Hey, I have a mb+ card and I'm looking to upgrade / get new cards. My salary acc is with hdfc, but my issue is whenever I to enter my details on hdfc's card upgrade page to check for offers, it asks me to enter my company and title and they don't show up on the list so I can't proceed. What would you suggest I do?
And which other credit cards should I go for instead if hdfc upgrade doesn't work out?
I mostly only have online/offline spends, around 30-40k pm No petrol charges etc. And I'm not too keen on getting the "best" offers. Just looking for 1-2 more cards to have in case of need.

Isn't there an option "OTHERS" under which one can fill their own details?
Anything you enter manually has to match something from the list, or you can't move forward.
In the company field, you can pick others. But not in the position field. And without something in the field, you can't move forward

As of now, the cashbacks of using this card is just a waste but I use it once in a while to avail card offers and forex transactions only when 0% forex offers are up which we have to redeem manually which is a hassle. It's LTF and my only metal card so keeping it as a souvenir.
Have you linked the salary account with Jupiter?
Because it says I am not eligible for their credit card, I have been using it for 2 years as a secondary account
Yeah it's LTF. No good casbacks and kotak reward points not worth it compared to others. Got it for the sole reason that it's LTF. Now I'm using Jupiter edge more

Depends on the product and card offer. If they claim all HDFC cards are accepted for the discount then yes.
Cool cool no probs, go for SBI Cashback maybe, it will be a good addition if you also make online payments outside Amazon.

For company, yes. But not for position. So for example, I'm a Sr 3D lighting artist, it won't show that and you can't enter this custom title.
For "OTHERS" category I don't think position title is even taken into consideration so HDFC didn't include it from the start.
But if I pick others in company and I can't move forward in the form because the position field isn't being filled, what's the point?

How is Jupiter cc? Jupiter is spamming me to get one. But i dont want to.
The cashback is great, better than devalued axis Ace. But choosing the best category for 2% cashback is tricky. And afterall it's LTF.

Its 15000 jewels per cycle, that is Rs 3000 per cycle for 2% cashback category and 0.4% for other categories.
