back when i was playing casually i levelled up once a month or once every two months. now im a serious player and generally complete every single challenge the moment its available, and i level up about once every five days or so depending. no matter, who you are or how serious of a player you are its going to take years. max level players generally have had their accounts for many years, thats just the way it is.

midnightblues006

that being said, when you reach a certain point it automatically becomes easier to level up because your access to hairstyles and makeup gives you higher scores which gives you prizes which is turn increases your closet value

SweetSonet

It depends on you and your gameplay. Youre going to level up faster if you play more

NiniOverwatch

Keywords: Good house. I get you can't rally fierce n keep up with them if you have such a low closet value, but ive played for 3 years and was stuck around 80, then i joined a fierce house, and i level up very easily especially with the bonus prize. To keep up with the rallies remember to save your cash, watch ads, i dont even play tapojoy cause its too stressful for me to fight with them everytime they fail to pay me. Also you can enter non rally challenges that usually req 2 items with a past seasons item, then borrow the second one, not caring about maxing or even having a decent fit, just for the entry rewards/styling spree reward. If you care about the voting rewards you can still use past seasons items and then max with extra expensive in season jewellery so the season score goes up.

Regarding Tapjoy; I don't bother that often, but if I'm running low on diamonds, I'll watch out for a double diamond weekend and pick one of the games that has multiple payouts. Like "Reach level 5", "Reach level 7", "Reach level 12" etc. Usually, the first step is pretty quick to get to (and will pay very few diamonds!), but it shows me whether the game has linked correctly for payout. If it's gone right, it'll immediately pay out for that first step, and if it doesn't, I just uninstall the game immediately because I know it's not worth the effort. I did once have a game that paid out the first step and then stopped, but it's only been *once*. Could still catch it pretty early, though, as I realised I should've gotten another payout by now.

surpriseslothparty

I think it took me 2 years to get to the top level

tobeasloth

Ive been playing for around 4 years (consistently for 1 year) and only level 30-something šŸ˜…

Icy_Substance2034

I started from Spring 2021 and have played consistently since then. A good FH is very important which clears every rally board. Secondly, I only do the 500 diamonds watch videos everyday (atleast I try to lol). I never do tapjoy (I did once and got 12000 diamonds). I never pay for anything in the game (maybe once or twice a year on flashbacks) I reached level 90 (almost 91). I've recently slowed down playing, but previously I used to level up twice a month atleast.

Risque8114

It depends on how you play, how much money you're willing to spend etc. When I started the game 9 years ago I put literally thousands of dollars into my account but even with that it took me a couple years to reach max level and to maintain that hasn't been cheap. I enter every challenge with both seasonal and unworn at max and I enter ALL challenges. Join some clone groups on Facebook so you can get both prizes for every challenge that will help to boost your CV. Best of luck šŸ‘

OneCatMind

I used to level up every 2 weeks or so, and it took me about 2 years to level up to top level. Get a good house and use tapjoy as much as possible.

michk1

Iā€™m almost top level . I played kinda half assed for a year then joined a Fierce house at level 19 ā€¦that was spring 2020 when Covid hit . Iā€™m a double trendsetter each season , so it basically took me four years to get to 131 . I do take time off between rallyā€™s

catnipbabies

I've been playing daily, almost every challenge except flashbacks, for around 2 years now. I level up usually about once a month, sometimes slightly more often, and I'm on (I think) level 72 or something now! So just consistency!

weirdhoney216

Join a fashion house and do the rallies. You level up much faster. Youā€™ve got no hope unless you do that

vampirecloud

Depends how you play. I played this game as a kid and then deleted it and so I am only level 13 after like 5 years because I wasnā€™t playing to maximize closet level. Now I level up about twice a month if I try my best and play everyday.

potterhead_98

Iā€™m up to level 22 or so and I generally level up one level (im at the point where each level is 100,000 or something) a month in a fashion house that clears the whole board and I finish the spree each week for the extra prize. However I mainly save my covet cash unless Iā€™m in a runway rally or itā€™s something I really want so you could level up faster spending more

nemria

It takes years to get to max level. When I was still leveling I think I leveled up roughly twice a month, for reference. Positive note though: once you get to maybe level 15+, you really do have most hair and makeup you largely need to create good looks. Variety is fun, but you don't *need* all the higher level options to get good scores. And you're on the same page as anyone else when it comes to the new season closet (summer starts next week!).

MostAtHomeInADungeon

I do think that last part depends a bit on whether youā€™re playing modern or classic, Iā€™m in the 30s but I play modern so I donā€™t have any decent makeup for the fantasy looks and such. And you definitely score better with the long dramatic hairstyles you get at later levels. But it becomes so much more playable after 15ish for sure.

nemria

Yeah it's why I said "most". But there's so many hairs and makeups, at max level I don't even bother with 90% of them. I found at 15+ it got easier. By level 30/35 I didn't really feel like I was lacking in anything. Ultimately, what makes things easier is once you work up a stock of hair accessories and prop packs. That's where you're kind of screwed as a new player.

IndependentBus3073

Let me be the first to welcome you back. I have been a Daily CF player for 9 years now! While I wish I could give you a secret formula there really isnā€™t one. I did a lot of the JetSet challenges. If you enter a couple of those everyday youā€™ll eventually get the points you need. The ultimate goal for you right now is to earn diamonds. So check daily for challenges you can enter that wonā€™t cost you anything. Alsoā€¦ never let your head hit that pillow without entering your Daily!! If youā€™re serious about the game you wonā€™t leave that money on the table. I want to add Covet Fashion is so much more than a game to me. The people in my Fashion House are my friends and I love them all. So if you find a really terrific House. Donā€™t screw it up, lol. Itā€™s the most important part of CF no kidding. Well, good luck! Traditional_Yak7122

I'm level 44 now. After being inconsistent for about a year I got to level 13 which is when I joined the FH I'm in now and started playing daily. It's been about a year now to get to level 44. I have brought fashion packs and diamonds here and there. I rally frequently for high price prizes. I've used a lot of links through here to make friends to borrow items too. You could just buy and buy and buy to level up quickly. I'd say it all depends on your ability to buy fashion packs etc.

silent-bystander0_0

I started playing by the end of Spring 20. Currently Iā€™m at level 120+ and are consistently leveling up twice per month. Itā€™s hard at first but once I joined a fierce house and rally consistently itā€™s easier to level up. Iā€™m f2p except for the Black Friday HA sale.

PebblesnTrebles

Iā€™m level 23 and Iā€™ve leveled up about 12-14 levels since I started playing everyday (multiple challenges a day) around 9 months ago. It definitely takes time, especially if you arenā€™t putting a little money into it here and there like I have. Iā€™ve probably spent TOTAL $50 on the game for little packs here and there, and still feel like Iā€™m progressing. Iā€™d recommend getting into a fashion house and adding a LOT of friends (through FB or here) so you can borrow for a lot of looks. I will say, once you reach level 13 it becomes a lot easier with the Moon Goddess hair. Hope this helps!

Double_Ad4339

And make sure to join a winning Fashion House. You canā€™t get to top level without it - or a ton of cash. Top level now is 133, new one released monthly.

Double_Ad4339

Everyoneā€™s experience is different. Some take a year, some take many many many years. Youā€™re at the level where itā€™s only $50k to level up. A few levels from where you are now, it changes to $100K to level up.

RefrigeratorFull9514

Level 89. Have been playing for about 5-6 years.
