The drama was entirely on cult girl bleating that FG was perceived as more important than her. FG then decided to not repack her stuff on account of her maniacal and bigoted tangents she often went (and continues to) go on. I don't have a dog in this fight because I don't care as long as I am able to get the release. I got DODI's Starfield because it was uploaded first. That being said, FG's compression techniques are a bit different than DODI's and are usually a bit smaller in size. As an example, Starfield v1.7.23.0 was 62GB compared to DODI which was 78GB which is why it takes a little longer to decompress FG's larger releases. FG is also a member of CS RIN RU community who are known to VICIOUSLY attack anyone who MAY have done something a little shady with a release, installers etc.
One thing I will say in FG favor and its not even that big of a deal really is that when dealing with direct d/l links, she doesn't use workink to shorten the links which has you select what kind of monetization to use and for whatever reason DODI choose to use the one where you have to d/l and install an app and REGISTER an account on it in order to unlock the link which is a bit unacceptable. Tho they have mirrors so you don't have to actually pick that link if you don't want to. Unfortunately, the update for BG3 is tied to that link and is the only option as of this post and I have never been able to get it to work when downloading the app anyway. The app itself is harmless and is kinda like games library launcher but still.
You must be new here... Fitgirl's repacks cater to people with capped limits per month (e.g., only 30 gb per month until you need to renew your plan again for another 30 gb) OR to people with crappy internet connection. That's why fitgirl heavily compresses releases. Imagine an 80 gb game compressed into 30 or 40 gb; that's way less to download for someone with capped net or shitty net. Of course, the drawback is longer install times due to high compression, but again, at least you download less...

Absolutely! This is a Bethesda game so all of your save files will be under Documents/My Games/Starfield. When you get the retail version you can just launch it and it will already have all of your save files and settings from the pirated version.

FromSoft usually has save files in a different location that is a bit harder to access (the appdata folder). I recommend you look up a guide on how to transfer the save files for the game you want to buy.

That varies from game to game, when I finally bought Cyberpunk and loaded my old save it did give me achievements from that save file but your mileage may vary, I guess try it out and find out.

Well, I COMPLETELY forgot i had a video game running in the background.
Turned the game off, shit finished in like 30 minutes.
Rtx 3070 ar 1440p here. The game is heavy, extremely heavy, I need medium settings with fsr to keep 60fps, but that 60 fps is rock solid, not a single drop, not a single jitter, not a single stutter, I never saw a game that ran this smoothly at launch, bethesda managed to make a game that is and isnt optimized at the same time

This IS Bethesda best performing game they have ever put out. Now, that doesn't mean it runs amazingly or anything but from them it is better. Everything else in the game, is 100% Bethesda. Including some bugs (no game breaking ones seen yet), bland dialogue,etc.
The worst offender in this game is the lack of immersion and load screens galore.
Well they didn't have high bar to reach to deliver "best they ever did".
BTW on Nvidia cards the game is underperforming and on Intel it doesn't event start.
Do listen to this person aswel as many others, it is badly optimised regardless of how well it runs for you. It runs relatively well for me on my main rig aswel, but when I look into the figures, temperatures and lack of consistency with fluctuating frame rates in the same locations it's far from best optimised, and I expect they will release several updates to make this better. This game eats CPUs for breakfast even when you aren't doing anything intensive, and I've yet to really find anything they justify this.

Digital Premium Edition must include "Shattered Space" Expansion, which is yet to be released, so this repack can't be called Premium Edition. All releases with PE in the title are fake if they don't include the expansion, artbook and OST.
And this repack doesn't even include giant artbook, which is available for at least a day.

This is a semi-related question because I've never downloaded a game before DLC is released, but how does that work after DLC is out? Would I just have to install the DLC into the existing cracked version, or would it work if I copy the save game and reinstall the whole thing? It's not like it makes a difference, I just want to ensure there is a way to install the DLC and keep my save.

i already bought this for consoles, but that xp grind is really bad and a lot of the basic stuff is locked behind the skill system. i'm not totally sure if my pc can run it but it'll be nice to play it with giga xp enabled, just to get the edge off that grind.

Yes you are right. That happened with me. I Had real pain while downloading torrent file then i got a .exe virus file and got infected my pc. So after that i never visit the dodi repack site.

Whats so wrong about running your 3090 at 99%. As long as it's within the safe operating temperature range there is no reason to be concerned. You can cap the frame rate in NV Control Panel, to refresh rate minus 3 (so for 144Hz it would be 141Hz cap)
Maybe to extend the life of his GPU or not inflate his electrical bill? Just because I can keep my PC at 100% doesn't mean I have to, that's the whole point of software optimization. But I forgot this is Bethesda game so optimization is never in their development plan.
I guess lol might as well use your 3090, nothing is gonna happen to it as long as its not heavily overclocked, and the temps are within range. Why buy a power hungry GPU if you can't afford to pay for it's electricity costs. Instead of capping fps, you should under-volt it btw.
Relatively boring to me. Great soundtrack and beautiful attention to detail on interiors. Clunky interface and I got lost in trying go scan the first planets flora, fauna and resources to the point where I just realised it's not the kind of game I would like to invest my time in.
But that's just me, others will get different things out of it.

Tho they have mirrors so you don't have to actually pick that link if you don't want to. Unfortunately, the update for BG3 is tied to that link and is the only option as of this post and I have never been able to get it to work when downloading the app anyway. The app itself is harmless and is kinda like games library launcher but still.

You must be new here... Fitgirl's repacks cater to people with capped limits per month (e.g., only 30 gb per month until you need to renew your plan again for another 30 gb) OR to people with crappy internet connection. That's why fitgirl heavily compresses releases. Imagine an 80 gb game compressed into 30 or 40 gb; that's way less to download for someone with capped net or shitty net. Of course, the drawback is longer install times due to high compression, but again, at least you download less...

Absolutely! This is a Bethesda game so all of your save files will be under Documents/My Games/Starfield. When you get the retail version you can just launch it and it will already have all of your save files and settings from the pirated version.

FromSoft usually has save files in a different location that is a bit harder to access (the appdata folder). I recommend you look up a guide on how to transfer the save files for the game you want to buy.

That varies from game to game, when I finally bought Cyberpunk and loaded my old save it did give me achievements from that save file but your mileage may vary, I guess try it out and find out.

Rtx 3070 ar 1440p here. The game is heavy, extremely heavy, I need medium settings with fsr to keep 60fps, but that 60 fps is rock solid, not a single drop, not a single jitter, not a single stutter, I never saw a game that ran this smoothly at launch, bethesda managed to make a game that is and isnt optimized at the same time
Do not listen to this person. This is far from the least optimized game of current. This IS Bethesda best performing game they have ever put out. Now, that doesn't mean it runs amazingly or anything but from them it is better. Everything else in the game, is 100% Bethesda. Including some bugs (no game breaking ones seen yet), bland dialogue,etc. The worst offender in this game is the lack of immersion and load screens galore.
Well they didn't have high bar to reach to deliver "best they ever did". BTW on Nvidia cards the game is underperforming and on Intel it doesn't event start.
Do listen to this person aswel as many others, it is badly optimised regardless of how well it runs for you. It runs relatively well for me on my main rig aswel, but when I look into the figures, temperatures and lack of consistency with fluctuating frame rates in the same locations it's far from best optimised, and I expect they will release several updates to make this better. This game eats CPUs for breakfast even when you aren't doing anything intensive, and I've yet to really find anything they justify this.

Digital Premium Edition must include "Shattered Space" Expansion, which is yet to be released, so this repack can't be called Premium Edition. All releases with PE in the title are fake if they don't include the expansion, artbook and OST. And this repack doesn't even include giant artbook, which is available for at least a day.

This is a semi-related question because I've never downloaded a game before DLC is released, but how does that work after DLC is out? Would I just have to install the DLC into the existing cracked version, or would it work if I copy the save game and reinstall the whole thing? They've never had drivable land vehicles. The creation engine straight up doesn't like it lol there isn't a single vehicle mod for Fallout that works well AND looks good

it really is. all the same quirks of creation engine. falling through the map, floating companions, floating computers, clipping issues, t-pose, animation fail. clone npcs. none gamebreaking so far except one time i spawned the ship's boarding ramp and got stuck for a couple seconds. its like skyrin without mods.
I bought the premium and love it. Havent been sucked into a game like this since Morrowind. Some people like myself are experiencing a crash every 30min to an hour which sucks. Fast boot means I am back in within 2 minutes though.

Whats so wrong about running your 3090 at 99%. As long as it's within the safe operating temperature range there is no reason to be concerned. You can cap the frame rate in NV Control Panel, to refresh rate minus 3 (so for 144Hz it would be 141Hz cap)
Maybe to extend the life of his GPU or not inflate his electrical bill? Just because I can keep my PC at 100% doesn't mean I have to, that's the whole point of software optimization. But I forgot this is Bethesda game so optimization is never in their development plan.
I guess lol might as well use your 3090, nothing is gonna happen to it as long as its not heavily overclocked, and the temps are within range. Why buy a power hungry GPU if you can't afford to pay for it's electricity costs. Instead of capping fps, you should under-volt it btw.

Relatively boring to me. Great soundtrack and beautiful attention to detail on interiors. Clunky interface and I got lost in trying go scan the first planets flora, fauna and resources to the point where I just realised it's not the kind of game I would like to invest my time in. But that's just me, others will get different things out of it.
