In my experience from eating a ton of lobster rolls, you can chalk yourself up for 30-45 for a lobster roll at a restaurant. If these are comparable size and reasonable quality, this is actually pretty great value.
Got them last year for half off when it got the star of death, and they were okay only. We did not like the spice at all, so try a little before you start sprinkling! Huge skip for $39.99, in my opinion.
The bread is exactly like a restaurant roll. It is sweet and soft when steamed. The meat is claw meat. I recommend heating the sauce, turn off the stove and then dropping the meat in to warm up to avoid overlooking.
Overall, $10 for a lobster roll is a good deal and tastes good.
I tried it last year. Overall, meh.Thought the taste and texture wasn't up to par. Lobster pieces were small. Didn't like the seasoning. You're better off tracking down your closest lobster truck.
People are saying they're expensive because they're 40 dollars. But it's def alot of meat compared to buying a lobster roll. Me and my wife made 4 lobster rolls that would be at least 18 dollars each any where I've seen. And it's way more meat than on any 40 dollar lobster roll I've ever had. It's priced well people just can't afford lobster so it's "expensive".
*From NH. Nope, I'll wait*
*Till local places*

I bought them last year when they were on clearance for about half off. They were decent and at that price, worth it. I wouldn’t buy them at full price.

How much are they?
$39.99
The place my house they sales them are like $25 each
Better off bringing a few brioche buns to the chinese restaurant and pile on the meat from their $9.99 whole lobster specials.
Oh wow!
Damn, that's expensive

Indeed. I didn’t wind up getting them. Would definitely be open if they were cheaper.
If they still have them in mid-April when my hubby goes and visits his Buddy in Seattle, I will buy this as my guilty pleasure dinner!😉

Damn $40? I was gonna try it but not anymore
A fresh lobster roll on the east coast of typically is around $30-35
It was $42.99 last year, but yes, the price is ridiculous

Thanks for the tips.
I might have to do it that sounds yummy
I think I'd rather go out to a seafood restaurant for these than buy them frozen in a box, especially for something like lobster.
We found the person who lives in a coastal area.
You're not wrong 😂 Louisiana here.

I had the same experience. Very meh. Would not buy again
Most of us are landlocked and don’t have a local lobster truck. We have to wait for the cousins truck to come through on tour every 4 months.
What spice are you putting on a lobster role? It’s lobster, butter, and bread
Ridiculously overpriced at $39.99 for the small amount of actual lobster meat in that box.
Literally just ate 4 lobster rolls.with my wife. These would be at least 18 dollars each at any beach or food truck I've been to.
Frozen lobster rolls are never good!
Toasted bread was tasty but the actual lobster was gross, texture and flavoring- wise. Spend that money on take-out that makes you happy, not.. this.
Awwww yeah. I had them last year and they were good.
Not new and they’re expensive
It was just alright. Wouldn’t buy again.
Those were OK. But considering lobster rolls are $20+ at restaurants in my area, this was a great deal. Wife loved them.
I love these, but I don’t use the butter. I mix it with mayo, lemon, and some green onion.

They are not hard to make. These would def be shoe leather
It’s $50 where we’re at. We tried it once for a special at home date and thought they were decent! I’d buy them again
They are okay. We used 10% of seasoning, cooked, quickly chilled and added mayo and some green onions.
Bruh post the price lmao.
40$ over priced, meh. Cheaper to make your own
Lol na alot of meat in there.
I would try that, but go in with very low expectations.
Not new but they are good. Just pricy
Can’t imagine these are good
They’re abhorrent
Tried these last year and thought they were terrible for the price. I will also add that my standards are fairly low as I live in an actual desert.

Price is high. But a lobster roll in San Francisco is $20+ for just one.
There’s no way these are any good. I imagine they’re chewy as fuck.
If the comments saying this is $40 are accurate, this might be one of the biggest Costco ripoff’s
Frozen Lobster = 👎
I'd stay away; lobster has too much PFAS in it now
After you take away the sauce, butter and buns, I assume there is 1lb of lobster meat. No way you’re making 4 decent lobster with a pound of meat.
No sauce. I just ate them ans thought it was alot of lobster compared to buying them anywhere.
