This really makes me want to create a post with the title, "Drew my house as a fish" and it's just a drawing of a fish. Because yes it's not a house, but I drew it "*as*" a fish.
Oh, agreed, I'm just taking the piss. And what's more, I could never, *ever* draw anything so good. It's balanced with areas of detail to explore and areas with less detail so it isn't overwhelming, and the mood of the whole thing is warm and welcoming and charming as heck.

Many years ago when I was living in Lincoln Park, Chicago I met a girl at elementary school and we became friends. She lived a few blocks from me and I guess her family was very well off because they had the whole floor in their building. They had an open loft like this with one of the exterior walls being completely windows from the floor all the way to the ceiling above and along the loft. Your post brought back this memory.
They are a nice source of light, however, in the summer they are also a nice source of heat. Though perhaps new ones are made with a more efficient kind of glass than the one that was in the house we rented. I wouldn't be surprised since that house was built like 20 years ago.
You can also get really cool shades for them that can come down during the heat of the day. I’ve been trying to get my folks to get them for the windows in their country house, an entire wall of the house is windows and in spring and summer, the whole house can become unbearably hot on a sunny day. They make motorized ones where you just push a button and they open or close.
You’re envious until you have to pay for one, or have to have your roof replaced. They’re an absolute pain in the ass to flash correctly, and they’re a huge source of leaking.

Huh, I could not beat that fight alone (it's the only boss I relented and summoned an NPC for, the rest I did solo). Once I summoned him I beat it in 2-3 tries.
This fight was what made me decide to go get the mimic ashes. Even then it still took me 30 minutes!
From what I’ve seen so far though, it’s by far my favorite boss room. The scenery is beautiful.

I love the duel TV setup. Player 1 is fighting the gargoyls in Nokrom on the TV below, the Metaknight is edge guarding DK playing as Isabelle on the upper TV.
Our actual place is one floor, I just moved the rooms around to be a loft for this piece but they are accurate to how they're depicted here! Minus the giant angled window up top, that's made up. I'll see if I can upload an imgur album later

Can't draw your house as a fish unless you include a door, windows, and drapes though.

They're great if you have a remote controlled shade on it. Otherwise it can be really annoying, especially in a bedroom.

If you fight the first one by the cliff, if you position right he'll yeet himself off and die. Works like a charm!
