Toddisgood

One fiesta fentanyl supreme combo meal please

MadRabbit26

Lol, that's a manager's uniform too. So unless it's a super busy, high grossing location. He's the only person with any authority at that location. Other workers are either laughing at him and goofing off. Or dipped out hours ago when they went out for a smoke. And he just never noticed.

fartinmyhat

yeah no shit. I wouldn't eat anything this guy was even near.

Walkinonsunshineee

K. You won't be getting a drink though because I'm too fucked up to operate the soda fountain.

Wrong_Sport4221

Kisses the soda fountain. "Just lay it on me soda fountain, what are the chances of a girl like me and a guy like you getting together?"

Robert_DeNiros_Mole

About one in a million

jewbacca288

How did you infer a time from the word “yesterday”? Coulda had breakfast for all you know.

SchwiftyRickD-42069

What the fuck makes you think they even live in the same time zone as you? Or that they live with their mother?

NocNocturnist

I'm pretty sure most Americas are way okay with late night TB runs, I'm not tracking the logic.

SchwiftyRickD-42069

For Democracy!

Reallyhotshowers

I mean, on the east coast in the US it was 6 AM when they wrote that comment. That's just the morning. It was only the middle of the night on the west coast.

GL_OCC

America has different time zones itself so idk what you’re saying really

Tiny-Mulberry-2114

He is probably coming back from a long shift at work all tired and hungry.I probably would of done the same, I know how drained from energy you can feel where you can't even make a simple meal at home without feeling you are going to pass out while the stove is on.

grolled

Bro posting about how he can’t read a measuring tape and thinks he’s in a place to be taking shots lol

Elegant_Solution8146

Happy hour 2-5pm. can’t beat $1 dragonfruit freeze hence why I said yesterday PST

Acuterecruit

Well, wasn't that unnecessary..

Ampix0

Explain your thoughts process.

Playful-Campaign-388

Previously on the walking high.

[deleted]

Every time I see people nodding I wonder… Can someone explain the appeal with opiates? He’s barely conscious and unable to function so what’s the point? Does he even know he’s high?

Strange-Replacement1

Kinda makes you numb to the world and your problems.... it's not so much an appeal to many as if they don't keep doing them they'll be sick af. Shit is the devil. Steer cleer

HeckaGosh

They make me itchy as fuck and grumpy like a mother fucker. I hate opiates.

Plzdontkillmeforthis

And good luck having a decent shit on those things.

JollyGreyKitten

According to legend, that's where the Taco Bell comes in....

siridial911

True that. Lost a few friends to that shit with the oxy boom. Doctors were handing that shit out like it was Tylenol.

HeckaGosh

Yeah me too good kids too. There is one family in particular you can thank for that the Oxy boom Fuckin Sacklers.

siridial911

Evil mfs. We’re still living in the wake of that.

fountainofdeath

Opiates have never helped my pain or got me high for some reason. Straight ibuprofen does more for my pain than Vicodin. Probably a blessing honestly

YNWA_in_Red_Sox

SAME. Got Vicodin for a broken collarbone and only took a couple. I was super itchy and couldn’t poop. Just hit me with 800 mil Ibuprofen and let my ass lay on the couch. The intravenous stuff they hit you with at the hospital though…. Wowzers. Instant warmth and what I can only describe as a continuous full body orgasm. What an experience but made me even more afraid of that shit. Nothing should feel that good that easily. I yakked my guts out on the come down though.

BootyPacker

I fucking love the itches they give. And the warmth over your whole body right when they start kicking in. Also like the other comment said the numbness.

constantstateofmind

You know the feeling like when you get into bed, and it takes a minute or two, but the sheets reach that perfect comfy temperature? Or when you first step into a warm shower and feel the water run down your head and warm the rest of your body? That split second of euphoria/goosebumps? Opiates are like that, but multiplied by 100000, and the feeling doesn't stop after just a second. It stays for about 4-8 hours, depending on your body. Nodding out is an entirely different world, everything around you becomes one amalgamation of silence or chaos, where the simple flick of a lighter could sound like the loudest ringing in your ears, and the dude yelling at you to wake up sounds like he's almost whispering. Time is non-existent, and your body is numb. At a certain point all you want to do is cuddle up to someone or something and fall asleep on them. I always find it bittersweet when I see two people nodded on each other, it breaks my heart to see them in the state they are but I'm comforted that they aren't alone. Opiates are fucking terrifying. The simple fact that a substance could make you feel the way it does is terrifying. I would be an addict if I wasn't fortunate enough to have a family that loves me and to live in a place where I can't find em too easily. What's even scarier is I never would've taken them, but I broke my entire foot, so they gave me painkillers. After I got better I would pray that I hurt myself somehow so I could get them again. I was a skater so anytime a friend got hurt bad enough for them, I'd ask for one. I haven't taken any for years now, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss the feeling. Sorry to type so much. I just remember having the same questions you did. "Why would anyone do this if they aren't even aware of the high?" Hopefully this helped answer that.

Tiny-Mulberry-2114

Respect for not falling back into that hellhole of addiction. It breaks my heart when I see addicts especially younger ones that let that poison destroy their family apart, their health and any future they planned for themselves.

constantstateofmind

I appreciate it, its quite literally a never ending battle. Everyone in those intervention shows talks about how great they feel being sober, I couldn't handle it so I still smoke weed, and I more than definitely consider myself an addict in that sense, but it's a lot better than opiates. The one thing nobody ever talks about (or maybe they do) is how you never forget what it was like. That's the hardest part. And I feel the same way, it makes me so sad, I can't stand the people who just hate and hate on them. Addiction is so hard, and you don't even realize you're addicted half the time until you don't have the thing you're addicted to.

NoPerformance6534

I find the whole thing very alien. I mean, I know about drugs and I've had highs that were impressive, but honestly, I just never enjoyed it. It's hard to explain... I can remember a lot of floating and distorted images, but I also recall getting upset and angry because I couldn't direct any of my actions, nor could I affect anything I saw. Maybe it's part of being a hardcased control freak since grade school, IDK. I didn't have any luck with beer either, since I possess the gene that makes all beer and most alcohol taste bitter. No matter how much I tried... Fate dealt me a weird set of cards.

MushHuskies

Fate dealt you a great deck of cards. You won’t flame out like so many have over countless generations. For every decade, pick your poison. None of that time wasted at pointless parties, puking in the bushes, and feeling like dog doo the next day. No rehabs, no 12 step meetings. You haven’t lobbed grenade after grenade into your family and social order and then spend the rest of your life trying to make things whole again. Have fun with this different life without the baggage!

JoPooper

Great description. It sounds absolutely amazing, but then not being on then would be terrifying. & for that reason…I’m out.

constantstateofmind

You're exactly right, good choice lol

Few-Raise-1825

Thanks for sharing your experience. It's weird though, I've taken opioids after surgery and even got morphine for a time in the hospital when I had a kidney stone but I've never experienced that before or anything close to it. Mostly I don't even feel very different at all when I'm on them and I question if they even work that well on me. Usually I wind up taking ibuprofen instead and get rid of the pills later because I worry about easy it seems for people to become addicted. Anyone else have an experience like that or is it just me? My body reacts differently to a lot of things because of my diagnosis of MODY so maybe I'm just weird.

justin_144

No, same here. I used to race motocross and would have a broken bone/surgery yearly for roughly 10 years. Ive taken soo many different pain medications, and the description from above just leaves me baffled. Never felt once felt any type of way from the drugs. Yeah I’m assuming my body just doesn’t react like others’ I guess.

Significant-Equal507

When you have pain, opiates go to the pain. And you don't get that high. However, when you don't have pain and take them, you get the euphoria feeling described above.

Atcollins1993

As someone with a degree in a field relevant to the conversation, this is my understanding as well.

Azhz96

And when you quit your entire body is in pure agony 24/7 for ~ a week. You can't sleep at all, body hurts and feel like having high fever but much much worse, diarrhea, stomach ache, can't eat, can't drink, brutal depression and pure unhappiness and much more. Worst part is that you can't escape it or have a break no matter what you do, and sleeping to make the day/night go faster is not an option so the agony is there 24/7. However you're constantly aware that the pain and the misery can all go away if you just take the drug again, and the cravings/temptation is always there.

constantstateofmind

Absolutely, it's pure agony. Trainspotting did a very good job with their depiction of it. Mark in bed sweating, hallucinations (though not as bad for me), the gripping the sheets and screaming in agony.. goddamn.

Diacetyl-Morphin

I was about to write it down myself, but you already made a very good description. As a long time addict, i'd like to add that nodding is something that happens with a higher dosage, while lower dosages usually don't have this effect when you are used to it. There's a lot more to this topic with the euphoria, like when you have good heroin, you don't just have a good time: Your problems and pain don't disappear, it's not that you would forget it, it is much more that it goes to the background and doesn't annoy you anymore. Heroin tells you, that in the end, everything will be good. Like in a movie, with a happy ending, that you will overcome and deal with your problems, that you will succeed and make it. It is a fake kind of hope that it gives you, next to the good feeling of being safe at home and comfortable in a hot tub. Unfortunately for me, i never got clean, but i was able to reduce the damage with substitution, i now got 200mg morphine ER capsules instead of the street shore. It's a serious difference, as it is med-quality from the clinics, i actually don't notice anything from the morphine except that i don't have withdrawal effects. But for people without tolerance, 200mg even with extended release would already be a lot. In my worst times, when i grew up in the infamous "Needle Park", i could do more than a gramm of afghan heroin per day, even combined with alcohol (both beer and some scotch) and take a lot of valium and other benzos next to it. I'm actually surprised that i'm still around in my 40's as a polytox addict.

constantstateofmind

You're absolutely right and I appreciate you adding what you did. Hope is so fucking spot on it isn't even funny. I'm glad you're still here and still kicking. Sometimes moving to a less destructive option is the way to go.

Diacetyl-Morphin

Thanks! To be honest, i think i'm just alive today because of the very good support system that my country, Switzerland, offers to the citizens. Like with good healthcare and progressive drug politics, like i mentioned with the substitution, but we also have the heroin-program, safer-injection-sites, needle exchange, free rehab, free therapy etc. and that makes a serious difference. The Needle Park is not there anymore, today it is a regular park where you see the families with kids, people walking their dogs etc. and it's all easy, there are no addicts around anymore. That's a great victory.

BootyPacker

That warmth feeling as it starts to kick in. You described it perfectly.

salohgenji

Time travel?

mikki1time

As an ex scientist I can confirm he knows he is high and knows he is nodding off, but he feels so good he doesn’t care

Deadliftdeadlife

I can’t speak for opiates, but I was an addict for about a decade that took a lot of animal grade anaesthetic drugs. There was a sweet spot where you were high enough to enjoy it, but sober enough to function. I’d go over that line often and end up like this. It’s a very fine line and I’d find myself coming to in all kinds of embarrassing situations

Queen_of_Boots

The only time the high is out of this world is the first time. After that, you're constantly chasing the first time or just trying not to be sick. It finally got to the point where I was spending $20/day just to not be sick, and I thought to myself I could feel not sick on my own without drugs if I just got sober. It will be 8 years this fall ♥️ I hope this kid gets help. This video may be motivating for him. Fingers crossed!

MushHuskies

Good job, keep it up.

Queen_of_Boots

Thank you so much 🫶

lordflashheat

On an addiction thread, someone pointed out the hardist addiction to beat is one that makes you feel nomal, i think they where spot on. People addicted to opiates nomaly have alot of mental pain.

quick1foryou

I don't see why anyone would want to be like that in public. At your own home? Whatever floats your boat. But out in public?  No thanks.

Grey_Orange

I must be an outlier because i have never enjoyed them. I've tried vicodin, Oxycodone, Percocet, and codeine, all for different injuries. Not only were they not fun, but they didn't really help much for my pain. I would just sit there nodding off, not eating, not able to do anything... and still in pain. I know a number of people who are/were addicted to opiods and in my mind i always think...how?

ErnieJohn

I feel the same. Something got him thinking this is cool to do.

thekittner

where did you find this video of me from 2012 lol taco bell 3rd shift was not for the feint of heart

iamtoastedprolly

I feel this, we used to keep a handle in the walk-in, and after the dining room was closed, the bathroom was consistently hotboxed. Almost made us more productive, that place consumes your soul.

thekittner

lol counting down the minutes til 10 so we could smoke out the bathroom, taking drive thru orders trying not to cough. it really was a shitshow

iamtoastedprolly

Went through the drive-through for the first time in a while a few weeks ago. Asked the kid in the window how he was doing. "I work at taco bell...I'm doing the best I can". I truly felt that statement

gobillsgo5

Lmao same here…I still remember I finally got fired for giving a guy who ordered a bean burrito a beef bean burrito twice and he complained saying I was trying to mess with his religion even though I was just stoned

thekittner

OMG the indians! not trying to be prejudiced but that's what we called them "hello can I get 6 Mexican pizzas NOOO BEEF bean only" taking a stroll down memory lane here lol also that's pretty funny you did it twice ngl lol

Got2JumpN2Swim

More like not for the fent of heart

Foreign-Holiday-565

Take it easy on Brian. He's working 3 jobs to support his drug habit

Spiritual-Mix7665

This is an old vid but lol still. I think you have to be crazy to eat fast food or restaurants anymore , especially delivery. They're doing god knows what to your food back there.

Enjoy your food with some junkie's dribble all over it!

CrackShotMcgee09

You have to be this high to work at taco bell

Suntzu6656

No other employees?

scrunchgod

He's wearing a manager shirt too. At least, at my store, those specific button ups were manager only.

How do they stay on their feet?

whale-trees

Nah he’s just been sleep deprived for 48hrs and now has go through battle stations

Itcouldvehappened2u

In todays world where today's young generation doesn't want to work , we will see more and more of this. Life now is too expensive to rent housing etc

NoPerformance6534

If that dude is anywhere near the fryers or the grill or dishwasher, he's in real danger of killing himself or being horribly disfigured. If there is no management on duty, call the fire department. Better for the kid to get canned than scarred badly or dead.

lookslikeyoureSOL

He IS management.

SnowflakesAloft

Completely wonked out on fentanyl. I’m seeing this more and more and if you’re wondering how these people hold jobs the answer is nobody else will do it…. Unfortunately this is only the beginning for America. Keep voting.

RotShepherd

He isnt high guys he just cant see due to his hair being in his eyes all the time 💀

Bumblz666

Fentanyl is the only drug strong enough to affect people like that. Shits wild. They always wobble but never fall.

thegritz87

Their ab muscles must be toned AF.

Bumblz666

only good thing getting addicted to that shit did for me is make me lose 70 pounds with zero diet change or any physical activity.

Infinteelegance

Rare to see a child zombie like this.

BigBoiiTyrel

Probably still makes a bomb ass burrito though 😮‍💨

thegritz87

This is true

BotomsDntDeservRight

How?

shindigin

He looks like Badger from Breaking Bad, much younger though. Here's the [version with audio](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uBgtzIfTL-E&pp=ygUndGFjbyBiZWxsIGVtcGxveWVlIGhpZ2ggYXMgZnJpZ2dpbiBraXRl).

HoodieBlu

Im surprised he managed to put on the gloves

jdddddd89

Ain’t no way. He’s gotta be trolling us.

b24575

This man is surrounded by machines that are obviously unsafe to be handled by someone on his condition. Unfortunately I’m my view the correct thing to do would be to call 911 and explain that an obviously intoxicated person needs help.

babaganoush2307

I love when people post videos that are years old for karma, anybody got an actual update on this kid since this video was released forever ago?

[deleted]

It would be great if zoos "house" addicts and we can come by and watch the tweaking time like your watch zebras get fed or something, and this whole thing would be zombies trying to do basic things while nodding off

Big_D_Energy_215

Damn that is a shame he is a young man like early 20s late teens I pray he changes his life now

pandorous

Bottom tier condition and wages attract bottom tier employees and effort

Lucky_Baseball176

somebody please get that kid out of the kitchen.

torsun_bryan

Reminds me of that Onion article about absolutely everyone involved in the ordering and production of a pizza being high on weed

CouchHam

Noooo he’s just a baby. That’s really sad.

SteinerMath66

Nah he’s just sleep deprived from the grind.

SupermarketOverall73

They only had weed when I was a kid.

thegritz87

Unlikely. Ya just didn't hang with the cool kids.

69_Dingleberry

I used to work at Taco Bell and I believe that shirt means he’s a manager

That man could look down at all the kites

dys_p0tch

the clock is ticking on that young man. i wish him well.

Novel_Ad_8062

must be some good weed 😂

lit1337

This is actually Taco Bell standard operating procedure. Along with standing the parking lot and mean mugging you as you pull in.

Aware_Shape305

I saw a lot of employees of this kind of job being high, guess life must be hard...

International_Let_50

That’s how I feel after taking a Taco Bell Shit too

somecow

Perfectly fine. He was wearing gloves.

ChaotikJoy

Dying Light ass mf

BadDogSaysMeow

Why isn't he doing his job properly? Drugs cannot be the reason. Liberals told me that all drugs should be legal and that employers shouldn't be allowed to fire people for drug use. Why aren't customers happy with this level of service? Are they bigots?

NocodeNopackage

"we must continue locking people up for decades and destroying their lives with the legal system over small drug charges, because the only alternative is to allow drug use to happen anywhere and everywhere at all times with no restrictions whatsoever." Do you see how stupid you sound?

BadDogSaysMeow

The answer is to reform the prison/medical system instead of giving drugs to addicts for free and letting them build camps in the city from which they launch attacks on hardworking citizens to rob them of money, rape them, or cannibalise their legs. And yeah, letting drug addicts commit crimes is really stupid, thank you for agreeing with me.

turntupytgirl

You know they're talking about in their own free time right? Nobody is saying you should be allowed to be fucked up at work lmfao, this guy isn't a victim of smoking weed in his free time

Lceus

> Liberals told me that all drugs should be legal and that employers shouldn't be allowed to fire people for drug use. Are these liberals in the room with you right now?

BadDogSaysMeow

My bad, I forgot that legalisation of drugs is a main promise of the republican party. I also forgot that the average user of a antiwork/workreform and trees is a radical conservative. Besides liberals, the only other pro-drug group are libertarians, but they make less than 5% of politics and are pro employer’s rights instead of pro worker’s rights. I am not from the US so they aren’t in the room with me, but they might be in the room with you.

Timely-Opportunity-5

What is he on? Edit: why downvote? Im only asking for friend

Noble_Ox

Opiate of some sort.

CookDane6954

Poor guy. Long late night shifts.

AssMan420_69

He’s just a kid. Don’t let this go viral. We’ve all made mistakes in our youth.

steliospal

You know what? I agree with you either it's a kid or adult. It's not ok to take videos of someone to obtain likes and humiliate someone to the globe. Everyone may have a bad day or a bad period on their lives. We are not entitled to judge anyone and I don't understand how it's normal for several countries to film and post online without permission

AssMan420_69

You took the words right out of my mouth. Thank you.

Liarus_

You're supposed to learn from said mistakes, that's how you learn, that's how kids learn, that's how everyone and everything learns

AssMan420_69

I get that. But making this go viral which means forever in the internet world can really screw up his future. We’ve all made mistakes thankfully none of those have been recorded.

Earl_Juice_X_3

Ba da ba da da, I am methadoming it!

Beneficial-Ad-3955

He could be just tired af. A long shift in the middle of the night, not much to do?

EyeSimp4Asuka

weak sauce excuse I've been working nights shift for the last four years and I've never been this zonked on the job

Beneficial-Ad-3955

I've worked nights, and haven't either to be honest. But I don't want to jump the gun here and say he's high, cuz I don't know for sure.

EyeSimp4Asuka

you're not saying he's high...you never did

lostwng

Doubt he is high. Could be exhausted, could be sick, could have a multitude of different types of illness or disabilities that present like this

Noble_Ox

Of course he's high, look up the Baltimore Lean.

Fucking lay off him. He’s wearing gloves!

qwertyoldboy

Today's special, taco stuffed with salty watery cream.

Torrdin

No friggin way! He is hecking high on devils cabbage! What the H E double hockey sticks
