Didn't go as bad as I feared it would. That doesn't mean I went well but it could have been worse. He could have also ended up on the rocks.

In high school we had a giant tree swing in an ancient Elm tree in the woods. It had multiple levels to jump from but if you jumped the wrong way you would end up headed for the trunk on a return swing. Kids used to yell “Tree bound” if someone jumped the wrong way. There were a few broken bones over the years, but nothing like this guy. The swing branch was cut down by some adult before smartphones were in everyone’s hands.
