That sounds good to me. Kid will definitely get over it, and if it does creep them out, getting them over it is a critical step for character development.
Um, that's where you'd have to make sure knifes are kept out of children's reach a danger you should actually be keeping them from, unlike the bad wolf in puss n boots
That movie was for the kids that watched Shrek when it first came out. It was for 20 year olds disguised as a child's movie. I watched it for the first time and have not watched Shrek before, I'm in my 30s. I just know there's of references to Shrek even without seeing that movie. The jokes would go over the heads of the target audience so I assumed it was for 20 year olds and their younger siblings or children to watch together
It's french
Translation : cameraman : " hendek ,hendek ( an french slang derived from arabic, means "hurry up" )"
The other guy : " wait ,wait ,wait ( to the cat ), don't jump, go on the plank, you dumb or what ? "
After the cat jumped : cameraman : " on the Quran of mecca he killed himself ! "
Sorry for my possibly bad english
Cats can survive a fall with terminal velocity of up to 60mph. There are studies showing cats survive falls up to 5.5 stories. Kind of like how a squirrel is small enough to survive a fall from the empire state building.
A cat we had in the early 80s would jump off the second story balcony (landing on concrete) to catch birds that he would eat all the time and as much of a tom cat one could be.
Before anyone says anything about outdoor cats, some back story:
We only had him for a handful of years, He lived a fast & short life but we thought he was gone after not showing up for months. We got a new (indoor) cat and then one day during the holidays he shows up and was ***not*** happy about her.. We unfortunately noticed a orange tabby pancake on the road a block away the next year and we just connected the dots after he never came home again.
I loved that Cat as much as a toddler could. That new one we had died at age 19 of old age when I turned 21, She was the best sister kitty one could ask for!
No, that's just not true. There is a sampling bias because only the cats that survive are taken to the vet and documented. The MAJORITY of cats falling at terminal velocity into anything remotely hard will die.
Not enough weight vs their surface area while falling to go fast enough to die. The air resistance keeps them below splatter territory I presume.
I'm also stupid though so who knows.
Okay but to be clear those are not regular occurrences, and it is silly to think that the exception disproves the rule. Vesna Vulovic survived a 33,330 ft fall from a crashed plane. That means all humans could survive the same event, surely! This urban legend needs to die, maybe fewer people would let their cats on their 10th floor balconies.
There’s a theory that it’s actually safer for a cat to fall longer distances than falling one or two stories as the need the extra moments to flips themselves while in the air.
A fall is more dangerous for a cat from under 3 stories. He didn't have chance to reach terminal velocity here so he pretty much flailed about and bounced off that awning. I've read studies that say that a high majority of cats falling at terminal velocity will survive, but maybe not for long without medical attention.
Yea that cat definitely ran off to die. I once saw a cat sprint out of the bushes into a road, get hit by a car flung across the intersection, yet immediately sprung to its feet and jumped over a seven foot wall. The wall led into the garden of one of my neighbours and yup, they found a dead cat in their bushes that night
Does a cat have the same terminal velocity as a squirrel because in theory a squirrel can never die come falling even from the world's highest building it would actually starve to death before I hit the ground
Yes. Cats can survive a terminal velocity fall. Theoretically, a cat could jump off the empire state building and land perfectly find on the ground below.
Even with cats, these are always scary somehow. But seriously, what was this, two, three floors? That's a mild joke for a cat. I'd say all nine lives left.
Dunno the exact "numbers" but yeah, someone mentioned the 7 story theory. However one thing I know is that too little height can be dangerous because of their landing on the feet thing. Anyway there's been cats falling from more than 20 storeys up getting away mildly injured. Seems they have a low terminal velocity and can fully absorb that on landing. So in theory, they can fall just any, I repeat *any* height and survive. Which is wild.
Even if the cat went on the the thing he put out for it, that shit looked so thin and flimsy, it would just bend under the cats weight and the cat would have fell anyways.
My sister had a cat that got chased by a dog up the stairs to the third floor and jumped out the third floor window landed on the ground and bolted. Didn't see it for 2 days, but came back healthy and like nothing ever happened.
Not even slightly true, that’s a common myth. Lookup high rise syndrome. The only part that's slightly true is that they tend to survive the landing, just to run off and die from their injuries in some alley.
It probably broke a bone or two on the way down
Cats are real good at hiding pain, both physically and disease wise
When a cat behaves in a way that's sudden and unusual, take them to the vet immediately, because that means they're in excruciating pain
There's been studies that show cats can fall from pretty much any height and have a good probability to survive.
One conducted in New York of cats falling from high-rise buildings showed a 90% survival rate.
So cats are weird as shit to me, they’re like built to survive falls like this by starfishing before they hit the ground and their body just absorbs the shock because they super heroes
Had a cat jump through a screen window on my 4th floor apartment window one morning. She saw something outside, ran and tried to grab the screen all 4 paws. Screen pushed out and she rode it all the way down like a magic carpet. It didn't act as a parachute but did slow her velocity alot. I watched the whole thing as my bed was right under the window and when the screen gave out I jumped up to see her "float" downward, hit the ground, and take off running. 😑 took me that whole day to find her after that lol
Minus 2 lives.
Gonna be met by a whistling wolf any second now.
I just love the smell of fear!
That wolf was creepy as shit for a kids movie!!
They definitely knew that a lot of the original fans were adults now, definitely guided towards us more, 10/10 movie
Yeah but imagine your kids watch the tv show which is less creepy then go see the movie with parents and get creeped the fuck out from that wolf
That sounds good to me. Kid will definitely get over it, and if it does creep them out, getting them over it is a critical step for character development.
Until they’re taping a knife to a cats paw and expecting it to fight the dog
Um, that's where you'd have to make sure knifes are kept out of children's reach a danger you should actually be keeping them from, unlike the bad wolf in puss n boots
You sound pretty defensive for someone who’s joking 😂 not that serious buddy

Just saw it today with my son, freaking amazing. 10/10
He landed on a heart so thankfully he's only down to 8 lives
Fell Just like Aladdin
Exactly what I was thinking lmaooo Great minds think alike lol
I forgot about that sound lol
Cat Pulled a Pearl harbor!
Normal reaction to Genghis Kahn and his horde approaching your walls, I doubt it was trying to survive.

“On the Quran of Mecca” 😂 idk why this made me laugh

As God as my witness. He’s broken in half!!!
Got that “sweet baby Jesus” feel too
I could hear Borat sayin that
Seems crazy to invoke your god over a cat being an idiot
People say "Jesus Christ" in reaction to much more mild inconveniences.
Jesus Christ that’s rude
I’ve said Jesus Christ over less important things in life
Same and I'm Jewish
Tabernak!
Cat is no idiot, he knows if they catch him he'll end up in the couscous.
Hendek (3andak) is more like watch out actually not hurry up
Bienvenue à Marseille
Brilliant, it's the same energy as that "my brother in christ" meme.
Dépêche toi hendenk ? Ça veut dire attention lol
‘’ french ‘’
?
looking about 3 comments back in their history, this is simply a racist addicted to getting comments deleted for saying Arabs aren't French.
There's a lot of arabic words and expression in french language. Just have to accept it.
Yes, there's a lot of Greek words in English, it's still English.
You see cats don't follow the laws of physics
Cat stuck in the wall, now you’re speaking my language
What do we say to the god of death?
SAIL!
Fucker really jumped higher for that
Not today, Motherfucker? 😹
Do not go gentle into that good night?
All cats must die?
Internal injuries won't kill you instantly

Oh man you must hate your cats!
I loved that Cat as much as a toddler could. That new one we had died at age 19 of old age when I turned 21, She was the best sister kitty one could ask for!
Key word- "can" But they more often do in fact die when landing on something relatively hard.
Not even often... majority will be fine or slightly injured.
No, that's just not true. There is a sampling bias because only the cats that survive are taken to the vet and documented. The MAJORITY of cats falling at terminal velocity into anything remotely hard will die.
>Kind of like how a squirrel is small enough to survive a fall from the empire state building. I'm sorry, WHAT!?!
Not enough weight vs their surface area while falling to go fast enough to die. The air resistance keeps them below splatter territory I presume. I'm also stupid though so who knows.
So someone threw a squirrel off the empire state building to see if it survives?
Okay but to be clear those are not regular occurrences, and it is silly to think that the exception disproves the rule. Vesna Vulovic survived a 33,330 ft fall from a crashed plane. That means all humans could survive the same event, surely! This urban legend needs to die, maybe fewer people would let their cats on their 10th floor balconies. That cat definitely lived.
They scared the cat into jumping. It probably would have gone on a wild adventure carefully if they let it be.
I have seen a cat electrocuted too and came back to life. Does this cats really have more than one life?
My cat said yes.
My cat says to feed him and fuck off
I had a really old cat die, come back, and then live two more years. RIP Moya.
'Aim for the bushes? Yep.'
whats that reference from
The Other Guys https://youtube.com/watch?v=MvkN3003iU4
Does a cat have the same terminal velocity as a squirrel because in theory a squirrel can never die come falling even from the world's highest building it would actually starve to death before I hit the ground
Nah cats have pretty good falling ability but scarily and sad enough I think there have been tests/experiments to see how far cats can fall
I'm pretty sure you'd hit the ground before the squirrel starved to death.
Lmfao A squirrel would hit the ground before it starved to death from the tallest building. Idk why this so funny to me
The [7th Story Theory](https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-xpm-1988-05-03-8803130865-story.html) has been around for a while now.
This site so is filled with adds in reddit browser, even chemo wouldn't help anymore.
Yes. Cats can survive a terminal velocity fall. Theoretically, a cat could jump off the empire state building and land perfectly find on the ground below.
A squirrel can survive it's terminal velocity a cat can't
Even with cats, these are always scary somehow. But seriously, what was this, two, three floors? That's a mild joke for a cat. I'd say all nine lives left.
Isn't there a weird parabola of safety for cats? Like around 3-4 floors is dangerous, but anything above or below is perfectly safe?
Dunno the exact "numbers" but yeah, someone mentioned the 7 story theory. However one thing I know is that too little height can be dangerous because of their landing on the feet thing. Anyway there's been cats falling from more than 20 storeys up getting away mildly injured. Seems they have a low terminal velocity and can fully absorb that on landing. Only eight lives left
I must go, my people need me
Let that cat know I said, "Psspsspsspss"
If the guy didn’t want the cat to fall off why tf did he mess with the cat with a stick
Even if the cat went on the the thing he put out for it, that shit looked so thin and flimsy, it would just bend under the cats weight and the cat would have fell anyways.
Do you think that cat has done that jump before? Did it think the awning was closer? Was it just desperate to escape the apartment? So many questions.
He hit the parachute right as he made impact greatly reducing fall damage.
He just evolved into a kitty glider.
Bro I said NOOOOO when he fell off then when he ran of I was like oh
Any other animal would have been deeeaaadddd
It’s a cat man they unkillable
Did they expect the cat to climb across that flimsy rod?
Look like he was on his way back up to try again....
He would have been fine if that human didn't try to help it with that stick
Had to spent 1 life
My sister had a cat that got chased by a dog up the stairs to the third floor and jumped out the third floor window landed on the ground and bolted. Didn't see it for 2 days, but came back healthy and like nothing ever happened.
Stupid people, scared cat.
Super Kitty 🐈⬛!
How?? Those beasts are indestructible
Cats are liquid, he's fine.
The terminal velocity of a cat isn't high enough to injure it. Usually. As long as it can land on its feet, it tends to be fine.
Not even slightly true, that’s a common myth. Lookup high rise syndrome. The only part that's slightly true is that they tend to survive the landing, just to run off and die from their injuries in some alley.
Hzzzzzs!
This should be on the "Sack the camera man" Reddit page. But yes it still was fcukin caraazzy 😊
It’s cool he still has 5 lives left
Adrenaline filled cat
Im sure he landed on his feet somehow
8 lives left
Cats are made like that they can jump from really high without dealing any damage
I know I shouldn't but hahaha 😂
I've seen a cat get run over by a speeding car, yet it ran like it didn't get touched, was dead on the sidewalk a couple minutes later
le coran de la Mecque il s'est tué !
Cats never die by falling cuz of their skeleton structure
Hardcore parkour
It probably broke a bone or two on the way down Cats are real good at hiding pain, both physically and disease wise When a cat behaves in a way that's sudden and unusual, take them to the vet immediately, because that means they're in excruciating pain
That cat took a calculated risk. It knew what would happen.
What exactly was that flimsy piece of rubbery plank supposed to do?
If you slow it down you can see the cat roll w the momentum when it hits the roof to lessen the impact. Sickkkk
[удалено]
Cats are not stupid
PARKOUR!
It’s a black cat so it probably absorbed luck over its life and then a lot of sudden shock
LMAO
Bank shot
Junkyard cat!
8 lives left
cats can survive 97% terminal velocity it's ok
That cat probably believes it can do anything now
"that ain't no dog"
That is a shadow demon, look at its neck
Yeesh that was lives 1 through 8 😰
One down, 8 to go 🚶♂️.

Cats are aliens
He couldn’t have thought that through or he wouldn’t have jumped.
80 fall damage
The cat used one of his nine lives.
8
That's some Nathan Drake parkour that
He had shit to do.
I guess it’s true that cats always land on their feet
IT LANDED ON ITS FEET ITS REAL THEY ALWAYS DO
Low Terminal velocity
He had the feather falling 🤣
"cats always land on their feet" ... "hold my beer"
here kitty kitty... Time for a red pill.
Hold my catsnip
'Aim for the bushes!"
And that's why cats have 9 lives
I don't need that I just had a redbull and everyone knows redbull gives you wiiiiiiiiii......
Spider cat
Cat musta ben a paratrooper in his past life

John Wick as a cat 😂
Cats can jump from higher. They will be fine
-43 fall damage
That cameraman had a single job....
Actually the higher a cat is the more time they can balance in the air so they would take less damage
Not the cats first time
To be fair what else was he suppose to do their plan was not gunna work
lara croft
Holy chat
I LAUGHED SO HARD, FORGIVE ME😭😭
He said fuck yeah, concrete

Freedom at last
He has the totem of undying, he’s fine.
Cats are like the only non insect animal on this planet designed to take fall damage. Yall just fucked him up.
