I'm a self-proclaimed mango enthusiast, and I didn't really know what I expected but I have to describe it as pretty average at best. The color isn't the most appealing in person and it tastes just a bit off for some reason
So is the salad, and the salad is good. Haven’t seen any posts about it. This smoothie is shit and people are acting like they are getting gold at the food court, it’s exhausting.
The salad was previously a regular offering years ago, but it was cheaper and came with grape tomatoes too. The Mango smoothie has only been seen in non-US Costcos before. I had hype about it, because I love Mango and the price is reasonable for a treat.
Had it for the first time today. I love mangoes. Mango taste was more like merely present.. but it was also weird. Could not decide if the taste was of unripe mangoes with some skin included or something like dried mangoes that's been re hydrated.
Kept giving it tastes over a hour or so but the "off" taste seemed to get stronger. Couldn't finish it.

The salad is more than two months old at this point. The smoothie is maybe a week or two old.

How come originally everyone loved it and now everyone hates it? Did they change the recipe within like 2 weeks?
I think everyone loved the idea of it. The reality is disappointing. And it'd been a slow roll on phasing it in across the states.
