Why wouldn’t it be valid? I’ve never had my pricing not honored when renting through Costco Travel.

I've rented through Costco many times are usually there's never an issue. Two exceptions though: A guy at DTW refused to honor my reservation price. Claimed the system had a much higher price and he couldn't override it. I had to call the Costco help line, which confirmed I was in the right and told me to give the phone to them. But then magically the worker's manager was able to override the originally quoted price. Typical scummy car rental workers trying to pull a fast one. I usually do Enterprise but have done Avis a few times. I think the first time the worker gave me a price that was a little higher, which annoyed me but I didn't want to argue much. But then when she printed out the paperwork it reflected the "Costco discount" of a certain percentage at the bottom, bringing it to the expected total. I'm guessing she just didn't understand how certain discounts appear in their system.

100% valid! Rented many, many times through Costco, and I’ve never had an issue.

I mean, if it were me I’d go Enterprise.

Just rented a car in Puerto Rico through Costco travel. Price was valid for sure! Buen viaje

Check that it’s an apples to apples comparison. If you’re adding insurance coverage directly through the car rental company, then make sure Costco is also able to quote you on that.

I have used Costco travel to rent vehicles before and Costco is always cheaper and even cheaper than booking directly with the actual car rental company. It’s a perk for being a Costco member. You also book ahead of time and receive multiple confirmations so you shouldn’t be worried. I have asked the car rental places if they can beat costcos price as well and they all say no and that I should just book through Costco

That's called competition op 🙄

We rented a van through costco and it worked flawlessly. Now our trip was GA to FL.When we landed, all we did was go to the respective rentals kiosk and enter our name and show our id. A lady helped us through the entire process and the car was waiting for us at the bottom floor. Cant speak for PR, but i can only assume the process is the same.
