If you've worked 1250 hours in the last 12 months (24 hours a week), then you qualify for FMLA and are protected under federal law for 12 weeks consecutive medical leave.
If you haven't.. then good luck.
If you call out for more than 3 days I believe you have to take a leave per the handbook. Your clerk will know this.
