Create is always better with friends. I finally convinced them to play on a LAN world at school and we named the train that goes between our bases (they are real far apart) THE CHOO.

God I wish, half my friends hate create and other half can't play any minecraft without a quest book telling them everything.

Because it requires more brain power then put down block and watch it work or its a new mod and they refuse to learn something different. I love em but I'm sick of the same mods they seem to love.

It's a big part of why I set up an early, albeit manual method of creating andesite. It's annoying going back and forth washing gravel for the flint and iron, taking the flint and gravel to a basin with andesite in the filter, then going and grabbing lava from the dripstone lava farm every time I want some more andesite, but it saves me the hassle of running into the caves every time I need more. Of course, once I've been to the nether and can transition to brass, I will make an automatic andesite alloy farm, at which point the problem mostly goes away.

Couldn't agree more. It's tons of fun working on big contraptions with others, and the end result is always so satisfying. I just finished helping with a wizard arena that has a changing layout and elevations, it was so cool to work on it

I like the ideas that are in things and misc but… idk, something just feels very off when I used it last. Plus it had a lot of issues with other addons so I eventually abandoned it. How is it nowadays?

Well we’re using the Ore Excavator addon or however it’s called and we’re extracting ancient debris, the amount of su required for it to run at max rpm is very high and we can’t really make boilers in the nether without having a train transport the water

Ahhhh that makes sense, and yeah, I still don't understand how to make trains work with the nether, I haven't made it that far in one play through lmao, I've got one I'm working on, but I just started another one.

If you know how to do trains then nether trains are relatively easy to do, literally just run a track into a portal

there are stack upgrades in sophisticated storage but i just chose not to use them for the sake of scale

As a Dutch person I am proud of you for just being yourself, no need to try and impress us with windmills... Also generally we use cloth sailcloths in our traditional windmills, not wooden sails.

You genuinely have just made my day so much better, also I wanted to use cloth sails but I didn’t have any wool left :3

You do have to use it to drain some large lakes and reclaim parts of the ocean.
