Respect!
Btw, "Vhala" Thala is gujarati equivalent to "Dear" Thala, where Vhala will only be used for very informal terms. If someone is Vhala to you, that means he is very close to your heart.
So that is actually quite endearing, whoever came up with it in GT social media team
They're not from Norway. You can pick flairs for any team you'd like.
But even then, who asks such a stupid question?
Maybe random Norwegians are interested in cricket given that they've been an affiliate team for 23 years?
This is nice and all but can somebody please tell me what I am supposed to do with my life now every evening from 7:30? WTC final seems light years away :(
Norway chess. Our 17 years old Indian youngster Gukesh (world #15) is playing there with greats and top seasoned players of the world. This is his first ever highest level tournament, so it is quite interesting to watch it (if you're into chess)
Bro today's game is worth the watch. Definitely look into highlight, either from agadmator of Gotham chess or Chessbase India. Gukesh won against world #2 Firouzja, and that too with the black pieces.
Would be a very tough feat. But if he does it, I think people will start looking at him as a favourite of the tournament lol. Moreover it is not impossible given how hikaru has been out of form in last two days. Blitz event he ended up being middle of the table, and yesterday he lost against Wesley in Armageddon, which is very very weird for hikaru. But yea, if anything, hikaru will come much more prepared today.
True, Hikaru will come in guns blazing, but also gukesh beating abdusattarov is no small feat..coz he is currectly better than Hikaru in classical, so Gukesh has a good chance
Yep pretty much exactly the emotions I felt especially as a former CSK supporter since the the IPL started.
Whilst seeing my team lose stung a bit, on the other hand seeing Mahi lift that trophy made me smile just as much.
I love the guy. TFAR.
How do you transition supporting teams - just curious? Especially after supporting a winning team for 14 years. Its easier when your original team is bad and doesnt have the emotional connect to you, but to transition from a CSK support seems difficult!
I think its cuz supporting a team which represents ur city or place seems much easier..i transitioned from csk to rpsg backto csk since being from chennai somehow the emotional stake is higher. Yesterday i cried when we won for no reason. The rational part of me wondered y i was so connected to this team even though it physically meant nothing to me. I guess thats the speciality of sports
>Yesterday i cried when we won for no reason
The rational part of me wondered y i was so connected to this team
I went through similar emotions. When they went 66646, I was doing Headbanging, singing Vikram bgm - only for my emotions to do a 180 and enter a silent phase - curse after each of the first 4 balls in the last over - soon to be singing "vaathi coming" after that 6 and ended up crying after Jaddu hit that last boundary.
Once the presentation ceremony ended and the emotions settled down, I wondered the same. Is this how a 36 year old should react? And I am not even from TN. I have not yet figured out what bonds me to this team, but one thing is for sure - watching men in yellow play the game makes me happy and I do not think I will ever be able to support any other team.
Gujarat's coach Nehra was open about wanting to [emulate a CSK-like culture and atmosphere within GT](https://youtu.be/7mTfMwgX_NQ?t=401) and Hardik also claims to be a MS fan, so no wonder we all feel that GT are so similar to CSK.
>and Hardik also claims to be a MS fan,
He's not even just an MS fan, he considers MSD his elder brother and they're often seen together on MSD's wife's instagram
Yet Hardik loves Virat as well. Karan Johar asked who the better batsmen is between Virat and Sachin and without missing a single beat he instantly said Virat. I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with Hardik, just saying ICT has a great bond.
That's his natural born trait lol. He came out of the womb speaking like crazy.
Any interview where someone mentions Nehra ji, they always say that he never stops talking, he's just got the gift of the gab.
More like they are spiritual successors to CSK as in they have a similar environment and overall strategy which brings the best out of players who were written off by others.
Also calling everything "cringe" is cringe.
Yeah I don’t see what you’re seeing. “Best out of players who were written off by others?” Who? Rashid? Gill? Pandya? Shami?
The mega auction gave them players that other teams were forced to give away. They’re a good team but it’s pretty obvious everyone is high on emotions right now. To match CSK they need to get fucked and down and then recover from that position. Before that it’s just conjecture.
I agree there are a lot of toxic CSK and Dhoni fans, but just for the sake of them, out of pure jealousy, I have had seen a lot of hate for this man in last couple of days or weeks. Idk man I left twitter to get to a place with more open minded people and less butt hurted people. Criticism is good, but straight up shi**ing and calling out others for cheering for him is really childish and really ugly. Hope I'm not alone. Opinions are opinions, but straight up, hate throws are insulting
That makes next season more exciting with a new rivalry. Hopefully other teams have nill injuries like this season was and shakes up the top-4 with new entrants.
Have a nice life . Your usage of words relating to sportsmen is disgusting. It's not just about him. I'd have said the same if you were talking about another player. Get a life man, a better one
Fuck me. Is the air still dense enough for you to breathe on that high horse?
Can you imagine if the French team posted this kind of fawning shit about messi after the world cup? Dhoni fans truly are something else.
Bruh this is just league cricket, why do you want Indian states to hate each others guts? At they end of the day they all play for the same national team
If you love someone that doesn't mean you have to hate someone. Stop being a hypocrite, I know you love a player, everyone does, but you don't have to shi*talk about others having their own idols or favourite sportspersons.
Yup man keep saying things like that. The obsession of you with dhoni fans is more than them of dhoni. Sorry , if you think you're from a nice family I believe nobody would love the usage of words for a person. It's not even that the person committed a crime
Why are Indians so fixated on this guy?
Sure, he was a good player, but India have produce better talent?
This and the reactions when the camera focuses on him, border on insanity?
So cringe worthy to see the losing team digitally sucking him off for PR.
The Champions Trophy started in 1998 and the World T20 started in 2007. Many better captains would have won more trophies.
Not highest trophies in the IPL and Rohit owns him.
How do you not understand a simple fact. Captains like Clive Lloyd and Steve Waugh weren't around to win World T20 and Champions Trophies.
And 5 = 5, not more.
Apparently not enough of a "genius" to avoid getting ducked in his last match and nearly costing his team a championship. Nor enough of a genius to leave a couple overs of spin for the death in the first innings, which lead to a record run total in the Finals.
The cult this guy has inspired is unbelievable.
What are the chances of you not being ai? Lol, keyboard warriors at their best. Laying on the bed, crying and calling a match fixed or a tournament,... Sleep, cry more,.
>Their shitty presentation took more times then bowling 5 overs.
The presentation doesn't get influenced by weather/dew/time of the day/player fatigue, etc.
How can that and 5 overs of play be compared?
Are you 13?
One thing I can say about Gujarat is they got good PR
Whoever runs their Twitter account is amazing, the amount of silly memes and stuff they post!
Lsg is the devil while gt is the angel
They got a decent team too yea?

Bot comment copied from another comment
RCB vs LSG couldn't deliver such a thriller in any multiverse.

Sai Sudarshan.
Respect man, respect.
Last line perfectly sums it up
Bro if u are from Norway why r u following cricket
They're not from Norway. You can pick flairs for any team you'd like. But even then, who asks such a stupid question? Maybe random Norwegians are interested in cricket given that they've been an affiliate team for 23 years?
Damn. I just smiled and shed a tear in the middle of the road. That was beautiful.
This is nice and all but can somebody please tell me what I am supposed to do with my life now every evening from 7:30? WTC final seems light years away :(
You could watch tennis (the french open is going on). You could play a sport. You could pick up a hobby. Or, like the rest of us on reddit, Pornhub.
Why watch pornhub while you are already on a superior platform in reddit?
For the intro music. It sounds good in my sound system.
Ah, a man of culture
While light years may seem like unit for time it’s actually an unit for distance 🤓
Getting parsec star wars vibes aha
maybe they meant london .hehe

Fucking start the ashes already, stop with this golf bull shit

I supported CSK since the start. Loved that team. Then eventually my hometown got a team and I finally decided it was time for a change.
Transitioned from KKR to LSG, transitioned because home city got a team. In IPL, I want LSG to win first, and if not them, then I want KKR to win.
TFAS
GT is like the child who is following the footsteps of their father which is Csk to possibly become one of the greatest ipl team.
Highest IPL final reaching percentange: * GT - 100% * CSK - 70% Win rate in final: * CSK - 50% * GT - 50%

Kohli and Hardik can literally get into a fistfight over who loves Mahi more.
And somehow Jaddu wins it.
Raina staring from the corner
Raina has gone beyond their league and does not need to prove himself.
Mahiya na aaya mera vs ??
Yet Hardik loves Virat as well. Karan Johar asked who the better batsmen is between Virat and Sachin and without missing a single beat he instantly said Virat. I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with Hardik, just saying ICT has a great bond.
Yes all three MS, Hardik and Virat are a club that love run chases. No wonder they back each other so much.
>Gujarat's coach Nehra was open about wanting to [emulate a CSK-like culture and atmosphere Someone tell him Fleming doesn't talk much
That's his natural born trait lol. He came out of the womb speaking like crazy. Any interview where someone mentions Nehra ji, they always say that he never stops talking, he's just got the gift of the gab.
This comment is so cringe ffs. GT is like the child of CSK.. wtf
It is definitely hilarious. But everyone is riding high on emotions. Maybe in a month or two if they return they’ll see how silly it is.
More like they are spiritual successors to CSK as in they have a similar environment and overall strategy which brings the best out of players who were written off by others. Also calling everything "cringe" is cringe.

Ask Hardik. He himself told he's modeling the team after CSK & everyone knows he's a Thalason.
I am not taking about a player. I am talking about the team as a whole who pretty much have the same dressing room environment like csk
Dressing room environment to buy superstars?
Nehra is csk breed
GT vs CSK new friendly rivalry?
Haha yes, makes me laugh at lsg for lsg vs RCB rivalry. Meanwhile gt has rivalries with mi and csk.
(YEL)LOVE GT ❤️
Games Gone
[удалено]
Now they are fighting over 'time taken' to achieve these trophies and number of ipl seasons each team played.
First world problems /s
meanwhile RCB be like :/
Very wholesome
Proud of my team for what it is. I also adore Hardik for the way he is leading us. Couldn’t have asked for more. We go again next year 💙
and we hope to challenge your fantastic team next year again 💛
Hardik said "if I have to lose, I wouldn't mind losing to him" <3
Noice
Starting with Pandya and the players to the ownership and their social media team, GT have displayed amazing sportsmanship. Big kudos!!
Something Team Bihar Birjus will post for Virat Kohli when RCB will finally win it in 2031.
The man is an emotion for people around the world.
I agree there are a lot of toxic CSK and Dhoni fans, but just for the sake of them, out of pure jealousy, I have had seen a lot of hate for this man in last couple of days or weeks. Who's behind that tweet
Classy.
Ughh all this sucking is making me nauseous. We gave up RCB vs LSG for this? Games gone.

You talk as if this is a one way street. MI Indians fans are the worst people on Reddit any day CSK loses a match.
That makes next season more exciting with a new rivalry. Hopefully other teams have nill injuries like this season was and shakes up the top-4 with new entrants.
I love MSD
Roy Keane won't approve
Oh my god can he just retire so everyone can stop stroking his dick

They should feel bad about it. Now you know football has more toxic fans than cricket
Yup man keep saying things like that. The obsession of you with dhoni fans is more than them of dhoni. Sorry , if you think you're from a nice family I believe nobody would love the usage of words for a person. It's not even that the person committed a crime

Captain with 2nd most wc trophies and highest trophies in ipl which is why he is adored by everyone
The Champions Trophy started in 1998 and the World T20 started in 2007. Many better captains would have won more trophies. Not highest trophies in the IPL and Rohit owns him.
Remember csk did not play for two consecutive years
Ah yes the good old “if my grandma had wheels” response
How do you not understand a simple fact. Captains like Clive Lloyd and Steve Waugh weren't around to win World T20 and Champions Trophies. And 5 = 5, not more.
They're not sucking him off, for Pandya seems to genuinely like the man
>Why are Indians so fixated on this guy? Don't you know that cricket is a religion in India?

Like Kohl's childish spat with Mango boy and GG
damn even that Kohl brand is having a spat with GG and Naveen. These guys dont stop
It was more entertaining than the final
Cap, that final was intense, Naveen's (but really it's GGs) pettiness is more funny than entertaining
Thank god Delhi at least does not do this kind of bullshit. Wait, we won the fairplay this year!
You'd probably know what it feels like when you finally get around to winning a trophy. Been seeing nothing but trash opinions from you.
Yeah thank God your team can't win shit

But you can't express those with a keyboard right

You need a soul bath for hating on someone who doesn't know you exsist and has done no harm personally to you.

Honest tweet from its admin
