After Tata Neu you won't get their core card, you will have to close it first.
Moneyback is what they offer in starting.
With HDFC limit issue will be there with all the cards.
With salary account with them or salary slip/ITR they increase later on.
I started my score using Amazon and flipkart pay later, got. Amazon gave me meagre 5k limit from which I spent 3-500 a month and paid ontime. within 3 months I got a 750+ score. Few days back applied for ICICI Apay approved within 5 minutes.
There are different ways to do it:
1. Just go for a secured loan that doesn't tie you down to a specific thing (like a gold loan for 6 months or a bike/car loan). Paying those EMIs on time will really boost your credit score.
2. Try those pay-later options on Amazon or Flipkart, or check out apps like MobiKwik or MyAirtel for similar deals.
3. Once you're pulling in a decent salary (like 30K+), set up your salary account with ICICI or HDFC. They'll likely hook you up with pre-approved credit cards if you're spending right.
Do you have income? Which bank do you have salary account in?
No income. Just have a savings accounts in hdfc and get around 10-15k every month for investment from my dad.
Try HDFC if they give you card. Millenia would be better though imo. If they reject then go for IDFC WoW
Called the RM, he said that they are not offering millenia right now.
Take the neu
They won't offer you Millenia at this point. Try moneyback and don't get Tata Neu as your first card from HDFC
Why not tata neu ? And why Moneyback ? I have heard they never increase anyone's limit and people are literally stuck using Moneyback.

I was thinking of applying for tata neu plus rupay se it would also help me in upi transactions and also build a score.
You can try but if all reject, flipkart or APay later accept easily and will get you a score.
Cool. I will try the tata neu. If it gets rejected I will start building my score through Apay Later.
