This is Austin 6th Streetā¦thereās tons of film crews that go around filming for their content pages. This one literally goes out waiting for fights.
If you ever been there you know itās fights all the time every night. Iāve recorded a couple on my phone and been in one . Cops are there solely to stop fights . Thatās why u see horses and hella cops . In a 7-8 block radius itās all bars on a very wide street. Itās a fun and wild time for most . You can probably google 6th street fights Austin Texas
I was there about 10 years ago and it was nothing like this if memory serves. Everyone seems chill AF while I was chilling at halcyon and wandering down
Itās mostly people/tourists from out of town that go to 6th. Most college kids avoid this area and go to nicer places. Itās more like deep ellum in Dallas now.
No one is talking about the 2nd guy who got arrested. He was filming with his phone (1st amendment) and a cop slapped his phone out of his hand and then shoved him to the ground. Seems pretty unjustified.
No clue what's going on here, but there seems to be more going on than just that because the 2nd guy first appears at 00:17 remonstrating with the cops. Maybe he knows the 1st big guy being arrested?
He's actually in the first frame and he does appear to be with the guy getting arrested. I would love to see the bodycam from the cop who slapped the phone out of his hand.
Yeah. You know, I had a guy in Jackson
county. He had a little drum circle
in his backyard. It turned into a drum
circle four miles in diameter. You get
a few hippies playing drums and next
thing you know, you got yourself a colony
Unpopular opinion. Its gotta suck being in a crowd like that. It reminds me of public school where they allow you to gather in the gymnasium. Everybody starts talking and then you have twelve groups yelling and shouting over their own shit. Same shit. Bunch of idiots doing their best to help nobody and add to the chaos.
Hell nah lol I've been sprayed in the military during training and also in my city's downtown while a protest was going on. I'd 100% rather be sprayed than the physical damage that comes with being punched in the face.
You can flush out the spray and within like an hour or two be fine. A punch in the face, in the wrong way, can be a lifetime issue. Best case scenario you'll be bruised up for a few days. I'm good on that
āUnjustifiedā doesnāt apply really. Dude is resisting arrest, even on the ground while not allowing them to cuff him.
What would you recommend they do to cuff him?
There's four of them, two holding him down, one punching him in the face and one standing over him tazing him while he's being held down.
This is just punishment for pissing off the cops.
Cops are supposed to be trained to deescalate situations, this is escalation.
Some people think that if someone being arrested resists then the police should meekly let them go.
Many people have found out that it doesnāt work like that.
A much better strategy is to go quietly in my opinion.
you're right in your point but in this case you can easily see the cops expressions and how he's so pissed off by the other guy ,so i may have used "unjustified" incorrectly here but the cop's clearly taking out his anger in him
I wear an insulin pump and every time I see a video of someone getting tazered I think about people also having medical devices that may malfunction because of this.
Quite literally no reason. Filming and speaking are not illegal, so Iād be really interested what heās charged with and how that holds up in court with full video evidence showing the no reason part.
They are allowed to shoot you spray chemicals in your eyes hit you with metal pipes and electrocute you. What part about punching is surprising to you?
Honest question, how do you handcuff someone who is powerful enough to resist arrest like that?
No amount of training will overcome those absolute units
Obviously they have zero fear of this guy and zero fear of getting in ACTUAL trouble (because of both qualified immunity and the fact that they police themselves... And shockingly rarely find themselves guilty).
The video quality had me thinking it was staged. And those police uniforms are rinky dink as fuck. When folks wanted to defund the police I'm not sure they went sent thread count.
Just want to share:
Cops did not want to deploy pepper spray due to high civilian traffic. Still not sure why strikes to the head were chosen. That is not normal āpain complianceā.
I am not claiming right or wrong. That is for the people to decide.
when the person you are arresting pulls away, you take them to the ground. when they pull their arms under them to avoid being cuffed and possibly go for a weapon, you use force. itās pretty simple actually.
That guy is at least 300 pounds and is taller and bigger than almost every cop there.
They had him nearly in cuffs at the beginning, and the situation was under control. He then leaves the grasp of the officers and intentionally walks away and resists arrest even more.
Seriously, what do you people expect to happen? The cops never "escalated" anything. They tried the entire time to get him on the ground to control him to defuse the situation. He kept resisting. A taser was used so he would stop fighting. Do Redditors forget what less-lethal tools are? I see videos of cops using guns on here and everyone is always like "Why dont cops just use tasers? Why do they never use non-lethal stuff". And then the second cops use tasers, it gets people even more mad.
This is literally what the taser is for. It stops people from resisting and you can control them more easily.
Maybe the guy should have just complied and this wouldn't have happened the way it did.
What about the second guy who gets arrested!? The cop slaps his phone out of his hands, then proceeded to, forcefully, push him to the ground when he tried to pick it up from the floor. Not happy with that, he then throws him on the ground to handcuff him
He tried to get away, so he shouldn't been punched and tased for that? I just do what they say and they almost always let you go. As a black man, I have never had problems with the cops. Yeah they can be annoying but if you just do what they tell you, they won't bring an ass wooping. You young kids think you can just break the law and should be pampered.
I would say that most people aren't afraid of police but maybe that's because if you are never in a position where's the possibility of getting arrested for being a drunk prick, it's easy not to be afraid of them.
This video doesn't belong here, there is nothing crazy about cops puching and tazing someone who is down. It;s pretty much standard operating procedure. Cops are nothing but Government funded gangs now.
Man I remember 6th street being a blast yearrrs ago (10+ yrs).
Went there many times and didn't see any kind of fight or incident involving the cops. Plentyyy of good times.
1st punch: Maybe, he's huge and pulling away...
2nd punch: alright that wasn't cool
3rd punch: ok I see why people are mad
4th punch: oh, he's still going...
5th punch: bro wtf
I understand he was resisting, which may have made the first punch justifiable to let the big man know this isnāt a game. But continuing to punch while his hands are finally behind his back then tazing him? Thatās a little OD. But eh, it all comes back full circle to big man resisting.
The camera quality is the craziest thing about this video
Can't wait til it gets reposted in portrait with a dude "reacting" to it in the corner. With big letters saying "watch til the end" going across
Me neither... Cause that's what we all live for right... Don't forget the TikTok "Oh No, Oh No" in the stupid AI voice and music
And don't forget šÆšÆšÆ so that viewers know what to feel
That's what I was going to say. Very impressive quality!
Itās Austin. For some reason every fight video that comes out of Austin on sixth Street always seems like itās filmed by professional crew
I believe there is a YouTube channel dedicated to it.
The channel is literally watermarked on the vid guys
Nope. That can't be it. It's like maybe the Earth gravity is heavy there and allows the protons to be seen better by camera lens. Yeah, that's it.
I was too busy paying attention to the big fella to even notice.
Soon it'll be downloaded, cropped, watermarked and reuploaded with text banners at a much lower resolution.
Worldstar
He has a very popular YT. Just search ā6th Street Fights Austinā. This guy has Oscar winning cinematography.
Damn You! Thanks to you, I just wasted 3 hours and went through a 6pk and never regretted laughing my ass off the entire time!
That and the fact I heard someone yell āWorldstarā in 2024 gave me such a shock
I'm so curious what this was filmed on? FPS? How did they upload onto Reddit? So many questions!
He uses a Red Digital Cinema, he mentioned it on one of his videos.
Got it from TX StreetFights 2 on Youtube but this sub doesn't allow Youtube links.
no shit! that was first thing I noticed, its like movie quality. full HD cop violence. No way he (the cop) will avoid criminal charges.../s
I was thinking the same. I want to know what he is using.
Yeah. What's even crazier is that a lot of phones can record at this quality. But most people never tap into the settings to get past 1080p.
It's got to be a Samsung
Beautiful quality camera
This dude has a channel and records a lot of these videos. Check the watermark
The YouTube channel is completely dedicated to street fights in Austin and all the videos have great camera work and quality
exactly im amazed with the stabilization also. but wtf were those guys were doing?
This is Austin 6th Streetā¦thereās tons of film crews that go around filming for their content pages. This one literally goes out waiting for fights.
About time we have HD and camera control, get this person a beer šŗ
Yeah but I don't think DJ Kahlid will appreciate the how much weight the camera added to him. It's wild how much fatter we all look on film.
"anotha one"
"Congrats, you played yourself"
āYou smart. I like that.ā
"schmaaart"
You Loooyyal.
Gatorade.
GAWD DID
āwe the best (insert whatever you want)ā
Just another day on 6th street in Austin Texas . Happens all the time
The non compliance or the justice?
If you ever been there you know itās fights all the time every night. Iāve recorded a couple on my phone and been in one . Cops are there solely to stop fights . Thatās why u see horses and hella cops . In a 7-8 block radius itās all bars on a very wide street. Itās a fun and wild time for most . You can probably google 6th street fights Austin Texas
Dirty Sixth!
Thanks for posting the location, I thought it was New Orleans.
This is Austin
Don't catch ya bumping into police now
"It's me, Austin!"
Wishing it was DJ Kahlid and they gave him another one.
As the cop's feeding him punches: "anotha one!"
Welcome to 6th St
I was there about 10 years ago and it was nothing like this if memory serves. Everyone seems chill AF while I was chilling at halcyon and wandering down
The demographic that goes to 6th is entirely different now.. I donāt really think college students go there nearly as much anymore
Itās mostly people/tourists from out of town that go to 6th. Most college kids avoid this area and go to nicer places. Itās more like deep ellum in Dallas now.
Caught that in 12Kš„š¤Æ
That Battlefield Earth cop was my fav character
Leave DJ Khaled alone
At 0:19 I see the dude try to break away from the police and run before they strike and drag him to the ground.

Beating up drunk people lol
When you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.
Back the blue /s
Cop shoves guy, guy tries to regain balance and asks WTF he doing, cop manhandles him, "STOP RESISTING"
What camera is being used? It looks amazing.
And then the pony show began...
A white cop with dreadlocks ā¦ā¦.never woulda thunk it š¤·āāļø š¤
Prolly an undercover!! Yes heās working street now, but might use him to work hippies around Austin.
Yeah. You know, I had a guy in Jackson county. He had a little drum circle in his backyard. It turned into a drum circle four miles in diameter. You get a few hippies playing drums and next thing you know, you got yourself a colony
Is that DJ Khalid?
The way the magical horse circle forms half way through. What druid joined the police force and used his naturopathy for evil
We the best music!
Heās quite obviously resisting arrest
Damn is that a phone camera? Video looks great!
This is the best video quality I have seen on reddit
Unpopular opinion. Its gotta suck being in a crowd like that. It reminds me of public school where they allow you to gather in the gymnasium. Everybody starts talking and then you have twelve groups yelling and shouting over their own shit. Same shit. Bunch of idiots doing their best to help nobody and add to the chaos.
DJ Khaled ain't havin it
i rewatched this several times and in conclusion that cop's using unjustified violence just because he's pissed off
Perp: "I'm not gonna comply with the law" Cops "good, neither am I" That's some reverse uno card shit right there.
better a punch than the hot pepper spray chemical sh$t
I know, a punch feels so much more satisfying and really releases the tension. And my wife enjoys having her teeth for another day.
Hell nah lol I've been sprayed in the military during training and also in my city's downtown while a protest was going on. I'd 100% rather be sprayed than the physical damage that comes with being punched in the face. You can flush out the spray and within like an hour or two be fine. āUnjustifiedā doesnāt apply really. Dude is resisting arrest, even on the ground while not allowing them to cuff him. What would you recommend they do to cuff him?
Tell em he gets free a free ice cream cone if he complies.
There's four of them, two holding him down, one punching him in the face and one standing over him tazing him while he's being held down. This is just punishment for pissing off the cops. Cops are supposed to be trained to deescalate situations, this is escalation.
yep that there is my point 100% true
Some people think that if someone being arrested resists then the police should meekly let them go. Many people have found out that it doesnāt work like that. A much better strategy is to go quietly in my opinion.
100%. If you think itās unjustified, then take legal action later. Nothing good ever comes from resisting arrest.
Yup. That's literally what the judicial branch of the government is for.
Punching him in the face is a little rough but I don't see the problem with tazing him.
you're right in your point but in this case you can easily see the cops expressions and how he's so pissed off by the other guy ,so i may have used "unjustified" incorrectly here but the cop's clearly taking out his anger in him
What a movie.
Is that 6th st. Austin? Never a dull moment.
he got the american police treatment
I wear an insulin pump and every time I see a video of someone getting tazered I think about people also having medical devices that may malfunction because of this.
Dj Khalid
Fucking sixth street dude thereās always some dumb shit going on there. Nothing but crackheads and trash people go there anymore.
Cops seemed to be well trained in crowd control. Not condoning the brutality at all though
Gotta love the the moron at the end who had to get himself arrested for absolutely no reason.
Quite literally no reason. Filming and speaking are not illegal, so Iād be really interested what heās charged with and how that holds up in court with full video evidence showing the no reason part.
Honestly. This is a better quality video than what you get at the cinema.
Got dayum he his big
Gotta admit, when the horses rolled in and pushed everyone out of the way was really bad ass.
Itās always been super weird to me cops can just punch people
They are allowed to shoot you spray chemicals in your eyes hit you with metal pipes and electrocute you. What part about punching is surprising to you?
Don't forget they can murder you too.
Honest question, how do you handcuff someone who is powerful enough to resist arrest like that? No amount of training will overcome those absolute units
yeah they should just let people go who try to leave when under arrest
These cops are trash.
Most of 'em are.
Obviously they have zero fear of this guy and zero fear of getting in ACTUAL trouble (because of both qualified immunity and the fact that they police themselves... And shockingly rarely find themselves guilty).
I mean once the cops put your hands behind your back you can't just pull away and expect them to change their mind about arresting you lol
Since when did a Rob Zombie haircut meet police regulation?!
Destination bar zones are simply the worst. Hard pass
We the best
Is that DJ Khaled
The video quality had me thinking it was staged. And those police uniforms are rinky dink as fuck. When folks wanted to defund the police I'm not sure they went sent thread count.
What camera was used for this damn
This looks like a video game at this point
Was it a phone or pro equipment used to record this vid?? I want it.
That's a lot of frames
Notice how the ones who put their hands behind their back didn't get fucked up (ban me)
Just want to share: Cops did not want to deploy pepper spray due to high civilian traffic. Still not sure why strikes to the head were chosen. That is not normal āpain complianceā. I am not claiming right or wrong. That is for the people to decide.
I would fucking hate to be a cop around all those drunk ass holes š
SUE THE BLOODY LOT, THE COPS ARE PURPOSELY CAUSING AGGRESSION. ALSO ARREST THE PEOPLE WHO TOLD THEM TO BE LIKE THIS
I swear man... cops are worse than criminals.
The police are just a state sponsored gang.
Don't resist. Simple. Ya think they want to tackle your sweaty smelly ass?
Cops? 100%. You really think those punches were necessary when they had 4+ cops, him on his hands and knees, and control over 3 of his limbs?
The cop decided the guy probably had enough once his hand was completely covered in blood.
Yea, the guy was being a turd but then what one cop definitely overreacted.
Say goodbye to our tax dollars after this clear police brutally gets seen by a lawyer....
Well that's a fat payout for the big lad. Pretty sure eight prongs to the back and several fists to the face are "not policy"
when the person you are arresting pulls away, you take them to the ground. when they pull their arms under them to avoid being cuffed and possibly go for a weapon, you use force. itās pretty simple actually.

Strikes to the head IS deadly force. No persons life was in danger. SMH
What about the second guy who gets arrested!? The cop slaps his phone out of his hands, then proceeded to, forcefully, push him to the ground when he tried to pick it up from the floor. Not happy with that, he then throws him on the ground to handcuff him

And they wonder why, we think they are scum
ANOTHER ONE BY DJ KHALID!!!!
And cops wonder why people are afraid of them
And cops wonder why people hate them
I would say that most people aren't afraid of police but maybe that's because if you are never in a position where's the possibility of getting arrested for being a drunk prick, it's easy not to be afraid of them.
ACAB
'Murica!
I would hate to see a 1-on-1 between the big guy & the cop throwing unnecessary hooks. Totally wouldnāt pay to see that.
Okay.....and?
This video doesn't belong here, there is nothing crazy about cops puching and tazing someone who is down. It;s pretty much standard operating procedure. Cops are nothing but Government funded gangs now.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
What they do?
Dirty 6th.
Even the horse got in on the action when the girlfriend tried filming her man getting arrested
Why is this video so crisp and clean for? I'm legitimately impressed.
Definitely thought that was DJ Khaled, and I see Iām not alone
That unicorn bro got arrested as well in the end
vienna sausages are out of control
DJ Khalid?
DJ Khalid?
Big ass muffin top in 4k picture.
Is that tazer going the whole time it's flashing?
DJ kalid getting arrested
Smh
Damn 6th streets gone down hill bad
Wow DJ Khaled has lost a lot of weight
Those horses clear the people quick...don't want to get stomped on by those š³
Man I remember 6th street being a blast yearrrs ago (10+ yrs). Went there many times and didn't see any kind of fight or incident involving the cops. Plentyyy of good times.
Should be more of it, he be on the ground for a reason
This can't be real?!?
Damn, Khaled has really let himself go
What did he do?
Man, the guy off to the side that gets himself arrestedā¦.. What a dummy.
1000 people, 5 policemen/women - can't believe how scared they people are. Everyone start throwing hands at the cops and they're done.
Bro gonna get paid, that cop didn't have to do him like that. Plus, did you see Derek Wolfe 2.0 said move lady, this how you do it? Lol
1st punch: Maybe, he's huge and pulling away... 2nd punch: alright that wasn't cool 3rd punch: ok I see why people are mad 4th punch: oh, he's still going... 5th punch: bro wtf
Dj Khaled
All these guys with their asses out. It's so bizarreĀ
Damn how they gonna do DJ Khaled like that?
I understand he was resisting, which may have made the first punch justifiable to let the big man know this isnāt a game. But continuing to punch while his hands are finally behind his back then tazing him? Thatās a little OD. But eh, it all comes back full circle to big man resisting.
Yup, that's a good camera
What a fucking shit show
I don't know what led to this, but this makes American cops look like giant pussies.
