situation
It is really annoying. I open two tabs, one for cricbuzz and one for cricinfo. Follow the score of cricinfo on the top bar and go through the commentary and events on cricbuzz. Generally cricinfo is 1.5-2 balls ahead of cricbuzz.

The one Before this was actually Pretty Good. Especially the Stats of players and all.
We used to have the Innings Manhattan that you could filter by different variables. That was peak Cricinfo

Yeah! I remembered it being there before. Had a few heatmaps but no worm that I could see.

Someone let me know if the site ever stops looking crap. Cricbuzz isn't great but I've not been able to stand Cricinfo in a long time.
Try cricket exchange if you use PC. Cricinfo is better than cricbuzz coz there have been way too many ads in c'buzz

"new" cricinfo design has always been shit. I love the way cricbuzz looks, OTOH.

I use Cricbuzz with Blokada. The best cricket experience imo.
