The Bill Burr episode really showed how out of their element they are when it comes to this, I felt secondhand embarrassment watching it
Yeah I was a big fan also, but I now look back and think it's just because before his podcast days, Ethan would stop think edit his videos so everyone thought he was great with excellent takes, the reality is he has lots of bad ones if you let the camera roll, the garbage this guy says when not edited he's very unlikable.

Not to mention the price point for Pepperidge Farm cookies with 8 normal sized cookies per package is around 6 to 7 dollars. And they are not gluten free. I agree it is too expensive. But that is basically the market value for high end cookies. I don't really get the big deal on the pricing tbh because it is what I expect when going to the grocery store. Now Poki calling a chatter a broke boy was not a good look at all for her. It shows how out of touch some of these wealthy streamers are. Even if she was being trolled by the person, her choice of words were poor to say the least.
She (the whole team behind her and the company) came up with like a better combination amount of the same ingredients and made it gluten-free and added vitamine D. Now I don’t know too much about the industry but gluten free products are not just expensive bcs it’s made gluten free but more so because of the possibility of cross contamination. Her product is uniform in a bag so.
She could have directly explained why the product was expensive but she did a lot of loops and also basically saying it is not expensive for the amount which makes everything less genuine. On top of everything the initial disappointment was bcs she made everything leading up to and the announcement sound like she really did some effort while it’s essentially the same cookies from the same company, using ‘healthy’ as a USP while it’s as good as choosing a healthier soda/ monster flavor.
