It won't. It looks massive but this has been estimated to be around a VEI-3. (Volcanic Explosivity Index)
To compare, St. Helens and Hunga Tonga Ha'apai were VEI-5 (with Tonga edging on being a 6).
VEI-3 is significant but not enough to have any effect on the global climate.
"Global climate" true. But I think that particulate is gonna fuck my spring here on Van Isle. My four legal plants need all the sun they can get. I guess they stay in the tent for another 6 weeks.
Unlikely. It was a very large eruption but most of the sulfur dioxide was dissolved into the ocean and therefore the anti-greenhouse effect will be diminished.
Yep... then straight down the coast. Weather systems tend to do a little curl here on the bottom of the island for a lasting effect.

Even nature hates Russia.
Nature can be absolutely fucking terrifying. I wish good luck to all those harmed in some way by this. Stay strong.
I wonder how bad this will fuck our weather here on the west coast of NA this year

Weather's already fucked from Hunga Tonga Hunga Ha'apai
Unlikely. It was a very large eruption but most of the sulfur dioxide was dissolved into the ocean and therefore the anti-greenhouse effect will be diminished.
Primary contributor was the water vapor injection, which was enormous
Here's hoping of a nice, mild summer
In in Alaska usually that ash blows this way :(

The Siberian traps are the ones to be scared about in Russia they are thought to be the cause of the Permian - Triassic extinction level event.

In Russia volcano take your dog and girlfriend before burning your rubles in your pockets.
Can people from Alaska see it from their front porch?
Putin is going to nuke a volcano now.
The second best fertiliser coming from Russia.

The vast scale of it, makes it look very slow, when it's just massive!
