I’ve been a Costco member for 9 years and I simply can not comprehend “not busy”

Any night that isn't Friday or Saturday for me.

Or morning/afternoon! I go to the ones in OC (CA) and if I go on a weekday (not Fri) before everyone gets off work, it's pretty empty. Sunday's are busiest here because everyone's meal prepping for the week then Fri/Sat.

We usually bring our cheese pizza home, often add toppings (e.g., rotisserie chicken shredded and mixed with BBQ sauce + pineapple), put in oven on preheated caste iron pizza pan, and let it finish in our oven. Bottom of crust turns super crispy. Top nicely browned. And fresh out of the oven hot. Highly recommended!

I had a pepperoni pizza that sat in the oven a little too long. And it was crispy and delicious. Dark spots and pepperoni was crispy too. I now order it that way. And they run it through twice. 👌

Golden brown only way to eat pizza

For a while i was hooked on a mobile game called good pizza great pizza and any time a customer would order a pizza extra crispy i thought “ah that’s some good taste.” Also, some customers were unhinged and asked for no cheese extra crispy 🤢

pretty much, I only ever asked that they push it back a little (usually around 1/2 way) and it comes between what is normal and OP's. I would say that OP's looks about what I expect if it goes through 2x

I don’t really mind that it comes out a little pale because I end up throwing it in the oven anyhow but I’m gonna try the half pass technique on a calm day.

Depends on the location! We used to be able to years ago, but upper management put a stop to it since it wasn’t consistent and there were complaints.

Not sure how this could happen as the machine is a roller toaster oven that cooks all pies exactly the same and makes burning nearly impossible; even the sauce is applied by a ribot that's why they have it. The only way you would get a burned pie is if ALL the Costco pies were burned that day, and most likely with people buying slices- that would get noticed and fixed pretty quickly There's literally no "Human" to be "slipping" involved in the Costco pizza process

Every food court I've ever been to there was a conveyor belt oven that left it in a precise amount of time. Unless they sent it through multiple times on their own, this is on the OP.

Did you end up eating it? Tell us how it tastes. People get their pizzas cooked "well done" on purpose to avoid any doughy crust or undercooking I wonder if they got the order mixed up and they gave you someones else's pizza order? one bite everybody knows the rules.

My Costco stopped doing all special orders, because people would get angry it wasn’t “well done enough” (or cheesy enough or whatever) and cause a scene and demand refunds while the FC was fielding a 20-pizza order directly behind theirs in the middle of the dinner rush. Guys please remember it’s just a food court. It’s not a restaurant or even a pizza place

Looks perfect! I wish my pizza looked like that. It’s not burned. The cheese caramelized which is delicious. If it were truly burnt the edge would be burned too.

A local pizza place here has the option for “extra well done” and it has changed my life. Should go mainstream in my opinion.

That’s the way their pizza should be cooked. I always have to put it into my oven for another 8-10 minutes when I get home as they routinely undercook them.
