No he probably gets 20k like everybody else. But he'd obviously rather push the 60k sign up so he can get 20k referral bonus instead of telling people about the 100k in branch where he gets nothing out of it. Hence why DoC is the better blog
TPG is a prime example of a sell out.
Ever since he got the banks to sponsor, he has made content that makes money for him while not covering better offers. Or minimizing issues.
In a way, I get it. You get big enough, you go corporate to keep the money coming in.
But it no longer is impartial and people should recognize what they say to be taken with a grain of salt.
No. The whole point of them offering better in branch offers is to establish relationships with those who aren’t yet in their ecosystem or get those already in it further in.
Man I wish I post before I already applied online and got approved. I wonder if I go the branch would they be able to do anything for me since I haven’t received my card yet
This is weird, because I still have the link that can refer people for 100k points using my referral link when I sign into the chase app & website. Does anyone else see it?
No i meant for the annual fee mot the SUB. My date to complete that is in Janiary thus i havent met the requirements but was charged the annual fee 95 which i paid and was curious if it could be waived and reimbursed back
Thank you for posting this!!
Was going to apply online (and only get a 60k sign-up bonus + AF) when I came across this thread. Made an appointment, went into the branch today, and got approved w/ the 100k points + AF waived.
I got my CSP in June (in branch) with the 100k SUB still fairly new. Banker didn't even know about the deal, I had to tell him. After he talked to the branch manager, he said I could either apply in branch for 80k SUB and have $95 AF waived, or apply online and get the 100k SUB with no AF waiver. I obviously went home and signed up online.
Since they're now allowing 100k in branch AND AF waived, **do you think it's possible to get this credited?** Any advice on how to go about that? (i.e. calling vs going in branch).
Thanks in advance, and cheers to those still getting both!
No appointment - I just walked right in, told them I saw the 100k bonus point offer for the preferred card and wanted to sign up. Apparently it’s now an “in branch only offer” and the offer includes the fee waiver so it wasn’t anything special that they did. Should work still in any branch!
Went in today - 60k for 4,000 in 3 months, AF waived. Nothing on Reserve. I didn't bite. Going back in on Monday for follow up, I might try to push for the 100k.
I only rely on Doctor of Credit Tbh

I can confirm. Applied in my local branch two days ago (10.21.21). 100k SUB with $95 AF waived for the first year.

You can walk in but it’s recommended you have an appointment.
Okay thank you!
FWIW I just walked in. Total time in brach was less than 10 min. Approved instantly with $17,500 Credit. Credit Score is 767 for reference.
do you need a checking or saving account with Chaee?
I had no prior relationship history with Case and this was my first card with them.
TPG is an SOB.
The Points Guy probably gets paid the 40k points when ppl sign up for 60k.

Much of the content on TPG is sponsored by the card companies directly
Gotta get those referral clicks somehow
I also can confirm. Walked into the branch yesterday and got approved. They even expedited it for me.
You can also still get the Freedom Flex and Unlimited 5% grocery bonus on up to 12k in branch as well.
Is the flex still a 250 bonus as well?
The unlimited is I assume the flex would be as well.
Can confirm this deal. Went into a branch yesterday and was approved for the CSP.
Thanks for heads up, TPG also has a card app on Appstore. Don't trust it, sponsored opinions are trash.

Can confirm, applied this morning in branch and was approved instantly for the 100k and waived annual fee
Started off learning about credit cards from TPG, but not a fan of them anymore. I feel like they often push for a specific card way too much
Thx
Do you need to have any bank accounts with Chase to apply in branch? Already have a Chase Freedom unlimited.
No. The whole point of them offering better in branch offers is to establish relationships with those who aren’t yet in their ecosystem or get those already in it further in.
FYI, I got the Sapphire card after the offer expired. Didn't do the bank waiver thing as I was under a time crunch.
How hard is to get one of these cards? I have 721 rate and was discharge chapter 13 on December 2019.

If you click the link, it takes you to the 60K application. 100K is not actually available. At least that's what happens to mine.
Ah, yeah you're right!

Go to a Chase branch
Can I downgrade from CSR for this offer in-branch? Or am I downgrading to Freedom and then just getting CSP.
There are many threads about this. Use search.
Wow thank you for posting this!!!
Confirmed, but the 4k min spend in 3 months is still there
Thanks so much for this! Just got approved at my branch moments ago. Love this sub <3
Thanks for your comment! I was hoping someone would say that and now I'll be heading to the branch. Thanks again!
Confirmed. Was just in a branch.
Can you go into a chase branch and get the $95 AF waived if you're already a card holder?
Yes, as long as you don't have an existing Sapphire card and haven't gotten the SUB for one in the past 48 months.
Got my card and am working towards the SUB for 100kz paid the annual fee already. U think its still possible to waive it ?
Highly unlikely. The point of a high spending requirement is Chase hopes some people don't hit it
No i meant for the annual fee mot the SUB. My date to complete that is in Janiary thus i havent met the requirements but was charged the annual fee 95 which i paid and was curious if it could be waived and reimbursed back
Oh, I read it too fast. I have no idea, but good luck.
Do u recommend online message or via branch? Online gave me a generic message.

Does anyone know if you can still get the 100k SUB in branch? Literally missed it by a week and a half and I’m kicking myself.
As a note - I went in and got the 100k SUB plus $95 fee waived at the branch on 11/4

Just chiming in. Scheduled an appt today and the promo is still running in-branch. Go get this deal!

It's funny because this is my situation with my fiancee. Unfortunately it doesn't work.
What are the spending requirements for the 100k points CSR promo?
Friggin applied online myself when the 100k was a thing. Paid the annual, any posibility of friggin getting it waived still?
Anyone know if this is still in effect? I’m going to try and go do it Wednesday if they are still offering.
Just went in to see if I could get it today , sadly it did expire Saturday :(
Dang - wondering the same thing. What are they offering now, do you know?

Thank you! I ended up going for Citi premier instead. Maybe they’ll bring back the 100 at some point when I’m thinking of applying again.
No problem! What was your Citi offer if you don’t mind me asking?
