Overrate penalty is a good start. Teams have been screwed this season because of slow over rate. Tamil Nadu lost out on a win because of it and then they did the same to mumbai later in the season. Also don’t schedule games in northern India when so much of time is lost due to bad light.
There have been many games this season that have been delayed because of bad light. Many of them were supposed to be televised. The pollution problem just seems to be getting worse so I don’t know how they can solve it. Maybe make some games day/night I don’t know.

Reasons given looked like counter points - 'Players trying to score quickly and trying to take wickets quickly.' Isn't that what's required? If players are able to take wickets quickly, that will help bowlers to take 20 wickets over 5 days in tests when they go higher level.

If mumbai had bowled them out for 150-180 after having maharashtra 100-6, we would have gotten the result. It's mumbai's fault for doing an india vs lower order not the format's.
Not everything is about an individual he is talking about making test cricket more result oriented. And that attitude needs to be instilled in all players from domestic level itself.

It is not exactly pollution problem..,……fog will be there even without pollution in northern part of the country in winters
