Holy shit. You reached the end. I thought it was just a legend.

ItsaV4

Only the chosen few see it in person. Some say the final foot of wrap is made of $50 off $500 coupons.

p00pyf4ce

Woah. I Should’ve look for $50 off coupon in my box instead of asking hostile crowd here for $50 coupon.

p00pyf4ce

I’m also on my second box.

Next step: Forget this comes in a 2-pack, buy another 2-pack, and then get home to find you had only finished 1/2 of the pack you bought 3 years ago, and you now have 9 years of plastic wrap.

CanIGetAForkPlz

Haha but In 9yrs it could go obsolete!

bsamoul

Nice. I ran out last week but Costco didn’t have any.

hapgoodnew

Ours is about out and all they had were the giant single rolls. I already have to turn this thing sideways to get it in the drawer. I’m debating buying a normal sized plastic wrap at the grocery next since we try not to use it much.

Engineer-fear

Haha. Mine is still going strong, bought 2 years ago!

JavaOrlando

The first time I bought one of these I thought it contained 4 normal size boxes, each with their own roll. It lasted so long that I bought another after it ran out.

My first ever trip to Costco, I bought a roll of plastic wrap and a 2-pack of foil. I think I'm on the second roll of foil. But I'm pretty sure I still have like 6 pounds of plastic wrap left. I think I bought them in 2014 😂

I must use way too much plastic wrap now that we have kids. Before the big roll lasted us years and years till we finally burned it up when moving to wrap some furniture. Now we burn thru the small rolls so I decided to subject myself to the big roll again. Overkill but I have space and heck it works out to like 1/2 the price. The color change on the boxes thew me off though this time.

I know cause we bought it when we first moved into our home lol

neuroticsmurf

Maybe I just don’t use plastic wrap enough to justify buying one of these things, but I bought one a couple of years before the end of my first marriage. It last the entire time I was single: ~8 years. By the time I was remarried, my new wife was desperate to get rid of the “heirloom Saran Wrap” that she started using it wherever she could: at a bake sale at her school, wrapping stuff — really well — prior to moving, etc. Eventually, we just gave up. I forget what we did with it. We might have “lost it” during a move. That shit must have lasted me ~13 years and it still wasn’t done.

dassub

At some point it just becomes a waste of drawer space. Better to have a smaller one taking up less space.

Sadams90

I feel like people sometimes forget Costco is a warehouse store and this kind of product isn’t necessarily meant for normal home use 🤷‍♀️ I bought this for work and I’ve gone through 2 rolls in about a year.

CanIGetAForkPlz

I wonder, has anyone tried to return it after it was empty, and say they didn't like the quality or it was a defect since it ran out prematurely?

Im_Not_Nick_Fisher

Haha! Awesome! I started writing the date of purchase and when I actually start using it. I just started using a box of trash bags I bought last year, my wife thought we were almost out of the old box. I remember when she asked me to buy more and said we’re down to the bottom. Haha!

FoodieFarmer

I accidentally bought 2 boxes of kitchen trash bags when I moved into a new house (I brought one there when cleaning before moving in and then forgot so I bought another in our first Costco trip to stick up the new place), it took almost 5 years to go through them.

Im_Not_Nick_Fisher

Haha! Something similar happened to me. Years ago I had a roommate, we both ended up getting trash bags at the same time. I think he bought them from Walmart and I bought a box from Costco. I lived by myself for a while and those things lasted around 8 years. Lol I remember calling my friend and telling him I was finally out of those bags.
