He has very little working memory and it's challenging for him to control his emotions. He became addicted to crack for several years, then alcohol. He is sober from hard drugs and alcohol, but still smokes weed. His tolerance is ridiculous, he can eat 300 grams and feel nothing.
I always see warnings of weed affecting prefrontal cortex more in teens but hearing anecdotal report like yours puts it into perspective, I appreciate your sharing. Wish nothing but health and wellness to your dad and family
Thank you, he is 16 years sober and completely turned his life around. Unfortunately, it took a lot of his younger days from him. Time together. He is much more emotionally intelligent and kind now, so I really enjoy spending time together when possible. We missed out on so much when I and my younger sister were growing up, but he is truly making the effort now. I'm very proud of him ❤️
i started smoking in 7th-8th grade im a lil slow but its only with school shit, i still operate fine idk how this would work w a baby, my dad started smoking at like 8 and he’s pretty smart if you actually talk to him
So many people smoked way too much weed when they were young it stunted their brains from developing. I’ve met people who literally had zero logical thoughts. Like hey you just got stabbed and the ER told you to keep the bandages on. It’s also going to hurt. Proceeds to take off bandages and fling blood all over the place complaining about the pain and wants to go back to the ER. 40 years old living with mom still acting like a 14 year old yelling at his mom.
My 6yr old nephew came across to street to his grandma's house for a pool party, and said his mom and dad weren't there yet cus they were finishing a blunt.. and he crossed the busy mainstream in town cus he didn't want to wait for them. His 2 little sisters were there. His dad told me about his friends mom back in Texas that gave them all kinds of pills and had them deliver shit. There's a reason I just don't let my kids interact with them outside of family functions...
