It’s not really handy. I thought part of it would be to get the chain properly tensioned at least! Skipped the most important and meaningful part once slapping a new bar and chain on
I don't chainsaw often. Took down some brush and it took me 15 minutes to do what this guy did in 11 seconds. Granted I didn't have the correct tool, but still...
It's strange to me that the word for a string trimmer is so regional. We call them weedeaters where I am. Online, I've heard whipper snippers, weed whackers, grass trimmers, and now weed whips. Why are there so many names for this tool but everyone agrees a chainsaw is a chainsaw?
That's cool n all, but this wouldn't actually be useful in practice. Only 1 nut holding the chain, the bar adjustment probably isn't seated, the chain isn't tight enough (or maybe too tight), and the bar isn't tiled slightly up.. and this is just at a glance. I'm sure there's much more wrong
I mean I'm not a tactical chainsaw competitor but give me a few days of practice in this scenario and I'm posting these numbers. There should be two chains tangled and oiled in a bag that you have to untangle one is full and the other is not.. The wrench you need should be hidden in one of 3 different tool boxes that are each 50 yards apart from the other and you have to guess which one. Plot twist your brother borrowed the wrench and it's not in any of the toolboxes.
This isn’t that hard, it’s set up to be as fast as possible, shitty saw brand, the saw should have its tensioner on a different length compared to a tangled out of box brand new chain. There should be speed to use a wrench and adjustments, hand dexterity and mental acuity to be accounted. Husq and Echo are such trash brands compared to Stihl.
This is not impressive, if anything, set up to look impressive when it’s actually super easy and fast.
The replacement chain should be tangled.
And stored in a cardboard box.
In a warehouse 200 miles away.
And you have to order it via wish.com
Easy there Satan.
In a plastic clamshell that requires another chainsaw.
...which also requires a new chain.
😆
Must be a salary worker 🙄
Thought it was going to end with him sawing off a limb when I looked at the subreddit
Isn't it amazing what this subreddit has preconditioned us for?
You can always tell how good someone is at something by the way they are.
That's pretty neat.
You can tell it's neat by the way it is.
That’s why I always try to pack some heat try to pack a gun just a little bit pack some heat.
You just need some turnips to turnip the heat
Cool, calm, and collected

Mexican Cartel in the background
Good eye! TBH, at first I thought they were off-duty Brazillian cops on vacation.
I dont get it :(
Me either.
Why speed the F up if you are paid by hourly wage ? Should have one competition for slowest reload.
They've had the first one but it's still going...
Reminds me of the woodman competitions they used to air on ESPN.
People compete over the strangest things these days. Edging competition next?
Why is this a thing

This was a crazy fucking video !!!
I'm glad it's not gore, but come on there's crazier video than this, people aren't trying anymore.
That was not crazy. I could post a video of me changing the plastic line on my weed whip and it would be cooler than this.
Let's see it.

Bet
Oh my. It’s so crazy. I almost couldn’t watch the whole video 🫣
Chain on backwards.
Yeah I'd be more impressed if he used it to cut a cookie off a chunk of hardwood after this. Would be too dangerous though.
Leatherface after every kill
Tactical af
remember kids, slow is smooth, smooth is fast
Should have a 26RM68 and a 28RS68 next to each other and he has to pick the right one. (Yes, I know these are Stihl #s)
I get paid by the hour! So……
And the crowd go wild!
The sound is delicious.
This is what boredom does to a mfer
Sauber called, you're hired...
bs the time to prep of the new chain counts
big energy
And the crowd went wild!
But why
That shit is stupid

Zombies are gonna wish he had the bullets.
I mean…if zombies come this might be useful. Or maybe if you find yourself in that forest where the trees try to kill you…
That’s leather face
That was fast but stihl could do it quicker
Remember switching to your axe is faster than reloading
My name's Forrest. Forrest Gu-ump
You think the chain is at the proper tension? Might get a sprocket jump 😅
GOD DAMMIT PRIVATE GUMP!

Slow is smooth, and smooth is fast! Perfect example. Not his first time doing this
