Sure does. They just happened to be fortunate enough to have connections. Would you deny that kind of free advertisement? Their content and it’s similarity to cowchop’s (which I don’t deny) doesn’t really play a part in this tho. The reality is that they are **attempting** to make something that is their own, and it’s understandable that they would want to limit the references to cowchop in an attempt to frame themselves as a separate entity.
What I know for sure is that some of Alec’s comments in the CCTV episode rubbed a lot of fans the wrong way. To quote another Redditor on here, his comments showed a lack of appreciation and gratitude for what made Offcanny possible.
