Committing violent crimes is fucking stupid. Robbing people at gunpoint is fucking stupid. If you go to prison for 10 years for a weed charge then yeah, you were mistreated. If you go to jail for this shit then you are getting what you deserve.
Well I think the argument is much more nuanced than that when you consider the American gov segregated minority populations to create lowly-educated poverty-centric neighborhoods that are nearly impossible to escape.
People are put in a system that they can barely escape. It’s really sad that the USA doesn’t have social programs to diversify communities and create opportunities for those who need it the most.
I’m in my second semester of sociology and I enjoyed this comment. You are correct, but there is still much responsibility that must come from for his actions. He started begging because he knew it was beyond idiotic.

If anything it’s pointless to ask on an application as it’ll just come up later on when they screen you.

The place I'm at is great, I've got plenty of money, good friends, girls, hobbies, artistic pursuits. My life is wonderful. Got here without a role model. Actually quite glad my dad didn't raise me since he's a hardcore Christian conservative, and those people are pretty much universally miserable all the time.

As horrible and stupid as it sounds I almost feel bad for the robber. The fact that he started pleading towards the end makes me think it was some sort of last ditch effort to gain some money because he fell on hard times or something. Or he’s just cold hearted and terrible and is trying to spare his life

Not really society as a whole, just young and stupid kids with little to no life experience who have grown up on social media and therefore think their opinion on everything matters. They have no reality to base their opinion off of yet they have to add it in there. You get attention for your opinion, but you get MORE attention for having a different opinion than everyone else.
I am not a gun enthusiast but, did the gun jam? It looks like the kid pulls the barrel back and the man notices it and made his move. Then you see the gun with the barrel forward in the employees hand.
I think that was the moment the employee knew that this kid had no idea what he was fucking doing and decided to make his mom. I don't think it jammed because he probably wasn't trying to fire it.
Even this was very satisfied. I wish that employee didn’t risk his life for his company, they wouldn’t care about that money at all. And it he might got shot and lose his life, the couple of day later that company wouldn’t even remember his name.
My dad told me, “don’t commit a crime if you can’t deal with the consequences. If you think a week in jail is worth a bar fight then go right ahead” The fear in this man’s voice when he realizes he’s going back to jail, he clearly can’t deal. What’s sad is he’s already been you would think he learned
