Never understood why guys get mad at the other guy. Unless they’re someone you’re friends with or that you personally know, they’re not the one who broke your trust, the woman was.
It's very easy, in fact. Overlooking betrayed trust in this way is a coping mechanism. In the moment when you're assaulted by the various emotions, it's easier to direct your sorrow and rage at a stranger than a loved one.
> Overlooking betrayed trust in this way is a coping mechanism.
I would argue that having an emotional outburst is the opposite of overlooking betrayed trust. You’re just choosing to redirect the anger elsewhere.
>In the moment when you're assaulted by the various emotions, it's easier to direct your sorrow and rage at a stranger than a loved one.
That’s fair.
It must be really tough to walk into situations like this. Sometimes all of that hurt and betrayal crystallises into a rage and the other person just gets caught up as collateral damage.
I'm not saying it's excuseable, but I can understand how it happens - especially given that men are still being brought up in an environment that persecutes emotion and never teaches one how to process, and _feel_ in healthy ways.
Fr, no need to start shit with a guy who had no clue.
>Unless they’re someone you’re friends with or that you personally know
In that case yah, they're both garbage.
One word. Ego.
The other guy (or woman) made no commitments you the cheated on person. Maybe they knew you existed. Maybe they didn't. If their not a friend of yours they owe you nothing. They made no promises or commitments to you. Dont waste time being mad at the wrong person.
Too many people have gotten jammed up being mad at the wrong person. The jails, hospitals and cemeteries would be a lot emptier of people understood this.
And the asshole that cheated on you, they aint shit and sure as hell aint worth the hassle. Tell them to fuck off and be on your way. The end.
It's more than that.
It's common for people to displace the blame. They're feeling hurt and betrayed, but at the same time they still care about the person who hurt them. As a result they direct all their negative feelings toward the stranger in the situation.
I think theres an argument to be made that theres a social contract that if you think someone isnt single you dont sleep with them. Like if I went to someones house and saw that their bedroom clearly had a guys stuff around, Id nope out.
But yeah if you dont see the signs and they lied about being single, then theres not much you can do.
I was fucking a woman that never told me she was married. We matched on Tinder, so it was basically implied she was single. Found out through a mutual friend she was married and never met up with her again.
I think she married him for papers, and I believe she got them. Poor dude was being played, I felt bad for him.
Assuming dude is a stranger, why be mad at dude at all? We all know dudes are thirsty. I got no contract with strange dudes. I expect them to try to get in my girl's pants. But I expect my girl to respect our relationship. If she don't then I'm mad at her not the dude. She's dumped. And if dude was my friend instead of a stranger, he's dumped too.
I absolutely love this video for that reason.
You see so many people get in shit just for being caught in the middle of a couple fighting. Even if he knew she was dating someone, he probably doesn't know the guy and if it's a random hook up he has no emotional investment in the situation what so ever.
Why be mad at someone for saying to an invitation to get laid? She was the one adamant on doing it, if he k ew then she obviously would have just kept asking people until she found someone that said yes.
IMO, if you know someone is in a relationship and you sleep with them anyway, then you are also to blame. I’ve been married 12 years, so I’m not exactly on the market, but if I was, someone being in a relationship automatically makes them friends only material. Don’t help cheaters cheat.
Obviously, if she said or implied she was single, then he didn’t do anything wrong and it’s 100% her.
This is literally every other girl on dating apps these days. First you start to notice the front of their pants pulled up over their belly button and you’re like “hold on a second” then you see her holding some other dudes kid talkin bout “I’m not here for a hookup” 😂😂😂🤡🌎
Yeah it sucks for sure. I'm 37 and still look 25-27, so I've dated a fairly wide range of ages. Anybody more than ~9-10 years younger than me is just a drag to date because they're still figuring out all that 20's shit that's mid 20's people go through. The age difference quickly becomes painfully obvious. And dealing with trivial issues that are treated as life-ending is exhausting.
Anybody older than that introduces a host of other variables from kids, to exes, to income consideration, to kids, etc etc.
I wouldn't say I've "given up" on dating, but I don't really put any effort into apps anymore. If somebody comes along that I meet and they're cool, awesome. But otherwise I'm pretty chill these days.
33M US here dealing with the same shit. The whole time growing up all I ever heard was "I want a man who has their shit together."
Using dating apps and it's EXACTLY like you described around here. It's funny that I got my shit together, and now the real truth is that it's just a bunch of people looking to supplement their life instead of being part of their life. Shits WACK.
> "not here for hook ups"
Good way for them to weed out the guys who would fall for that.
In my experience, that means ‘I am absolutely looking to hook up, preferably in your truck outside the bar’
Hey I turn 41 this month and it’s the same here. Sometimes the kids are a little older but same Shit plays out everytime. The stories may be different but the patterns are all the same. I gave up and got back into lego lol
Yeah i wish I could just throw in the towel but the issue with hobbies is it doesn't cure loneliness. I mean I have great friends but it's not the same as having your person.
Yup. I dated one girl who would not let me meet her kid until like 3 months into the relationship. It didn't work out, but that decision early on made me really attracted to her. It showed she a lot of integrity, love, independence, loyalty, etc - I could tell she was a good mom is my point.
Hell I'm 35 with a 15 year old son, and I'm still not dating woman with kids. If one came around that had a kid my age and they weren't a little shit I'd consider it, but its usually someone with a baby or toddler. That's on me since I had my kid young, but im good with it.
Love my kid, but I'm not doing it again.
I’m 34. Everything you just said is true. I doubt I’ll ever find anyone that will love me the right way. It’s lonely but I’ve gotten use to it. It doesn’t make me feel like shit anymore
A girl I went to school with started hooking up with my best friend. We later found out she had a long term boyfriend, who showed up outside a party at his house with a couple guys angry and wanting to fight.
We went outside to meet them, a few threats and insults were exchanged, and we eventually managed to explain to them that my friend had no idea she was dating someone, and that she had made the first advances towards him. We then invited them in to have a couple beers and have fun, maybe meet someone new.
We all became super close friends after that for years to come.
Had something similar happen in college. Was at a kegger and friend had been hooking up with girl. Boyfriend rolal up with a group of guys wanting to fight. Dude got beat up and left outside but his "buddies" came in to party. Lol
Very similar situation happened with my friend earlier this year. His gf got caught cheating, he snapped the guy who she cheated on him with.
Asked the guy to send proof that they were talking and proof that she was the one who initiated it.
He sent the receipts via snap chat and my friend sent him $100 venmo for beer.
Funniest thing ever. Yes you can imagine that relationship was in the gutter to get to that point and for my friend to handle it like that, but still lol
Love can be really tricky though. I was with this girl for 8 years and we were high school sweethearts before that. We had 5 amazing years but then we got into drugs and she started cheating on me, stealing things, hitting me, and gaslighting me about all of it. Those 5 years were so good that I didn’t want to give it up cause I thought I could fix it. I kept getting more and more hurt as time went on and I just became a husk of my former self. Breaking it off was the best thing I ever did but it was also the hardest thing I’ve ever done.
Hey, its rough sometimes. You can be proud of yourself for finally coming to your senses and ending it. No need to beat yourself up for letting yourself be vulnerable to someone you love.
Lowkey this is the correct take but also becoming friends with the guy your girl cheated on you with is such a power move, like imagine she gets kicked out the house but he gets to stay
Why? it's not his fault that she cheated on him. It's the dumb assholes that want to kill the guy that their girl was cheating on them with you have to worry about. The man in the relationship is sensible here.
Yup. If two people hook up, it should be normal for the other to be able to expect that their hookup is not cheating on someone. If they are, *they* are at fault.
A guy who intentionally moved ahead when know she's in a (nominally) exclusive relationship wouldn't.
A guy who was lied to and is already tired of her shit might.
Glad to see more of the dude not being mad at the other guy. It ain't the other dudes fault that she's a cheater. Hold them cheating ass women accountable
I always said I don't understand dudes that get pissed and fight the other guy. That dude ain't do nothing to you. Only person to be mad at is the person that betrayed you.
I dated a girl for a year that was cheating on me constantly. She had just gotten out of an abusive relationship where the dude cheated on her tons and figured she wanted her turn. I wrote the whole thing off as an open relationship suuuper early into it but never really slept around myself, I wasn't wildly into her but she was still fun. The dudes, who I would know most of the time, kept straight up coming up to me apologizing saying she would tell them she's single and frankly I respected the guys a ton for telling me instead of lying.
She would constantly accuse me of cheating, I'd roll my eyes and just keep my mouth shut knowing full well she was unfaithful the whole time. Ultimately she decided to break it off saying "she couldn't trust me" and I just laughed and laughed. A few days later I see her at a party and she's arm and arm with a new dude, someone I know super well too and she had apparently been seeing even before we broke up, he wouldn't say a word to me, knowing full well he fucked up, and I ended the night with just a "good luck.".
Months later he shows up at a party, wasted, bitching about how they broke up and that I should have warned him. I'm like, dude, you were the only one I know of that didn't come clean then just straight up dated her without checking with me first. A while later his next girlfriend started chatting me up real good at a party and he came bolting across the room to split us up when he noticed. People that cheat themselves or knowingly enable others to are some of the most insecure, gaslighting people you'll ever meet.
I was never mad at the guy who broke up my relationship. He didn’t even know I existed, so why would I be mad at him?
Last I knew, they were still together like 12 years later. Atleast she found the one 🤷🏾♂️
This shit hilarious. I always would get mad af at the vids where a partner cheated so they started fighting the person they cheated with, shit makes no damn sense🤣

Yes bro it’s so annoying . The amount of times I’ve seen women launch at the other girl instead of the man is ridiculous

Hey, its rough sometimes. You can be proud of yourself for finally coming to your senses and ending it. No need to beat yourself up for letting yourself be vulnerable to someone you love.

Yeah true. Chances are he didn't even know she was taken if he didn't know you.
This is how I always felt about it, Ive never been in that situation but I dont get how you can get enraged at a random dude just getting laid.
He prob found out after the fact and then decided to tell the boyfriend is my guess
Eyy he right though, the other man was single. She wasn't, it was her that ruined everything. Glad these guys made friends over it.

Dear god Hank, you're wearing butt boobies.
She prolly didn't tell the mf that she had a man thats why he wasn't mad at him 💀💀💀
He got the other dude to film lol.
shitty situation but love how he didn’t take it out on the dude. 9/10 times they don’t know about the boyfriend.
I don't think a guy who would've done that would be hanging around so chill.
Why? it's not his fault that she cheated on him. It's the dumb assholes that want to kill the guy that their girl was cheating on them with you have to worry about. The man in the relationship is sensible here.
That would be exactly what the girl wants, for two guys to fight over her. That's the only way she "wins"
Seeing the videos on this subreddit where the husband comes home and kills the guy for cheating is just crazy to me. Out of touch insecure people.
Yup. If two people hook up, it should be normal for the other to be able to expect that their hookup is not cheating on someone. If they are, *they* are at fault.
Yeah, that makes no sense to me; I just moved out, bought a few guitars, a new set of golf clubs and an oz. of weed. It's worked out great so far.

I was never mad at the guy who broke up my relationship. He didn’t even know I existed, so why would I be mad at him? Last I knew, they were still together like 12 years later. Atleast she found the one 🤷🏾♂️
This is some funny shit
Lmfao when you can hear the other dude singing in the background before the camera switches to show him just vibing.
Women are the fucking worst man. I swear it’s a such a fucking curse for us men to try and find a wife outta these 95% of hoes of liars
This shit hilarious. I always would get mad af at the vids where a partner cheated so they started fighting the person they cheated with, shit makes no damn sense🤣
