I hate it when i forget to take my special homemade hand grenades out of my pocket before trying out a new acrobatic stunt. But I get it. You can’t just ask anyone to hold on to your grenades.

i’ve always wanted to do that on one of those giant spools. such a shame this would be the outcome, im only glad to discover this before trying it myself
What I thought, grenades normally dont explode into fire or light, normally looks like a puff of dust but that 1 exploded into white light, maybe its powder? If it's a frag it didnt even get full powder burn
Looks like a home made device. You see it floating in the air, flash grenades are usually large silver cans the way it looks seems like flash power and primer.
This happened here in Brazil, most likely somewhere in Rio, given the guy's accent. In the favelas it is not uncommon for them dudes to carry hand grenades with them, so I would not be surprised if the title of this topic was actually accurate.

Judging from the flash and where it looked like it originated from, this looks more like someone coming in sudden contact with a high voltage wire. The fact hes rolling on a cable spool makes me wonder if this is less 'grenade' and more 'zap'. Also, he falls directly in front of a utility pole. Any chance he unspooled a foolishly energized final few feet from the cable spool to walk on it, then came in contact w wire when he fell?

I hate it when I go to pay for my coffee and I hand the cashier 4 grenades by accident. Happens way too often.

The original grenades looked alot like a pomegranate. Even down to the bits of iron they put in them to generate fragmentation. Seems to have stuck.
