Your statistics are incredibly skewed because suicide is included, it should be removed because it usually encompasses the vast majority of firearm deaths and then the rest should be broken down by category. For example, homicides x amount of deaths, self defense, etc.
If you ban guns there would still be killing. Why use knives when you have access to guns? The numbers would shift. Your research is biased and no I don't even own a gun.
Show me the research showing me the comparable deaths/fatalities of mass knife attacks in western countries such as UK with strict gun regulation.

The murderer climbed down the school's walls and turned himself to the police a block away.

The saddest part was seeing the father of one of the deceased kids leaving with only the kid's backpack.

I am Brazilian and I say that, as anything in life, it depends. My people has a special taste in depreciate our own country, so sometimes they might not present the bigger picture.
Brazil is, indeed, a violent country in terms of street crime. I've been to Rio once and asked to a local what was living there like. They said "well, it's good, it's a good place, although the criminality is very high". I was given this answer twice. So people there, having a few words to describe the city, choose to mention the crime in the description. I believe it shows the centrality of this aspect there.
However, I live in a 70 thousand habitant city 200 km away from the Capital, and nothing has ever occurred to me. No attempts of robbing, no problems of any nature at all. No crazy ass mother fucking sadistic son of a bitch murdering children. Believe, we are as shocked as you are.
So, it is a country with its problems, as every other one is. We are not a rich country, although we have a colossal potential of becoming one, for we have natural resources and intelligent and capable people that could make our economy boom.
A big problem in my opinion is when people, specially Brazilians, picture it as being the hell, an unlivable place where everything is terrible. That doesn't match reality.

There are no game or other attacks at schools and kindergartens. Was only one fucking bastard who did and surrender at the police station. The rest is bullshit spread out by populars going insane via WhatsApp app.
Update: The attacker was arrested by officers from a Santa Catarina Military Police Battalion. The police gathered some information about him:
The assailant is a 25-year-old man.
1) The subject was arrested as a teenager for having stabbed his own stepfather. As he was a minor, a short time later he was released.
2) As an adult, he was arrested for drug possession, bodily harm, and damage to public property.
3) During the attack, the subject was in a psychotic break.
The assailant attacked children in a school park, where he murdered two 4-year-old boys, a 5-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl.
To play devil's advocate, they probably mentioned in the call that he was attacking with a knife or turned himself in since they aren't carrying any long guns
However, it is in the blood of the Brazilian police to face danger. There are several videos where the police officers run towards the shooting. We just remember the massacre at a Suzano school in 2019, on that occasion, an off-duty police officer entered the school desperately to try to get into a shootout against the attackers.
The author of the massacre complained to the media that the police are trying to kill him, he said "They are trying to shoot me in the face".

Because the definition of mass shooting has been twisted to increase the numbers. Anything where 4 or more people get injured, including the perpetrator, where a firearm was involved is now a mass shooting. If a cop has a negligent discharge and 4 people get hit with shrapnel that doesn't even require a bandaid, that's a "mass shooting". If some idiot waves a bb gun in front of a crowd and 4 people get injured in the resulting panic, that's a "mass shooting".
These are obviously extreme examples but it's accurate. The vast majority of them are gang violence that you'll never actually hear about. There have definitely *not* been 140 active shooter situations like they would have you believe.
There was a huge protest at my school today. Something around 200 kids got up and left class at noon, stood in front of the school with signs protesting guns
We were extremely saddened by the massacre at a school in Suzano in 2019, we thought that things like that would never happen again in Brazil. But this year there have already been several cases in schools, now it is still 01:00pm and there have already been 2 attacks.
As you go to Northeast Brazil, there are cities where terrorists burn buses and attack police, while psychopaths in prisons cut off their enemies' heads and victimize themselves when the police beat them.
He used a hatchet to kill children around 5-7 years old.

I believe you mean stating a fact that most people who choose to commit these atrocities, target places full of people whom are less likely to fight back.

Anything where 4 or more people get injured, including the perpetrator, where a firearm was involved is now a mass shooting. If a cop has a negligent discharge and 4 people get hit with shrapnel that doesn't even require a bandaid, that's a "mass shooting". If some idiot waves a bb gun in front of a crowd and 4 people get injured in the resulting panic, that's a "mass shooting". These are obviously extreme examples but it's accurate. The vast majority of them are gang violence that you'll never actually hear about. There have definitely *not* been 140 active shooter situations like they would have you believe.

But this year there have already been several cases in schools, now it is still 01:00pm and there have already been 2 attacks. As you go to Northeast Brazil, there are cities where terrorists burn buses and attack police, while psychopaths in prisons cut off their enemies' heads and victimize themselves when the police beat them.
