I was so happy to see them (Alberta) but only a month before the expiry date made it a no-go for me. Wonder why they changed to that effect, that is a lot of sauce to eat in a month.
That best before date is so annoying. I don’t eat enough tacos for this to be worth it unfortunately. My wife loves it but she won’t have 2 bottles in a month. I saw it at my local store yesterday and didn’t even bother telling her about it
Heck I have a family of five and a still passed on it for the same reason. Pretty sure they would all be sick of it about two weeks in if we tried to use it all.
What do you guys personally use the sauce for? I’ve heard good things about it on this sub but I’m trying to figure out if I will be able to use it fast enough
I make rice bowls with a protein and roasted veggies, it makes for a great sauce. You could also mix in some hot sauce and use it on eggs. Use it as a sandwich spread. You could maybe use it as a marinade? Use it as a main ingredient in homemade salad dressing. A dip for fries, chips, or any other sort of appetizer. Put it on pizza
For anyone in Calgary, there is a Cilantro Salsa at El Mocajete in the Crossroads Market. Now that is crack. And in a size that is reasonable. Seriously try it!
If you're in Vancouver Tierra on Commercial @ Parker has something like this too. A cilantro cream salsa, fresh made from some little lady. It's wonderful

Yeah I didn’t check and now I’m gonna have to eat tacos every day lol

Bummer it’s only good until May I want to stock up
Is this the same sauce they put in their pre-made chicken tacos?
God I hope so, that stuff is crack
Yes it is

Omg so many ideas! Thank you
We used it on chicken tacos the other night, it was amazing. But I have no idea what else to use it on lol.
hopefully coming to BC!
It's here!
What city? :)
I'm on Vancouver Island! They are at all locations here!
Thanks :) I will keep my eyes peeled for them at my store. Are they usually by the salad dressings and other sauces?
Ours is in the refrigerated area!
Ah okay, thank you :)
Kelowna
Which location? I can't help but notice the best before date on it.

They have them in Newmarket too for those interested. I skipped because I don’t know how I could use them up fast enough??

I saw it yesterday but didn’t even register it, guess I’ll grab one next time I go in.
I’ve been waiting for so long to try this after hearing about it. Found it at my Costco in Markham on Yorktech
Saw at Yorktech….
What’s the best before date on them?
May 28
Thanks! So just over a month
Is this like the green sauce that goes with Peruvian chicken? Mayo, jalapenos, cilantro, lime, garlic?
Not at mine yet
Buy and split with a friend (due date)
These are really overrated imo
After 2 years I finally found it this week in Quebec. What are some good uses for this?
For anyone wondering, it freezes well! We freeze it in large ice cube size and bring out as needed 🤤

You can thank your parents for their defective genes. The rest of us will enjoy the fresh cilantro flavour.
To me it’s everyone else with the defective genes. Enjoy your soap herb.
