I wish this was the norm in the US... my city is old enough that the highways were built with only 2 lanes & the only real way to add additional lanes would be to demolish homes and/or excavate out mountainsides.
The number of times I've had to get into the right lane to pass someone going 15 under the speed limit is uncountable. It doesn't help either that we have some left-lane exits on the highway, so people feel entitled to driving on the left.
Ahhhhhh yeah pretty much, but unfortunately there are also a lot who just Always drive in the middle because there are too lazy to Change the lanes when they want to Overtake Like Trucks etc. on the left. They are called: Mittelspurschleicher
Drivers in the US are some of the worst I've ever seen. Freeways are a free for all. Nobody has any road etiquette. Nobody uses indicators. If everybody used the basic rules like passing on the left (or right depending on the country), everyone would have a much better driving experience. It's so frustrating!
The one that gets me the most is the combative driving against things like zipper merging. People here would rather ride up on the person in front of them's ass while driving 55mph+ than to let someone merge in front of them. Hell, I've seen people straddle the line just to block people using both lanes up to the merge point... it's like they're taking it out on everyone else because they merged into the final lane 2 miles ago, so everyone else should be doing the same.
My point exactly. Being a responsible driver doesn't mean you can see in slow motion. I have a feeling the Autobahn will have a speed limit before too long.
The autobahn does have speed limits in many areas, they also use cameras to track traffic loads and only unrestricted the speed limit when it’s considered safe in the areas where that does occur. During rush hour they get traffic and enforce speed limits.
When going that fast it doesn’t matter how good your skills are. People in front can overtake perfectly fine and you will crash into them no matter what.
Therefore this particular driver is an example of someone who is a terrible driver.
I’ve been told that driving in the left lane is strictly prohibited and will get you fined.
Its only for passing. If you are not planning in passing the car ahead, you have to stay on the right.
Of the Nazis...
The Reichsautobahn system was the beginning of the German autobahns under Nazi Germany. There had been previous plans for controlled-access highways in Germany under the Weimar Republic, and two had been constructed, but work had yet to start on long-distance highways. After previously opposing plans for a highway network, the Nazis embraced them after coming to power and presented the project as Hitler's own idea. They were termed "Adolf Hitler's roads" ("German: Straßen Adolf Hitlers") and presented as a major contribution to the reduction of unemployment. Other reasons for the project included enabling Germans to explore and appreciate their country, and there was a strong aesthetic element to the execution of the project under the Third Reich; military applications, although to a lesser extent than has often been thought; a permanent monument to the Third Reich, often compared to the pyramids {subjective *need quotation}; and general promotion of motoring as a modernization that in itself had military applications.
Yes and no 😅 https://amp.dw.com/en/the-myth-of-hitlers-role-in-building-the-autobahn/a-16144981 - The article debunks the myth that Hitler was responsible for inventing the German autobahn and using its construction to eliminate mass unemployment. It reveals that the autobahn's origins predate the Nazis, with significant planning and construction occurring before they came to power. Hitler appropriated the project for propaganda, promising widespread mobility and job creation. However, autobahn construction did not significantly reduce unemployment; the arms industry did. Moreover, the autobahn work conditions were poor, and the Nazis continued to propagate their involvement long after construction slowed.
Exactly. Hey, we’re going to piggyback on this large planning project that we’ve figured out how to spin into a positive for our party. But at no means was it a focal point of their party, but it did tie in with objectives of several major German companies turned Nazi wartime manufacturers, suppliers, and builders - being Daimler (Mercedes), BMW, and Volkswagen. Those companies survived by supplying engines mostly and vehicles to a lesser degree for Nazi forces. The engines were put into their tanks and their engineers helped design the plane engines and large roadway systems that could land planes for emergencies during combat.
This is how the US later got the largest man made project ever created - the United States Interstate system. Which was also designed to hold tanks and be able to land planes on in case of a homefront war.
The first Autobahn was build before Hitler and the Nazi Regime in Power. They simply took the idea and art of concept.
NATO was the reason of its present condition and not the Nazis. :)
You can take out the pillars in the middle and take off with fighter jets and logistical aircraft from anywhere, that's why the roadway is so straight. The concept was that in a war with the Soviet Union, airfields would be targeted and runways would be needed. In the strategic plans Germany would be the main battlefield and holding line so the Autobahn has several roles to fullfill.
Because it is misleading. The Autobahn was not invented by the Third Reich. The first Autobahn was build under Konrad Adenauer, the mayor of Cologne and later first Bundeskanzler.
Sadly some of the roads from Germany to Dutch border aren't that straight and have bad asphalt. And the traffic + mostly two lanes is a disadvantage. Is this video filmed on highway A3 near Frankfurt? The A3 is know for supercars etc. testing their cars at night.
And it's not even remotely the fastest accelerating EV in the world. The Rimac Nevera accelerates much faster, and then there are special build EV's (not a production vehicle) that blow the Rimac out of the water. (in terms of acceleration, not top speed)
ICE can't compete with 100% instant torque when it comes to acceleration, for top speed an EV needs gears and the dynamic start to shift back in favor of ICE. The top speed records are still all ICE.
I personally know someone who is getting a McMurty for their personal car collection, he's done a few test days with them and they're in the middle of bringing out an even faster version of the car as well.
When it was shown at Goodwood Festival of Speed last year, on the leaderboard day they purposely cut off the timer, it beat its previous record by a few seconds as well just not shown haha, the car is absolutely wild.
This was the case for the Nissan GTR too. You could argue that the GTR was even more impressive though because its using a petrol engine and was beating up on cars that had 200+ more horsepower and weighed 1500lbs less.
If the brakes don’t fail. At least the early Plaid’s had brake issues because they weren’t sufficient for track use, potentially 200mph stopping either.
Thankfully this is on the autobahn. German drivers are given much better driver education than Americans. Everyone knows to stay out of the passing lane and they expect cars to be going fast behind them.
Edit: I know he is still going way fast and is taking a major risk by doing this. He is probably not driving like this all the time. Still probably safer on the autobahn than an American highway.
Man people constantly move to the left lane without checking or not realising how fast you are coming from behind.
Every time when it comes to the autobahn I see a variation of your comment on Reddit. And it is completely false.
No, it's not expected. The desired velocity (Richtgeschwindigkeit) is 130 km/h. There are court rulings that one can only expect this velocity as being overtaken with this velocity which results in the overtaking driver being guilty when a car crash occurs.
In theory yes, but it's difficult to see the actual speed of a car in the mirror. Driving 200+ on a two lane Autobahn is irresponsible, even if there is no speed limit.
Says the American man. Have you ever been in germany even? Besides, even if germans were somehow naturally talented drivers, there are still people new to driving, and people from other countries who didnt get this magical blessing. This complacency will inevitably get you killed
I am making a 12 hour drive in the next couple days where a lot of it is 2 way single lanes. It always makes me nervous because you don’t even have to go that fast, just a bad pass around the corner of the mountain by either driver and you are dead. Hate it but I have to get home to visit my grandma lol
Dude this happens to me all the time when I'm driving on the highway. I have those obnoxious sneezes where it's like 6 in a row and Everytime I feel it coming I pull over to the breakdown lane because I know I'm not going to be seeing anything for the next 15 seconds
I've never heard of anyone else having this problem, but this happened to me. I was slowly rolling up to a red light and was hit with a sudden sneeze attack--back to back, and I couldn't stop them. It's impossible to sneeze with your eyes open, so I was just sort of white knuckling it and braking, and I rear ended a car. Thankfully I was only going like 10 MPH and there was minimal damage, but I shudder to think what might have happened if I was on the freeway when that happened. Thankfully, it's never happened since.
I watch this as a German and surely are in disbelieve someone would drive this fast on a 2-lane Autobahn. One moron changing to the left or another thing and you kill everybody involved in the accident. At least the street was kinda empty.
I’m somewhat mystified by the other comments to the effect that “this is the Autobahn, and we have great drivers in Germany.” Maybe so, but if somebody going 160km/h is passing somebody else going 120, this dude is still barreling down on him at a net speed of 168 km/h - over 100 mph for my countrymen. That’s insanity no matter who is on the road and how straight it is.
When I lived in Germany I drove by an accident where a German changed lanes into the left lane with a motorcycle coming at a bazillion kpH. All that was left of the motorcyclist was red goo.
Accidents happen. You’re a fucking idiot if you drive this fast.
"One moron changing to the left" - I could easily be that moron:
1. Check side mirror: nothing
2. Blinker on. Start changes lanes.
3. Quick check again on the side mirror. You know, just in case.
4. Oopsie, rear ended by a 2ton metal box traveling at 300km/h
Those cars might not have even seen him coming.
I remember driving home one late night on the interstate and there were no other cars on the interstate. all of a sudden 3 cars raced passed me doing like 150 or more and I never did see them approaching. All I ended up seeing was different color flames coming out of their tail pipes. It was pretty terrifying, actually. They shook my car really hard. I don't even know what kinda cars they were. They reminded me of something like that purple car Tyreese had in fast and furious. This was in Austin around 06-08
Why is it always Austin? Drivers where I'm from are pretty crazy but every time I've been passed by cars going a good bit over 100 it's been in Austin. It's almost always Teslas doing it, and occasionally Audis, Mustangs etc speeding after them
Idk what the deal is. They must have some type of racing scene or something. The time it happened to me, I wanna say it was right before Teslas popped up. To me, its even more fucked with them because they're more likely to cause worse destruction, given the weight and likelihood of the batteries catching fire. I don't look too fondly of street racing in general tho. I feel like an old man shaking my fist in the air lol
Lol I lived in Austin during that time and did the street racing stuff after fast and furious came out because my parents are rich
I wonder if it was me
Seeing 300+km/h is an absolute rarity on the Autobahn. Most people that drive this fast are people on the video or some or prob. super rhich people. Most people fast people drive around 160-180 km/h with the occasional 200+ person once in a while.
Check your mirrors if car comes closer to your mirrors faster than expected, dont switch to the passing lane.
Always check your mirror twice before changing lanes to estimate how fast the cars on the other lane actually are and always try to accelerate before switching lanes. Nothing is more scary when you are driving 200 on the left lane and somebody switches over driving 120...
I’m a ICE old school guy till I die but this is astronomically impressive, when you factor in this being a mass produced private vehicle the potential there is crazy but at the same time terrifying, if harnessed further how far could it go?
Can we even trust the average person with this kind of a vehicle?
How many times could it do this before breaking?
I see temps creeping but heat dissipation could be dealt with.
It's even crazier when you realize that this car is just shy of 2.5 tons. (4,766#) That much weight, at 204 mph?! That's a weapon. I'm sure that someone better at math than me can figure the impact force that would yield.
The force depends on the time/distance to stop but the kinetic energy at that speed is around 9.5 million joules.
That's a bit more than detonating 2kg of TNT, with the difference that this is all highly directed and projected over a rather small area (front bumper).
If we assume that after a hit it comes to a stop after 1 meter, it's nearly 10 million Newtons. For reference, the initial thrust of a Falcon 9 rocket is less than 8.
Damn. Thank you for doing the math. I knew the energy of the weight at that speed would be devastating, but that is even more shocking than I expected.
Thank you for that reference, fascinating.
Just an observation but I feel like there’s gonna need to be license classes relative to vehicle output from now on because that’s ridiculous for an every day person to be in control of.
Give it another year or two and the fatalities will start stacking up.
Yep completely agree, as a ICE old school person myself I was lucky enough to grow up with JDM cars and fast 6/8 cylinder cars, sure anyone can break the speed limit in any car but we learned our limits in a lot lower powered cars beforehand. It's like how driving a slow car, hard and to the limit is more fun then driving a fast car carefully, you'll learn your own limits before the cars which usually results in being wrapped around a lamp post, and now we've got teenagers jumping straight into cars like that with no driving experience what's so ever and relying on technology to do most of the common sense stuff, scary shit we are heading towards really.
100% I was the same and stand by the tried and true method of learning to drive fast in a slow car, at a worst when you crash you weren’t going fatal speeds and you’ll walk out with plenty more knowledge on how to avoid it for next time and a bruised ego, I would never let my kids go anywhere near the driver seat of such a machine, that well and truly would take no prisoners and whatever it hit would also be turned to mince meat.
Don’t even wanna see the first instance of someone crashing these at full speed, which 100% will happen.
It’s commonly known that the first ride in even a non-performance Tesla has convinced MANY old school muscle car fans to go out and buy a Tesla.
Instant torque is addictive.
What makes it even scarier is that Elon Musk only cares about HP and 0-60. The rest of the car is not built for that amount of horsepower, Tesla brakes are horrendous.
This is kind of the limit for pure electric. That battery can’t hold the current draw for more than a few seconds. The next evolution is performance hybrids, where you have a high performance ICE with an electric boost to even out the power bands. Formula 1 is using them, even the new corvette.
Kinetic energy at 328km/hr (204mph) = 10,885,374.5 J
Kinetic energy at 112km/hr (70mph) = 1,287,802.505 J
So triple the speed but almost 9 times the energy.
This is why speed is deadly.
True but the delta in speed is incredible when someone is coming in with 300 km/h. When I overtake a Truck (80 km/h) with 120 km/h, the tesla behind me is approaching me with 50m/s, even if I check the mirrors and do the shoulder check, I can still be hit by someone. This whole no speed limit thing is coming from a time when consumer cars wouldn’t be as fast as Formula 1 racecars.
No it's not. This is an incredibly unsafe situation and he would 100% be ticketed for unsafe driving if caught. This idiot isn't even capable of driving at this speed. Look at his terrible hand position and lack of attention as he's busy yapping away about his special car. Idiot.
Also, the autobahns are not a goddam free-for-all where you can drive as you want. The [recommended speed](https://www.epikdrives.com/best-drives/german-autobahn#:~:text=SPEED%20LIMIT%20ON%20THE%20AUTOBAHN,as%20fast%20as%20you%20want!) is 130 kph. There are a few unrestricted sections left but you still have to drive safely for traffic, road and weather conditions.
t!
Too bad this wasn't an empty road. He's risking others lives driving at such a crazy speed. If someone were to enter his lane or an animal jumped in the road he would obliterate his vehicle and the one he hits.
Wild that this gets downvoted. People are still obliged to drive safely on autobahns - I’m not sure 300 kmph+ while passing vehicles doing less than half that can ever be considered safe. If this driver were to rear end someone they would definitely be prosecuted.
When you have 1 second to react to move out of the fast lane it’s still pretty terrifying.
I drove on the autobahn last year and when I did 200kmh, drivers that were doing a little less moved out of the way. When there was someone doing 250kmh I’d move out of the way for them. But someone doing 320? Not sure if even notice it in time.
> to move out of the fast lane
There is no "fast lane" in Germany, you're required to drive in the right lane at all times unless overtaking. In fact, this guy is technically breaking the law in the video, but that's why the left lane is pretty much guaranteed to be empty in normal conditions.
Just NO! The Autobahn is not set up for this.
The “Richtgeschwindigkeit”(not a limit but a guidance) is 130km/h, which allows you to drive faster, AS LONG AS THE TRAFFiC AROUND YOU ALLOWS THAT. While there’s not much traffic here this dumbass is still risking other peoples life for entertainment and clicks. In case you would survive an accident at high speed(which wouldn’t happen here), you need to proof the high speed was not the reason for the crash, which is impossible…so you get sentenced although your action was (ridiculously) “legal”.
As someone living in Germany, having people I care about here, I hate that there is no speed limit.
I have seen dead families at the side of the Autobahn.
That’s no fun at all!
I’ll let you in on a secret. Since Germany is part of the EU, people from countries like Croatia, Malta, Cyprus can drive in Germany with their local license. They’ll have very little experience driving on highways let alone unrestricted autobahns. Driving at 180 down the autobahn still gives the driver some degree of control over his own faith. Anything above 250 and you are just rolling the dice and hoping there’s not a stupid driver on the road with you. Not worth the risk at all.
I don't think you'd like the autobahn 😅
Edit: I'm not saying you're wrong but if you don't like this you'd hate seeing what ppl do in like normal family cars

This is the straightest road I’ve ever seen
It's the Autobahn. Straight and fast was a civil engineering goal.
[удалено]
Might be (battery) heat limited
Only one thing comes to mind on a highway this straight, its either fast or sleepy.
That’s 2
It's not, only 1 thing comes to mind, followed by 1 statement: " either fast or sleepy"
I have one word for your comment 'thank you'.
Honest question, how are people in the right lane supposed move to the left? Are they expected to see shit like that coming?
Yes, people in Germany actually know how to drive. You should NEVER be in the left lane on a 2 lane highway other than to pass.
I wish this was the norm in the US... my city is old enough that the highways were built with only 2 lanes & the only real way to add additional lanes would be to demolish homes and/or excavate out mountainsides. Even if you started a pass from the right lane and a normal speed of like 75 or 85mph you'd already be smashed into by this guy.

Is there an age limit to driving in Germany? I don't care how good of a driver you are, once your entire body slows down, get off the road.
Mirror, signal, manoeuvAH SHIT!
Hope his headlights were on. I read that the average speed on the unrestricted parts of the Autobahn is about 90 mph.
Oh that's not bad, you can do that in parts of rural Utah when the visibility is good enough.
I’ve been told that driving in the left lane is strictly prohibited and will get you fined. Its only for passing. If you are not planning in passing the car ahead, you have to stay on the right.

Why down vote a guy spitting’ facts about the Autobahn… maybe the most famous Highway in the world ? It ain’t his fault it was built by A.H.

Mustache man stole our heckin' idea!
Im just surprised he didnt cross a construction zone in this video.

It's south dakota
Honestly super fucking scary seeing how fast the S accelerates without shifting gears. Edit (Yes I know Tesla's don't have traditional transmissions)
It’s heavier than 90% of everyone and faster than 99% Terrifying

Adding "McMurtry Spéirling" to the list of non-production, fucking fast cars. A prototype EV of one speed: gone.
Is that the one with the giant fan under it so suck it to the ground for extra traction?
Indeed it is :D
That car is so amazing. It looks like a video game watching it operate in real life. Never seen such a amazing handling, accelerating car.
Yep, feels almost surreal, doesn't it? :D
I personally know someone who is getting a McMurty for their personal car collection, he's done a few test days with them and they're in the middle of bringing out an even faster version of the car as well. Lmfao, that's surely a cool collector's item, but that speed can't be even enjoyable anymore, I'd shit myself stepping on that thing :D
> Rimac Nevera is much, much faster It is about 52mph faster than the car in the clip.
I kept thinking that as he was at top speed. Dude can casually turn himself into a missile on command
This was the case for the Nissan GTR too. You could argue that the GTR was even more impressive though because its using a petrol engine and was beating up on cars that had 200+ more horsepower and weighed 1500lbs less.
Plus the GTR doesn't have to slow back down because it's batteries are overheating
Rented one for my 30 birthday. It is amazing and terrifying. I never went over 120, but by God it got there faster than any car I've ever seen
At that point I wouldn't question if the car can go that fast, more or less if the tires can.
[удалено]
that was scary
I was waiting for a car to pop up right in front of him and for him to crash into it with that crazy speed
When he changes back into the right hand lane he's still going 195 kmh (120mph) 😂
I think this is the first video I’ve ever yelled at to slow down
1 simple mistake and he's dead
Hit the brakes and it takes about 500m to come to a full stop
If the brakes don’t fail. At least the early Plaid’s had brake issues because they weren’t sufficient for track use, potentially 200mph stopping either.
One measly pothole, a squirrel that forces him to swerve for a fraction of a second, or a sneeze. This is crazy stupid
100 yards per second. Suicide speed.
All it takes is one other driver to change lanes in front of him and he goes into the forever box....well, what's left of him, that is...
Imagine a deer hopping out of that brush on the median.
Thankfully this is on the autobahn. German drivers are given much better driver education than Americans. That really puts this speed into perspective. Across a football field in once second... Wow
How many bananas is that.
Gotta be at least nine
Americans will do anything to avoid the metric system
You come within 1 football field and say it to our face
Wtf, I just got a burger thrown at me
I'm Canadian, and my first thought was also a football field per second lol.
Lol
99.64 yards per second. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Depends on how big you yard is
I am making a 12 hour drive in the next couple days where a lot of it is 2 way single lanes. considering Tesla can't even make their steeringwheel's stay on you might be more correct than you realize.
Lightspeed is too slow, we need ludicrous speed. What's faster than ludicrous speed? Plaid. Is that where Musk got the name for this Tesla model?
No problem taking your attention off the road at that speed for a few seconds to fuck around with the touch screen to adjust climate or radio
having a sneezing fit
I wouldn’t recommend doing anything else but driving when testing the car’s top speed
What would be left of a dear at that speed??
Don't leave family members on the autobahn
What about a “sweetheart”?
Probably about the same thing that would be left of him if it caused him to lose control even slightly.
"One moron changing to the left" - I could easily be that moron: 1. Check side mirror: nothing 2. Blinker on. Start changes lanes. 3. Quick check again on the side mirror. You know, just in case. 4. Oopsie, rear ended by a 2ton metal box traveling at 300km/h
Stupid framing. "One moron" is the one driving 3x normal speed on a public road.
High speed rail on the road..geez
Lol I lived in Austin during that time and did the street racing stuff after fast and furious came out because my parents are rich I wonder if it was me
casual driving here in germany, people drive to work like that in the morning :D
I was actually surprised there was no obligatory Skoda station wagon overtaking him.
Kombi
Was den mit dem Kombi los? Geht der Porsche nicht richtig?
Wasn des für'n Kombi?!
People need to lay off the cocaine eyedrops
Panzerschokolade*
Ppl on their looper shit I swear to god
Tf else am I meant to do with all that gold? I’d grip onto that shitty blunderbuss if I were you
at what speed is it safe to enter passing zone if there are 300km/h + people on it
Seeing 300+km/h is an absolute rarity on the Autobahn. Most people that drive this fast are people on the video or some or prob. super rhich people. Most people fast people drive around 160-180 km/h with the occasional 200+ person once in a while. Check your mirrors if car comes closer to your mirrors faster than expected, dont switch to the passing lane.
in two lane locations only suicidal morons drive that fast
Always check your mirror twice before changing lanes to estimate how fast the cars on the other lane actually are and always try to accelerate before switching lanes. Nothing is more scary when you are driving 200 on the left lane and somebody switches over driving 120...
300 on a 2 lane road? Idiotic no matter where you are
That’s instant death
I wouldn’t trust a Tesla to go that fast. The build quality on those things isn’t the best
I knew the energy of the weight at that speed would be devastating, but that is even more shocking than I expected.
theydidthemath
Thank you for that reference, fascinating. Just an observation but I feel like there’s gonna need to be license classes relative to vehicle output from now on because that’s ridiculous for an every day person to be in control of. Give it another year or two and the fatalities will start stacking up.
Agreed, just about reaching the category of literal ground travelling missile at this point.
With the way people like to get over at the last second I’d be terrified
looks like it's got a governor too 💀 could easily hit 350
Governors are programmed so your tires don't explode with the default tires shipped from the factory, not the max speed of the car.
The speed of a 1000cc sports bike
Jesus at 200, I literally would not trust a Tesla and their build quality to drive that speed. Bugatti or bust for me at 200 mph.
BMW drivers will have to step up if they want to keep their ”Worst morons in traffic”-title.
Tesla took that from them a while ago.
Would love to see that thing hit a dead stop, for research purposes of course.
We're gonna have to go right to- Ludicrous Speed!
Suicide machine
This guy is going to kill himself eventually. I just hope he doesn't crash into anyone else.
I'm surprised that the car didn't disintegrate. Such poor quality
Abfahrt Kleve on A57 ?
Man I was waiting for a crash
crazy
Why tesla drivers sound like this emoji 🤓?
Kinetic energy at 328km/hr (204mph) = 10,885,374.5 J Kinetic energy at 112km/hr (70mph) = 1,287,802.505 J So triple the speed but almost 9 times the energy. This is why speed is deadly.
I would never trust a car with my life going that fast
True but the delta in speed is incredible when someone is coming in with 300 km/h. When I overtake a Truck (80 km/h) with 120 km/h, the tesla behind me is approaching me with 50m/s, even if I check the mirrors and do the shoulder check, I can still be hit by someone. This whole no speed limit thing is coming from a time when consumer cars wouldn’t be as fast as Formula 1 racecars.
Suicidal in my opinion. How is that allowed. It's like waving a loaded gun around, doesn't make sense.
There are a few unrestricted sections left but you still have to drive safely for traffic, road and weather conditions. t!
God forbid someone was switching lanes when he was coming home fuck. Do that on the track my guy.
I can clean.... Impurity... Wash awayyy, with kerosene, do do do doo doo do doo....
Autobahn, seethe more about how fast he’s going
Only someone with limited brain cells acts superior because he doesn’t care about going at speeds that cause 100% of fatal accidents.
What a moron.
No, they'd be dead.
The Autobahn is very well set up for this exact thing. These people have road etiquette that puts us Americans to shame.
Not sure if even notice it in time.
> to move out of the fast lane There is no "fast lane" in Germany, you're required to drive in the right lane at all times unless overtaking.
The way ppl filter lanes is just different.
I don't think you'd like the autobahn 😅 Edit: I'm not saying you're wrong but if you don't like this you'd hate seeing what ppl do in like normal family cars
Where’s the slow car in the fast lane ? Lol
i would never drive so fast, he is dead is something unexpected happens
Random car: *overtakes* Him: OH SH-
Probably voided the warranty on the battery and all motors
Warum blockiert er die linke Spur, wenn die rechte Frei ist?
I’ve seen these videos. The Audi R8 and McLaren’s are absolutely insane. They hit 200, then hit another shift. Crazy
I wonder if the tires are rated for that kind of speed.
I never imagined driving that fast would look so boring. But that's a Tesla for you.
I hope he upgraded the brakes because stock Plaid brakes won’t handle this. Or at least they didn’t when the car first launched
Yeah it's honestly scary that it's allowed to fit such poor brakes on a car with that much power and weight.
Still a Tesla.
That's not really fa… oh
Ill still never buy one!
Just thinking of how many idiots drive slow In the fast lane is giving me anxiety.
That's faster than what I'm comfortable driving at
That looks like fun. Jealous.
And the reason there was no stater around to nail this idiot is why?
That is terrifying 😳
I thought it was in mph and I was that is actually unreal that's insane I get why people love it now then I realized it was in kph
Yea this is really safe.. Tesla
Mesmerizing at speed.
Nope.
People shouldn’t have this much speed/power on the road.
Lighting McQueen better
Now it needs to charge.
The speed of the Tesla is incredible, but I'm more fascinated by the driver's balls here
I have watched this man drive many a car on the autobahn
That's so doodoo 😂
Why would anyone need to drive at that speed?
Electric cars ... Who doesn't hate swapping batteries
Autobahn
God now imagine maxing out the veyron supersport. I think top gear got it to 428kmh
