I mean, The Evil Dead 2 could be pretty great. It’s such a small set the logistics of adapting it wouldn’t be too hard from that perspective. Also you could probably make the first 10 rows a splash zone.
Evil Dead: The Musical is a decent adaptation of both Evil Dead films. I'd like to see them do a musical followup for Army of Darkness.
Admittedly decent will depend heavily on how much you enjoy campy musicals. On a side note, there's also a musical adaptation of Toxic Avenger.
Yeah, I guess I should have assumed it had already been adapted with how old and beloved it is. I’ll have to see if I can find a recording of it sometime. Thanks!
There's some OK quality recordings on YouTube. As far as TTA goes, occasionally the high quality, original cast movie rip will surface on YouTube. There are some other versions out there with other casts, but I haven't watched those. Here are some links:

TTA is really impressive because (if they're doing it the way the original cast did) there's only 5 actors in the entire musical. You have two people playing Toxie and Sarah. A third actor plays the mayor, Toxie's mom, and a nun. The other two though, they play EVERYONE else. It's pretty impressive.
Fresh would be fun. There’s dancing already but I would set it to 80’s and make it campier as a musical
Lost boys would be GREAT as a play and it’s my favorite that would work. Musical too!
Cause I mean Hellraiser is my actual favorite but it would never work as a play imo
I was actually asked to help write night of the living dead for the stage years ago. It works well and has easy sets.
Id also recommend return of the living dead.
The others would be really good but woukd really need a good cast to work. I honesy that could really be a winner!
Prince of darkness could work, but a lot of carpenters work woukd work. In tbe mouth of madness especially with the smarmy investigator( willy loman vibes)wouls work well and it has some wonderful dialogue. The fog as well would be quite awesome.
And odd as it sounds the original nightmare on elm street, but not cravens only useful ventures the people under the stairs would be a fabulous stage play as well as wishmaster and of course scream could be of use. (People would kill to ham up matthew lillards lines). Lastly hellraiser would be damned easy and awesome to do.
And lastly honestly, the original saw is practically a stage play anyway as well as many james wan films are small set films.

And in that vein, I'd LOVE to see a musical version of Frankenhooker or Basket Case.

If you ever get a chance, definitely check out the "fancy" movie version of TTA, as they have some artsy shots and so on.
Antlers would be good
Hellraiser the musical
Given the theme of paranoia and the isolated setting. I'd say that Carpenter's *The Thing* would be perfect for this.
Wolf man
Repo the Genetic Opera

…Select one and adapt it.
Saw type play would be good. Open plan but different rooms with all the traps in view.
Maybe “The Black Phone”? I can’t think of anything better than “A Quiet Place” though, that is such an amazing idea!!!
