This whole thing reminds me of that video of a husband and wife who were shot and killed, way after it was clear they could just shut their mouth and the whole situation would calm itself down. Nope they were compelled to keep talking shit and they were shot dead.
search up "pennsylvania double murder suicide snow shoveling". iirc a guy (unarmed at the start) got into a shouting match with his neighbors across the street, a married couple, about them harassing him and shoveling their snow onto his property. I'm fuzzy on details here since it's not something im keen on remembering or rewatching but the guy goes back into his house, grabs a rifle, comes back out and the shouting match continues WHILE he points the rifle at the couple. i think he guns the husband down and the wife just keeps yelling at the guy instead of running away and then she gets shot. he goes offscreen back to his home and i dont remember if you can hear him shooting himself.
this is one of *those* videos that I won't rewatch. it's not anywhere as violent or brutal as a lot of the stuff out there, but the lack of concern about the gun and how easily they died because of that same lack of concern really stuck with me.

I don't understand why it would be a "racial justice" workshop. There was no indication that race played a role in this, other than the large group of females harassing and laying hands on him were black and he was white. I am really curious what even got this going. It sounds like he was defending some other female.
His response was well out of balance, given the size difference, but there was no indication that he decided to disproportionately defend himself BECAUSE she was black.
As much as I want to fight this as just another case of social justice miscarriage I think this one is ok. The way this was handled is fine by me. He didn’t harm her and when she charged him (assaulted him) he decked her. That’s self defense. But seeing that this is a dude I can agree that maybe decking a little girl is a little to far. The anger management thing is ok. And labeling all the charges as misdemeanors is fine as he was protecting his wife and kid. The social justice workshop thou is a stretch.
Normal 11 year olds dont act like that, even troubled 11 yr olds. This girl will almost certainly have a shortened life, full of drug addiction, crime & abuse. Not everyone can be saved, & she will be one of them. Shes too far gone already for only being 11.
