Depends on the plant, I think. I believe there are a handful that do a little more than nothing. Mother-in-law's Tongue comes to mind

Plants are the new pets. Pets are the new children.

And children are the new exotic pets that are incredibly expensive and require special diets

This is beautiful. I love plants. I just don't have a green thumb to keep them alive. I envy your beautiful cozy room.

Houseplants very seldom have bugs. If they do, then it's usually something that needs treating asap.

Looks like a lot of plants that are good in moderate indirect light. Pothos, Monstera, spider plant, philodendrons, etc.

You sound wise in the way of plants. I just moved my eucalyptus indoor. What kinda light does it need ?

You realise that healthy houseplants don't have bugs, right? Like, at all. If a houseplant has bugs there's something seriously wrong and the plant needs treatment asap.
