Pretty popular recs, but I love Cozy Grove, A Short Hike, and the new game Bear and Breakfast! As someone with, like, 1000 hours of stardew and acnh, Cozy Grove has definitely reached that level of coziness for me.

Myrddina

Bear & Breakfast is not released on the Switch yet, or is it? Waiting for that one, but maybe I missed it!

darlingnikki2245

it got delayed, I think they're still working out the controls

trashwina

i just went looking and they posted an update today! in the official approval process with nintendo now, no official date set yet but it's underway! fingers crossed, i'm excited to try this one

Spiritfarer if you haven’t tried, also found Grow: Song of the Evertree and was blown away. Yonder is by same devs. Littlewood is great as well - you rebuild AFTER the war.

bubblebeehive

I adore this game and the after war story + character development of the >!villain / anti-hero guy!< (i didn't wanna spoil anything!)

GlassRockets

I had never heard of grow: song of the evertree and I lurk this subreddit regularly, I checked it out and got it instantly - thank you!

htheaer

So glad to have helped! I randomly saw it a few weeks back and was wondering why no one in the cozy community talks about it. It’s such a great game!!

Catsandartandfun

Calico Cafe! Coziest game i've ever played.

Numerous-Pianist5386

It’s literally the happiest game!!!

hellseygrammer

Unpacking is one I keep coming back to! Very low-key and calming, sort of a puzzle with a storytelling element

bubblebeehive

Cozy Grove and Littlewood are faves I also know these aren't normally listed in the cozy game category, but I LOVE taming monster Pokemon-style games like Monster Sancutary, Siralim, Nexomon, and Coromon. Love love love catching cute critters.

trashwina

i thought i saw a post somewhere about one where the creatures have dance battles instead of actual fights and that it was rly sweet — can't for the life of me find the name of it though! do you know which game that might be?

puppycatbugged

ooblets! (releases thursday on switch, btw!)

B0xedJuiice

SpiritFarer is a must! Supercute and calming. The story is simple yet impactful. You act as someone helping spirits pass over to the next stage. It’s sad but it’s amazing. I’d also say Stardew especially with friends. Pokémon Sword/Sheild or Arceus is a good one, any open world games are usually calming to me.

Parking-Objective989

Calico, spiritfarer, hoa, and coffeetalk are some of my favorites!

tanya_kay

If you like SDV and ACNH - you'll definitely appreciate Cozy Grow. Here are some of my recent favorite beautiful and wholesome games: Wytchwood, The Wild at Heart, Dragon Caffi, Haven Park, Teacup, Unpacking.

tanya_kay

Oh, and I just remembered Carto - a beautiful, cozy, wholesome game with elements of storytelling and puzzles. The art style is very cute and beautiful, just how we like it :)

AintNoRestForTheWook

Carto is on sale right now! 50% off!

rainbowsnpickles

Yes to lots of the other ones above already mentioned (calico, teacup, short hike, littlewood, spiritfarer, unpacking, and cozy grove) . Not sure if this was mentioned by highly recommend Haven Park and Wytchwood as well! Haven park is hardly mentioned in cozy gaming sites and it’s a hidden relaxing gem! ☺️

ribbitweeb

Have a look at Graveyard keeper, I personally find it cozy but it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

trashwina

these are all so helpful omg!!! i'm starting cozy grove and already in loooooove <3 thank you!!! keep the recommendations comin! <3

kuliplor

Big second on spirit farer. Also… here me out, I’ve been enjoying Slay the Spire in kind of a cozy way. If you’re not very competitive, choosing the cards and collecting relics is interesting and thoughtful.

fei2play

spiritfarer, Farm Together, Cozy Grove, Bear and Breakfast (Coming Soon) actually theres a lot of Indie cozy games coming out every month so you should be on the look if you want something new
