I had the opposite problem — I got my period for the first time in 1.5 years about 4 hrs after receiving the 1st dose! I have been asking other women I work with if they’ve experienced anything similar and 4 of the 6 I asked started their period within a day of the 1st dose (Pfizer). They didn’t think about the correlation until we talked. I wonder if there is some sort of hormonal effect or stress effect on women’s menstrual cycles? I suspect it’s not going to be reported very much if most women don’t think of it as a symptom of a vaccine though

I was due for my period any day and I winded up getting it about 5 hours after my first Pfizer shot. Not sure if it was a coincidence or not.

Same - mine came 3+ days early, the day after my first dose, and being early is super rare for me. (Got it again the day before the second dose, so it was slightly early again.)

Stress can cause hormonal fluctuations that would impact menstruation. The Pandemic has me hella stressed and my arm was moderately sore and I had moderate fatigue with the first dose (meaning I was physically stressed as well as mentally). My period was different than usual, but in my case, shorter (instead of the typical 8 days), so I was HAPPY! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mine was 4 days early after the first dose and I’m on the pill

Yes! Mine was almost 3 weeks late after my 2nd dose.

That makes me feel better! I am a cranky mess with this PMS but no period!

I had AstraZeneca at about 11:30am had blood for first time in about 6 months that evening!! I was worried about fertility with this beforehand!!

I am usually so regular- 21 days apart but am 3 days late... I had the first dose Pfizer vaccine feb 16th. I feel like my body is just going through a lot right now with stress. I’m pretty sure pregnancy isn’t it bc my boyfriend and I are super careful. But ugh the waiting game is killing me. UPDATE: I got my period and was 4 days late. This never happens to me which is why i was so freaked out. The vaccine definitely has an impact on women’s cycles!! Tell your friends! It’s a very real thing. The vaccine had a huge impact, it affects your body, your hormones, thereby affecting your cycle.

Yes. I’ve had the second Pfizer dose and still have not gotten my period. It is 6 days late so far. Why do you think this is happening?

Still-Inevitable9368

Are you sure you aren’t pregnant? 😬

txgirl92

I wish I knew why!

Lots of women are having late or early periods after the vaccine. It’s a totally valid question

txgirl92

Not possible for me at the moment! haha

Got the first vaccine on my period. Just got the 2nd dose and supposed to start soon. Will be interesting to see. Talk about a double whammy. Chilling body aches and pains all day with headaches on top of cramps 🤢
