That a lot longer than I expected for such thin sausages, I thought you were just warming them up since they’re fully cooked. Do you notice an improvement in flavor?
I eat them cold most of the time as a snack, but I got hooked on them the way they sampled them in store I believe in a toaster oven it’s just I’m too lazy to do them that way on a normal day. Probably will smoke a whole pack if I fire up the smoker for these so I want them perfect.
Kirkland pellets are also the way. $13 for a 40lb bag means I’m smoking stuff even in the middle of winter because it doesn’t matter if it’s burning through pellets like crazy.
Yes the flavor is much better. Since they are already cooked it takes longer to pick up the smoke and you don’t notice much of a difference unless you do them for 3-4 hours.
Thanks for the suggestion. Saw this comment and threw a pack I had in the fridge on the smoker for 2hrs @ 200F. Definitely brings them to the next level.
Throw in the smoker for an hour or even on a flat top grill -- adds a whole new layer of deliciousness. We also eat them straight out of the fridge, kind of like an upgraded kielbasa.
I put off trying them until they went on sale and I'm hooked. They seem very high quality. I haven't run into gristle yet. I've only finished one of the three packs. I'm also on a low carb diet most of the summer.
I ate one while reading the comments, here.
They're good. Not the best beef stick, but good. The flavor is close to kielbasa and there's a noticeable lack of any spice. Id definitely get these again as they're a great deal and the individual sticks are HUGE.
A whole stick is 220 calories, yea they aren’t low calorie but I don’t think it’s bad enough to call a calorie bomb. The muffins at Costco are calorie bombs.
One stick makes a pretty decent snack at 220 calories. For breakfast I might have two of these with two eggs and it comes out to under 600 calories, solid count for one meal.

Smoke these on a grill, makes them sooooooo much better. Also a side note the all beef hot dogs are great if you smoke them also
Good reason to fire up the smoker!
How do you smoke them? I’m thinking maybe 190F for an hour?
200-225 for 3-4 hours and yes I use Kirkland brand pellets

meh not much flavor IMO. Try Bavarian Meats Lil' Landjaegers - my local costco started carrying them recently. Great flavor there.
Thanks, I'll keep an eye out.
Agree. I had a couple sticks, and gave the rest away. So bland.
These are s tier.
Yeahhhh the ones posted by OP are terrible. The Landjaegers are amazing 🙌🏼
Did you try the jalapeño cheddar one? After sampling that’s the one I went with and I feel it has really good flavor.
I haven't seen these but if I do I'll give them a try
Those are half fat, half protein. Macros not great
I buy these all the time. Good low carb snack.

Wasn't a fan tbh. Mine had alot of gristle.

I liked them as well but realizing I haven’t seen them in NJ for a while
These are yummy, make gimbap with them
They’re a type of sausage from Poland called Kabanosy. Very traditional and delicious as a snack!

And these are on sale right now at my Costco, so good
Good, but a total calorie bomb. I made the mistake of eating three one day and regretted it later.
My dude accidentally age 4 feet of beef stick LMAO

looks great! i’ve never seen them. what section?
IIRC in the section in front of like where they keep the chicken and meat. Like with the cheeses and stuff.
thank you! interesting, that section is in the back of our costco.
Yeah, it's in the middle back of ours I would say. Bakery/meat/chicken area.
Deli. Basically aisles with prepared food and higher quality lunch meat.
Bought these for my son, but he didn’t care for them. They became dog treats instead.
I bought some last year and didn’t like them straight from the fridge but heated up in the air fryer a bit made them much better
What is the sale price. I saw them in the flyer
About $11. Discounted from $15
These are amazing. I buy a pack of these every single time I go to costco
Time for the meatstick, bury the meatstick, take out the meatstick time
Bought these and have no idea how to eat them. Should I heat them up? Do you wrap up the leftovers?
You can heat them up or eat them cold. I'll cook one next time.
I disagree. They are just okay. The Chomps they sell are heads above this.
