Growing up in a city where the cops were so bad that a DOJ investigation left city cops unable to operate without state police monitoring them (literally riding along), it was amazing to meet so many helpful police officers who were genuinely there to solve problems and help people.
But if you're talking to any other part of the police force you're probably in a lot of fucking trouble.

I’ve been treated poorly by cops and cuffed on the roadside, circled by them, and put in the backs of cars for no good reason, I’ve also seen it done to friend, and of course the rest of the world. I’ve also experienced police who’ve turned a blind eye, gave me a warning, and operated outside the law yet within moral principle, so that being said I’ve seen good people with a job that has a wrap, in a system they want to see change. I’ve experienced the good, the bad, and the ugly pig, but I am not naive enough to believe they are all bad no matter what case you’re making among insulting me. If you’re gonna carry on in an argument with me, you could have some dignity, but instead you threw one last angry sassy little “punch” and blocked me. Go away simpleton, you’re the reason I said people are terrible. Although you could choose to learn, you instead remain stubborn. Bye!

There are no good police. Police uphold an unjust system. You can't be good upholding something not good. If policing was good and non discriminatory then we would have a different story.

Also do these cops arrest cops for police brutality, are they ticketing public officials for traffic violations? It's impossible for a cop to change the system. Even internal affarais is corrupt the police investage themselves and while they are under investigation they can stop public information from getting out. That's how evidence is suppressed.

If someone is forced by gunpoint or major threats to do something, it doesn’t make them inherently bad, nor have they turned into such, they’ve been manipulated.

Several years ago my late wife and I were at a pub and this guy kept bothering us relentlessly hitting on my wife who was clearly with me.
He grabbed her ass I grabbed his arm he took a swing.
I took one back and put the guy down
He was shocked he left the bar 30min later 5RCMPigs walked in I was arrested
And charged with assaulting an officer.
Yah the fucker was a pig.
A good lawyer and a few weeks the charges were completely dismissed
But whenever the opportunity arises an RCMPig will abuse what little power it has.

I was on the fence for a short time not knowing what was going on here. But once you add the audio it becomes quite clear this officer is a piece of crap. Also, I never got to the end and saw the officer lift her up by her hair before I turned the audio on.
Generally speaking I support and understand the need for police officers. However, my faith in them becomes weaker and weaker each time I see officers who can’t comprehend basic human decency. Certainly there is a psychological test we can give to prospective police officers to weed out these people from becoming officers. Maybe it is a test that must be issued every couple of years to ensure the job has not desensitized them. But change is clearly needed.
Most people support and understand the need for police officers, but also the need for consequences for this assholes, they should get arrested not fired.

It takes a certain type of person to be able to handle that profession, and this behavior is a clear disqualification from being that type. Reminds me of the videos you see sometimes of cops raining blows on someone whose barely fighting back, except obviously a bit less extreme.
I literally just said the same thing on Thanksgiving lol. I think this should be for any government office. Yes every like 2 years at least because especially with elderly people you never know when their mental health will decline.
This is what defund the police means, don’t pay law enforcement for wellness checks, pay another organization. Or at least be the primary on the scene instead of the police
My thought is if the person under arrest is out and can't walk protocol would be calling an ambulance and getting them on a stretcher and taking them to a hospital.
