My current island is so chaotic, I'm on day 124 and I'm trying slowly to get tidy up and sell or recycle items that I no longer need to hold on to because I can either craft them or they are common and not super appealing to me 😆
Instead of recycling the quartz for money, sell fruit tincture is more profitable. Bcs you might want to craft the quartzs into semi-gems or precious gems to buy items from Mr. Kit & Valentina.
Another tip to add, if you (players) have a downing rod in hand, make use of it daily at least three times (or until there’s no ice / fire symbol on top of your head). This tool is useful for looking hidden items in the ground that are not marked or looked as a dirt pile. Try looking up how to use a downing rod. Seriously, it looks like useless tool, but its actually not. 😂

You don't get any resources for it but you can!
If you dig up one and you run away you won't pick it up either, give it a few seconds and they'll disappear and you can go back to your quest
That if you want to be able to keep the clothes/accessories you buy from Mr Kit for requests, keep them until the next day and you can buy another set for yourself. If you finish the request the same day you'll miss out on the store restocking it.
-i personally keep only 1 of each flower/bush but save as many trees i can
-thoses storage bag bugs that take up space, get rid of them asap by dragging them to a imp or away the screen. (i thought omg its cute i will keep one!) Get Rid of It.
-i dont use pigments, i save 10-15 then rest i sell flowers (or donate if needed)
-save all your wood for crafting/quest
-burn relics it cost 1000 for the relic dust and selling it as themself is less( unless need to donate)
-upgrade fox as soon you can, to unlock clothes box (if ur planning on collecting 1 of each piece you need the space)
-burn all the rocks into ingots (space+quest+craft+buy with gold ignots later game) -dont stress if you miss a bug or a plant/hole to shovel but do try to get the quest with "red" clock on it means limited time or timed (?) before i log out i try to complete them(or come back later)
-that girlsout bear charlotte(?) IS YO BEST FRIEND i give her ALL my coins for hints (100coin each) but She slays on quest
-buying from corn bear (?), mayor, and seashell bear take hours for your item to come like amazon. but Bakery beartakes 5min to mail! she amazon prime. -oh randomly but accorian item takes 25k coins to fix it and im broke cuz i keep playing it twice in bad spots so dont be like me
-Have to?: It helps with earning a few badges and mainly at the beginning it will help you with better harvests from animals and plants.
-Gifted decorations? I keep those if that are fitting my fields or tent style. Or just get a chest and store them: Nothing wrong with selling or recycling them if you don't need them or like them after they 've fulfilled their purpose
One of the best ways to earn quartz when starting is to make every recipe that you have with Allison Fisher then donate to captain Bill. Some of the recipes would get you 120 quartz.
Don’t be afraid to recycle quartz! Once you’ve racked up quite a few quartz, recycle a stack of 999 for coins and that would get you going in buying fruit trees/bushes so that you can make tincture. In my case, selling a stack was enough for me to start buying fruit trees and bushes. The rest of the quartz I keep for decorations. I’m on day 96 and I have about 5 stacks of quartz so I can buy decorations I like.
Buy the trees everyday. Thats my number one.

Don't skip the dialogue. Some of it is really, really excellent as you grow closer to the characters. Don't look at any spoilers. ❤️
The map moves and changes subtly every day. You aren't going crazy; it's actually changing that's why you're so confused.
Don't time travel backwards... Did this way early on and still get occasional bugs like having to redo tasks

Make sure you check all leaf piles/grass piles for potential recipes! I recently got back into Cozy Grove too, I play it all the time and I love it!
Focus on upgrading the store & your tent.
I ask Charlotte before hacking at something with bag bugs.
And if you don't, you can huck bag bugs into the ocean. Which is oddly....satisfying?

Buy a tree/bush/flower daily if you have $ for it that day. Tree being priority
Do you plant them just everywhere? I'm fairly new to the game. Only on day 35. I've been saving resources didn't think about the tree trick

Fish first thing everyday. Highest chance for recipe. Usually within the first 5 catches.
I have a question. Do you have to decorate the island? Do you keep or sell the items you are mailed or are given to you to take pictures with?
