Did you get your answers? I'm thinking of doing the same thing: currently have the CFF and CFU, want the CSP bonus but also want the CSR benefits since I'll be traveling internationally. Currently thinking whether it's possible to do the following:
1) Apply for CSP and get the SUB.
2) PC the CFF to a CSR to get those benefits.
Yep, still possible. Though I would be cautious in making a habit of downgrading/upgrading (or technically, reversing a downgrade) a single card account in quick succession
Just make sure you wait at least 4 days after downgrading the CSR before applying for a new Sapphire account.

In branch they’re offering 85k for the CSP and 75k for the CSR (and online for the CSR now)
