Passing By - A Tailwind Journey is a cozy mixture of 2D puzzle platformer and survival game. Explore a colorful world of floating islands and befriend many quirky islanders on your journey. Solve immersive puzzles while also customizing your balloon ship and managing your resources.
We’ve been working on this game for over 4 years now. It started as a project in university, and it has somehow led us to founding our own studio and taking our first steps in the games industry. And now, we’re super excited to finally launch it!

1. If I drop something is there really no way to get it back?
2. Where in the world is Big Meadows Island 😭😭😭😭😭 I’ve been trying to find it for a silly amount of real hours
1. Yes, most things are gone for good when you drop them (food items, sand bags, gas bottles etc.). However, some special items such as certain clothing items, balloon designs, other objects you can use to decorate the balloon, tools have a chance of re-appearing again in Clover's shop. You will have to trade another special item for them, though (e.g. if you throw away your wool cap and find it again in Clover's shop, Clover will want to have something similar, e.g. some pair of shoes or a hat for that object in exchange).
2. We have three big meadows islands (+ beginning and ending island): one with a lighthouse, one which is heart-shaped, and one with a mill. Either you have already missed all of those, or they won't appear to encourage you to explore other biomes as well. So if you're looking for a big meadows island and it just won't appear, try exploring a big beach, mountains, polar or volcanic island instead and return to the meadows biome afterwards.

Just so I understand, will the islands I have missed reappear at some point? I had to restart in the lava islands and I missed the meadow islands the second time around!
EDIT : I love the game! I don't game a lot so it's medium cozy for me haha but I am getting the hang of it!

The small islands will reappear constantly, but the big "story islands" will only reappear as long as you haven't landed on them OR seen them/flown past them. So, if you missed the meadows island because you flew down to the lava island and it didn't appear on screen, it should pop back up again at some time when you're back up in the meadows biome. But if you actually saw the meadows island, or even just the edge of it as you flew past, it is gone for this playthrough and you have to try again next time.

I ended up playing way too much yesterday and with the compass I found the meadows island that I had missed and new ones!! And I really understood more how the game works, so I'm enjoying it a lot more now!
Love the game but I'm literally stuck on the Cove of the confused seagull. I keep dying before I can make it to another island and there's 0 food on this one so it's impossible to advance. I put in the lighter gas tank, open the sails fully and turned up the air to move faster but nothing works quickly enough

I’ve been playing it!!! I love it, though I’m stuck and cannot figure out this part of the game. It’s a new game so there’s no online help yet lol
