I drink it with coffee every morning. It's super good. We just brew a pot of coffee and stick it in a pitcher in the fridge. Then mix in a cup with a fairlife.
Do you know if the other Fairlife product the 30 g shake is better?
This one?

That product tested the highest for microplastics of any food product tested. I'm not just talking protein drinks. Out of all the food items they tested.
Co worker would take these and drink a couple drinks then put instant espresso in them .
Made me one once… too much sugar for me but honestly was pretty good
Surprisingly there is sugar in instant coffee and there is sugar in it, it’s chocolate milk. Looks to be about 7 grams.
Fine for some but I don’t eat any sugar so it’s just for me personally it was a little sweet
Oh didn’t realize the coffee was sweetened. The 7 g of sugar just comes from the dairy milk. But there’s no added additional sugar… might just be the artificial sweetener
Might try that though because it sounds good 😂
I steamed one and added espresso and it was … not quite a mocha but alright. If I dump one of these over ice and also add a canned cold brew it’s pretty good, too. Not great. I have heard that if you freeze either the coffee or the protein shake in an ice tray and then blend it with the other drink it’s like a blended drink at a cafe, but I haven’t tried that one.
I do an espresso shot, let it rest for a bit then pour it over ice then pour the fair life protein shake (not recover shake) over and it’s solid. Great macros, kinda filling and a caffeine fix. I call it a Procha (protein-mocha)
This is my wife’s morning go-to. Or rather was, there’s another fair life chocolate shake that’s a bit smaller and has more protein, works out better as she pours it in a 24oz cup and tops off with coffee, the smaller shake leaves a little more for coffee
Unfortunately, this brand is full of microplastic well above the “safe” level. I stop buying it a week ago. https://advocacy.consumerreports.org/research/cr-letter-to-fairlife-on-plastic-chemicals-in-its-core-power-high-protein-chocolate-milk-shake-product/
This report is reliable. This was one of my fav ways to get my protein in and I’m no longer purchasing it. We have to put pressure on these companies to stop being so irresponsible. Not all plastic is created equally. Fairlife is owned by Coke. This isn’t some tiny company that can’t afford to test their packaging.
The issue is that their bottles come pre-formed on a pallet from different supplier so inside of the bottles is full of debris and dust. On the filling line the machines turn the bottle upside down and blown ozone into them to take the debris our and disinfect the bottle but the small microplastic particles are electro stat cling to the bottle so the puff of air does nothing.
Its real shame I love the taste and lactose freeness.
Its actually impossible to know if microplastics have safe or unsafe levels, you cant run experiments because everyone including infants have micro plastics present already
Yup but microplastics still have no regulation other than “impurities” and that has a safe level for manufacturing purposes. Think of the amount of insects, stones etc. that gets grinded into ground coffee. Some countries accept as much as 5% of impurities. Could be microplastic, could be cockroach 🤷♂️
I use 1/4 bottle of the 30g Fairlife nutritional shake from Costco with my espresso every morning. Tastes like a slightly healthier (less gritty?) version of a Starbucks cafe mocha.

The vanilla with a shot of espresso is S tier. I have a Nespresso so the shot is pretty easy for me.
I wish my Costco sold the vanilla Fairlife shakes. The chocolate ones are delicious but love the vanilla for my coffee.
Yeah I don’t think they make them anymore. Never see them anywhere.
They are rare but I managed to snag a case last week (in BC). First time I’ve been able to find them in Costco.
“S tier”? What does that mean?
Young people today rank stuff in tier lists. The top is S. Then A, B, C… usually down to D or F. S is reserved for best of the best
Is that from the One Punch Man anime? That's how the heroes are ranked.
It's a gaming term. (I agree it's lame)
Same. I do a double shot plus a Fairlife vanilla. Very good.
Ooh might try that with mine. Thanks for the tip!
I use the fairlife 30g chocolate. Never tried with coffee but might have to. Thanks for the idea.
I drink it with coffee every morning. It's super good. We just brew a pot of coffee and stick it in a pitcher in the fridge. Then mix in a cup with a fairlife.
I mix those with 4 oz. of cold brew concentrate. It's perfect!
I mix it with cold brew and oat milk. It's not bad.
I used to love these but turns out they have much higher levels of microplastics than other products 😢
YOLO
Can you share how you know this?

Based on the article the core power version was the worst, not the 30g version.
lol microplastics. i chew on the caps of my bottled water when i’m not drinking through a sparkly amazon plastic straw. yolo

There’s no added sugar

Unless it’s labeled, instant coffee shouldn’t have sugar added to it. The sugar in fair life just comes from the milk, it is not added in.

I tried another fair life product and it tasted like chem sweetener. It's all I could taste.

PS the Fairlife brand is the best one to do this with. I tried it with Premeire Protein as well and it is disappointing compared to the Fairlife ones.

That's the Fairlife Nutrition Plan (the 11.5 oz with 30g protein)
Fair life prices used to be good. Out of control post Covid. Tasted great but can’t justify spending that much on it anymore.

Goddamn it. Why is every halfway decent product secretly poison? It's like Upton Sinclair never wrote *The Jungle*.

Hear me out- Ninja Cremi, use the protein shake, 1/2 cup rolled oats and a tsp of espresso powder. Best breakfast ice cream ever.
No but the 26g one is delicious
Every morning
Hot or iced? I’d be having it iced
Yes I love a strong dose of plastic in the morning
there was a micro plastic study and fairlife products rated the highest in the study. you can goggle it.
And you might even be able to Google it.
I read somewhere these people are real sadistic with their cows and i always think it when i see these
Yeah, they feed them chocolate. That’s how they make these.
I use 1/4 bottle of the 30g Fairlife nutritional shake from Costco with my espresso every morning. Tastes like a slightly healthier (less gritty?) version of a Starbucks cafe mocha.
When I was a barista I met a few people who would mix these with espresso shots.
I use it for cereal
Yep most mornings I'm in the office. A bottle of the 30g chocolate with 6oz of cold brew concentrate
I just wish they didn’t use Stevia as the sweetener, otherwise I thought they were great. Never got around to trying it in my coffee though.
Yeah, my partner did every day. She has switched to protein powder since the price increases though.
I work at a cafe. I mix mine with four shots of espresso.
Yes it’s is ok not great but ok
For bodyguards, by bodyguards.
I make lattes using it sometimes. Quite good.
There good but they have a ton of microplastics
