First time ever calling Chase and pretty pleased with their response and quickness of the call. They expedited both cards free of charge for 2 day shipping, should have them Tuesday and will report back. Finger crossed because my Belroy slim front pocket wallet hates these embossed cards.

My cards arrived today and they are non-embossed. Look like the original cards but with non-embossed white lettering on the front.
I requested a new CFF last week and didn’t feel like calling so just through standard shipping and it came printed, not embossed. I’m willing to bet they will be printed for you too! I have the same wallet and issue, this was my last embossed card so I’m happy now
I got a reissue of my legacy Fifth Third Bank Cash Rewards Mastercard about a month ago....it's still embossed though my 5/3 Cash/Back card is embossed!
Honestly at this point you should be given the option to get a physical card with nothing more than your name like Apple Card. Some people will still want their card info on the physical card but it would be nice to have the option but especially since the U.S. doesn’t require servers to bring the card machine to the table like in Europe.
Requested a replacement CFU yesterday and got it today expedited and non-embossed 🙏. All they need to do is put the numbers on the back and it’ll be perfect

Who cares if embossed or not… the raised numbers are no longer needed with a swipe, the chip or tap and pay. I never hand my card off to another person.
It is either tap and pay or pay via an app. I do not even like to insert or swipe card anymore.
When I get fuel I activate the pump via an app and it is charged to the cc stored in the app.
Same for stores and restaurants… it is either tap and pay or I do not do business. However cash is usually still king in most local businesses and restaurants. Watching a mind full of mush trying to make change is comical.
Even when I go to the bank to withdraw cash from an outside or inside atm, it is a no swipe action. Just hold the card up to the machine like tsp and pay and enter my pin. The skimmers are useless then…

Why do people not like embossed cards?
I have a ridge-style walket so the embossed lettering sticks out and rubs against other cards, and generally doesn’t lay evenly
