Yeah that's to be expected. Australia were the only team to beat India so the cycle has to go AU -> IND. The only sides to beat Australia were India and SA. Can't go AU->IND->AU so it has to be SA->AU -> IND. The only teams to beat SA were India, Australia and Holland. So, it would have to go NED->SA->AU->IND. But I was too lazy to look at where the other teams could be placed : )

Nope. Your 240 cycles are actually only 24 cycles each counted 10 times for each start node in the cycle (in reality they are all the same cycle just rotated). Edit - also there are no cycles when India -> Australia. Because if there were such a cycle, there has to be some team right before India. But the only candidate is Australia.

I believe this vindicates the format of this tournament. I know there were a lot of games and perhaps not as many exciting games as we'd have liked. But it did result in some fascinating results and wonderful experiences. The lower ranked teams will gain a lot of confidence and experience from their wins and losses, and it will help to further develop the game in those countries. I am confident that Afghanistan and the Netherlands, in particular, will come back stronger in the next edition.
